I'm so happy Whistlepaw and WindClan are getting more attention! I'm really curious to see what this "terrible wrong" is- I wonder if it has to do with Skyclan again?

*Super heavy sigh* I seriously doubt we’re getting Ivystar before the next arc. I freaking hate the Erins right now. I don't see how the plot of Ivypool's Heart being about her going on a quest to save other animals immediately has to mean that she could thus not be leader by the end of ASC? This SE will take place at the same time as ASC #6. There are still a few possible outcomes to the ultimate leadership of ThunderClan by the end of this still ongoing arc. Perhaps Squirrelstar will retire on her own, get killed off (which I hope not) while being revealed to not even having gotten nine lives from StarClan or just the latter of those two things. And then Ivypool still can become leader in the actual finale.
I would've really loved to see Ivypool's SE be about her as deputy in ThunderClan and focus on her dealing with her grief over Bristlefrost there while also giving more development and scenes in general to her mate and surviving kits as well as further expand on her strained sisterly relationship with Dovewing while the war with ShadowClan could break out.
But her SE actually taking her away from the action of that to focus on a special quest for her and others is a good way to not lead to this SE (coming out in September of 2024) to thus hopefully not spoiler too much of what happens in ASC #6 (coming out in November 2024). Like what happened with Tigerheart's Shadow and River of Fire spoiling his ascend to leadership in his SE before the fifth AVoS book came out to also reveal it.
But you're allowed to be frustrated, of course. I'll just stay positive about Ivypool still having the chance to become leader by the end of ASC instead until either the celebratory or bitter end/reveal.

I love it when WindClan gets attention!
I'm wondering which creatures have a connection to the clans... At first I thought Midnight, but she's not exactly living.
Hmm.. intriguing.

Very interesting. Five cats, so probably one from each Clan? Rootspring is SkyClan's rep? And honestly this does seem like they could be setting up bringing Bristlefrost back, unfortunately (I really feel like that's the case because they say this SE sets up the stage for the next Super Edition, which could be about either Rootpsring or Bristlefrost herself. It feels kind of odd to have an Ivypool story without any intent of bringing her lost daughter back at all. I don't think it's definitely going to happen, but it feels pretty likely. But I'd love to be proven wrong).

Hmm this is an interesting one, it's still a journey book, but it has a lot of new flare and mystery surrounding it. New elements in general, I wonder what they'll see when they get to their destination.
I will say, I still hope Ivypool steps up as leader by the end of the arc, or into the arc after though. At least this book will give us more development of her character alone.

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds kinda boring? The “strange animals” bit might be interesting, but it sounds like we have to suffer through yet another journey plot for the third SE in a row. I’m over them.

I’m over them. I feel like it could still be interesting depending on who goes with Ivypool on the quest. But travelling books in general can be such a hit or miss in this series so we shall see how it turns out next year.

I've never been so excited reading a Warriors blurb. Not because I care for Ivypool being made a 'star or anything, but because it said 'strange creatures'.
I imagined horrid, monstrous hybrids (more fantasy leaning) that are in danger or something. Though I highly doubt it will actually happen.
As someone said above I think a circus is a brilliant and would be interesting to read. Some other, smaller wild cats could be interesting. Such as Caracals or Servals would be fun [another low possibility].
More than likely I suspect it is a badger, maybe even a snake. [Anyone remember the snake from the myths?] This is probably where we'll get the 'naming of Arc 9' warriors character introduced...maybe.

You can read it here. Copied under the spoiler.
Fan favorite Ivypool takes center stage in Ivypool's Heart—a thrilling, super-long standalone adventure in Erin Hunter’s #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series!
It’s been many moons since Ivypool lost her daughter, Bristlefrost, to the Dark Forest, yet Ivypool can’t bear to move on. Even being named Deputy of ThunderClan feels meaningless in her grief.
When Whistlepaw has a disturbing vision—one that could spell disaster for all the Clans—a group of cats is selected to go on a quest to investigate. Ivypool is happy to join their mission. Perhaps being away from her daily responsibilities will help her escape the painful memory of Bristlefrost’s death.
The cats set out on an arduous journey, facing everything from painful hunger to bloodthirsty dogs. But nothing can prepare them for what they find: a disgusting twoleg den that’s caging a series of strange animals, including two who may have surprising ties to the Clans.
In order to complete their quest and right a terrible wrong that goes back generations, the five Clan cats must help these creatures find their true home. But first, Ivypool must let go of the past, and her grief, if she is to have any hope of ensuring a future for the Clans—and for herself.
LET'S GO IVYSTAR IS WELL ON IT'S WA-HAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

All I really dislike right now is the title. We already have Spottedleaf's Heart so having another "(character)+heart" title feels weird especially with all the variety. Ivypool's Voyage I think would sound cool and be fitting
ANYWAY HOLDING OUT HOPE THE SUSPICIOUS ANIMALS ARE LIKE WILD CATS BEING HELD AS DOMESTIC ANIMALS BC MANY HUMANS ARE IRRESPONSIBLE AND WE HAVEN'T HAD REFERENCE TO LARGE CATS SINCE LONGTAIL WAY BACK WHEN... it wouldn't even have to be a lion or tiger- maybe a small African wild cat being held by twolegs captive.

SH taints the Heart usage so having a different character and book without those themes would be better. Plus secret has been used at least twice.

I think something like Loss or Grief could be fitting, or Odyssey could work too since it’s similar to Voyage except doesn’t have to involve boats.

I'm really excited for this one! First off, the mention of Ivypool having to let go of her past and grief implies to be that Bristlefrost is staying dead, and I am so relived that's the case. I always hated the idea of cats that "permadied" coming back becasue that would make the concept of spirit death pointless. Also it just makes Briss's sacrifice feel pointless in general.
Very curious about Whistlepaw's vision, and I'm happy to see her be relevant in general. I'd like to see either her or Harestar go on the mission. Or maybe both of them? I'd love Harestar to get some more relevance too, or some other cats we haven't seen much to go on the quest, like any background cats, Sneezecloud (I don't have a reason for this, I just want him to), or Frostpaw's siblings.
The mentions of "painful hunger" and "bloodthirsty dogs" (especially the latter) make me feel like someone is going to die. I feel like if they would kill of anyone, it one be one of the less relevant characters. (I would cry if they killed off one of Frostpaw's siblings. Please no, she's already been through enough!)
I actually think the twoleg den is a "Tiger King" situation, or a bunch of exotic animals are being hoarded in a home. It reminds me of Graystripe's vow where the elderly lady was hoarding cats. I also think the "strange animals" are big cats like lions or tigers, and are the descents of the ancient clans. (I know they were stated to be purely mythological at some point, but I wouldn't be surprised if the new team retconned them into actually being real the whole time considering Redtail's debt exists.)
Also, I LOVE the concept of the cats meeting and communicating with other big cats. The only other big cat we've been before was Sharptooth, who wasn't sentient at all. Most other animal's we've seen that can talk are violent and antagonistic.
