"It's not reckless if you don't get hurt." Said Claus airily, sweeping his tail to balance himself as he tried to stand tall.

Link looked the machine up and down, then shook his head. "No idea. Maybe we could push buttons until something happens?"

Sammus nodded. "That's what I was planning to do. If you would like to help you can come, just don't slow me down." Warned the bird-like creature as she reached the ground.
"I guess...yeah." Claus was reluctant to admit to someone else being in the right, and stared at his claws.

(Okay, I just don't want to slow you down)
Sammus looked around, willing for the forest to give her a direction. When it did not, she shrugged and started off in a random direction. She was used to navigating areas with no known perameters.
"Oh..." Claus said quietly, "I'm sorry...I know how hard it is to loose people." He came down from stance, and brought his lizardy eyes to the level of his companion, reaching out with a claw, to pat the other's softly.

"Study it how?" Link asked, tilting his head. His huge unsightly claws would be of little use for delicate handling of things.
Sammus continued forward, her face was steely but inside she was ecstatic. At last she could replicate with total accuracy the advanced movement of her adoptive family. She used her claws as cleats to keep her balance and grip wherever she stepped, just as she had seen the Chozo do. "This is amazing..." She muttered when she could no longer contain her excitement.
"No problem!" Claus stood and gave himself a shake. "So, d'ya know where we are?"

"Surely you can find an advantage in your new body...increased strength, perhaps?" "You're not a monster, you're a dragon." Claus huffed sitting down. "There's a difference: Dragons are cooler! And less hairy. And also more unified in their structure. Also, we can breathe fire, probably!" He swished his tail excitedly. "And, getting turned into a dragon really isn't a bad thing...at least I didn't find the change bad." |

"Try them." Sammus took a step back moving out of Pit's way to give him a clearer path to build up speed if he needed to do so.
"Heh, It's nice to meet you too!" Claus raised one forearm and held out the claws as if expecting a handshake.

"Excellent. Would you like to practice?" Asked Sammus. "If it helps you get more used to your new body, it's worth waiting for."
"Awesome, now, let's see if we can find anything in the woods!" Claus said, unhooking his claws from his friend's. He looked around, "Do you have a favored direction?"

Sammus smiled at her companion's enthusiasm. "Alright, let's build your wing muscles!" She looked around, "Normally birds start by branching, but you'll need something bigger than a branch to jump for..."
Claus looked proudly down at his new dragonish form, then turned to his friend. "I'm sure you can get strong too though, even if you're smaller!"

Sammus nodded, "Yeah, that'd work. You know how to branch?" She asked, moving forward to look her companion in the eye.
Claus nodded approvingly, "Now...let's go..." He closed his eyes and whipped his tail around for a bit then holding it still. "That way!" He said looking to the west where his tail was pointing.
