Wolfspirit padded into camp and saw Brackenstar moving about shortly after. He headed over, dipping his head to the leader. "You'll be happy to hear that nothing out of the ordinary has been reported by any of the patrols yet today," he said. Robinpaw nodded in agreement with Aspenpaw. "It's very nice and cool here," she said. Shadewing waited until the apprentices were done talking before speaking. "Alright, let's get started," she meowed, clawing at a patch of moss. "That's good. How's the fresh-kill pile looking?" He asked. |

All of a sudden the moss tore apart from where it was growing and came off, sending Pinepaw tumbling backwards with quite a bit still in his mouth.
"The fresh kill pile is looking fine," Wolfspirit meowed. "Several cats have gone out hunting today."

Pinepaw sat up, shaking out his pelt. He blinked a few times, looking at the clump of moss they had torn off. 'We did it!" he said eventually, laughing.

Aspenpaw bit her lip to keep silent, glancing away from him with amusement in her eyes. She batted the Moss over to Pinepaw, turning back to her original moss clump.

Shadewing and Robinpaw had pulled off the piece they were working on, and were both pulling out separate clumps now.
Pinepaw padded back to the stump and attempted to pull off the remaining moss.

Aspenpaw diligently worked at the moss around her, gathering a nice sized pile. "Robinpaw? What was your favorite game as a kit?" She asked curiously, tired of the silence.

Aspenpaw smiled slightly at her "I tried to every time but Amberwave caught me without fail" She said, amused. Amberwave, who was Amberpaw at the time kept an eye on her like a Hawk.

Emberleaf went and placed the leaf she was carrying the poppy seeds on in the back of her herbs, and then she decided to check out what was on the freshkill pile. She grabbed a mouse and sat down to eat it. As she ate her mind drifted off. Soon it would be time to bring Timberpaw to meet StarClan and make him her official medicine cat apprentice.

"Well, if there's one thing I've learned it's that kits aren't as clever as they may think," Shadewing meowed, jumping into the conversation. "I was your age when my brother was a kit, he always thought he was so clever," she added with a laugh.
