Tideclan History:
Tideclan was born to four ancient cats. They had been removed from their two-leg homes after having super-natural abilities. They were all siblings, so when they saw each other again, they new there was something different. They travelled for a long time, across plains and forests and tunnels, until they reached... A beach? This particular beach however, they had been drawn to. A mystical force, perhaps? No one truly knows, but the littermates knew well they had been brought here for a reason. A spirit - A water spirit, to be precise - had approached them, bestowing upon them each a role. A role that would soon be used in the clan that followed with their powers... Tideclan. After a while, the cats were named. The cats were called Water, Ice, Stream and Lake. They then were given the prophecy. The prophecy meant, they must begin a clan, otherwise the spirits of the ocean will bring bad forces upon all those who lived on the shore. Quickly, they gathered cats to create their clan. And quickly, Tideclan was born.
Tideclan Traditions:
Tideclan has three traditions:
Crab hunt day:
Crab hunt day, is where all the sea-hunters have a competition, hosted by the leader. They are sent into the ocean to hunt as many crabs as possible. Whoever returns with the most crabs wins first pick of the fresh-kill, as well as they get a total of three pieces of prey.
Anchor call:
Every year, on a decided full moon, the healer will go out to sea to find the anchor. The anchor is a way of communicating with an ancestor. However, on this particular Anchor call, the healer will give apprentices their gills, (yes, the cat's have gills. It's weird, I know, but I think it's fun!) and the healer will also be able to ask their ancestors one question, in which they must answer honestly.
Day of change:
On the day of rest, the sea/land hunters and the land/sea guards will swap places, so that the hunters and guards are given the opportunity to see what their clanmates must do.

- Every cat above the age of eleven moons must have gills unless a plot says otherwise.
- All cats must follow-through with the traditions.
- land/sea Hunters are only to defend against threats if the threat is too much for sea/land defenders alone to handle, and guards are not to hunt unless given permission by the leader, healer or deputy.

Territory.
Tideclan lives on a beach. They live at the bottom of a cliff in tunnels. The tunnels begin at the foot of the cliff, and lead into Tideclan camp. Tideclan have outside their camp tide pools, make-shift shelter, the dock (which begins at the edge of the ocean, leading about a tree-length into the ocean.) They hunt prey such as crabs, fish, (varying species) sharks, (however, this is extremely rare and happens approximately three times a year) and other marine life.
