So we know that from the Ivypool's Heart blub, a group of cats that includes Ivypool set out on a quest. There will apparently be five cats in the group.
Any particular hopes for who's included in the group?
I want Dovewing to be there, and I'd really like it if Thriftear and/or Flipclaw went so we could get some nice moments with Ivypool and her two remaining kits(heck, I'd be pleased with Fernsong going, so he could be fleshed out a bit more and we could see more of the IvyFern relationship), but since the group is limited to five cats I assume that's gonna mean one cat from each clan, so I doubt any ThunderClan cat but Ivypool will be going :c |

One from each Clan! My hopes (includes spoilers for the Thunder book and Wind blurb): SkyClan
Rootspring, Needleclaw, Violetshine, Hawkwing or Tree
RiverClan
I don't think anyone officially will because of Splashtail's reign (since the SE takes place at the same time as ASC #6) but maybe Mistpaw or Graypaw could sneak away because they miss their sister and don't want to be in RiverClan because of Splashtail
WindClan
Harestar or Breezepelt (or Whistlepaw since she had the vision)
ShadowClan
Dovewing or Shadowsight
They would need at least one medicine cat. I could see Frostpaw going on the quest with them if she's still seeking refuge in ShadowClan by that point. Even though she's not a healer any more or a RiverClan cat then, she'd still count as both, especially if StarClan insists she come with them due to her being important/special. |

Sky: Rootspring - Makes the most sense and cmon I need more Rootspring scenes Thunder: Nightheart - only if he's tricked into it like how Frostpaw convinced him Thunder Spoilers Twigbranch - Apprentice Mentor bonding time, plus she's also facing trauma from TBC Flipclaw - So he can see his boyfriend in the mountains again, also I think he's funny Sunbeam - She's my favorite character, I'll take anything with her in it Wind: Whistlepaw maybe? Would be nice to let her shine some more for some new WC rep River: Honestly I don't know, maybe one of the new kits if they become apps. Would be kinda weird tho since they'd be so young Shadow: Shadowsight - Might as well bring him along, reunite 2/3 of TBC gang |

Wrenflight, Palesky, any of the SkyClan cats we don’t really know.
Even some of the would be apprentices and their mentors would be interesting choices.
ShadowClan
Flaxfoot, Gullswoop, or Pouncestep. Pouncestep, especially so she can finally have screen-time and it gives Ivypool with a potentially assertive cat to deal with, with her niece. (Instead of the overtly aggressive Tiger clone and passive nephew.)
RiverClan
Really, anyone is a good option here. I’d prefer Frostpaw’s siblings and their mentors though. (especially Graypaw and Breezeheart as it gives them both much needed screentime.)
WindClan
Whistlepaw as it makes sense for her to go as she had the vision. Other than her, any of the WindClan cats post OOTS.
(I’d also prefer cats who haven’t been present in the most recent journeys and former POV characters such as Rootspring, Needleclaw, and Spotfur.)

I really hope that Harestar joins Ivypool on the quest.I hope that the cats who go with her on the quest are cats who haven't gotten much attention instead of cats who had had povs before. It would be nice to have some personality for some of the more background characters |

My possibly controversial take is that I actually would much rather Violetshine go than Rootspring if there's one representative per clan. I think the interaction between the two of them has a lot more potential for being interesting than just "I'm rootspring, and I loved your daughter and I'm sad. Btw. In case you didn't know already." Especially since Violetshine held Rootspring back from jumping in after Bristlefrost. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this was wrong and cruel of her or anything, but even if there was nothing that could be done for bristlefrost I imagine that must still feel horrible to do, especially given that Bristlefrost saved her own son's life at one point.
Aside from that my votes would go to
-Whistlepaw
-Dovewing OR Lightleap. But if it's a tigerdove kit I really want it to be Lightleap specifically. Reluctantly I'll admit Shadowsight isn't a BAD option, necessarily, but I just like Lightleap more and think she has the potential for some really good scenes too.
-Sneezecloud. For sneezcloud reasons
And then Ivypool is ThunderClan, I imagine? But if there were to be another ThunderClan cat tagging along for whatever reason I wouldn't be opposed to one of her remaining kits. Especially if it was between one of her kits or Fernsong. I really don't like Fernsong.

I don't doubt that they'll put Dovewing or someone Tigerkin on the ShadowClan patrol. I can see Icewing from RiverClan, or maybe Graypaw/Mistpaw. As for WindClan, maybe one of Breezepelt or Heathertail's spawns.
