Pinepaw shrugged. "Maybe," he said.

Shadewing then padded over to the apprentices. "Could you three possibly help me get some new moss for the dens?" she asked.

Robinpaw nodded, and stood up.

Timberpaw nodded and dipped his head, gathering the bark and the leaves in his jaws.

Aspenpaw glanced at the two, amused before padding after the older warrior. "Is it really time to switch out the nests?" She mused to herself, loud enough where others would hear her.

Lillyflame padded into camp with a fish in her mouth that she dropped on the fresh kill pile.

Lillyflame nodded to her and selected a plump vole for her taking. She than began to eat it up.

"Over this way, I saw a lot on the way back from hunting earlier," Shadewing meowed. She led the apprentices through the trees, seeming to be heading in the direction of the river.

"How was the hunting out there?" Moonflame asked.

"Ah, here we are," Shadewing said after the group padded on for a little while longer. It was a very shady area, with lots of moss and ferns growing around tree trunks.

Aspenpaw glanced around, immediately at ease around the ferns. "I like it here.." she murmured to herself, smiling slightly.

Amberwave sat in the shade of camp, her tail flicking back and forth in a lazy manor. She was trying to stay awake but the camp was quiet and the sun warm.

Timberpaw nodded. "Thanks, Emberleaf!" He purred, padding out of the medicine den with a tail flick of a goodbye and exited camp, glancing around for some old log that cobwebs were plentiful. The young apprentice didn't have to go far before spotting one, crouching down and purred in satisfaction, reaching out and clawing the cobwebs from underneath, hissing as a spider crawled frantically out of it and startling him. Stepping on it with contempt the apprentice continued his work until he had a good clump of cobwebs and walked back into camp. "Here you go!" Timberpaw meowed cheerfully, putting it down in it's spot. "I had to fight a spider to get that." He joked.

Timberpaw dipped his head and cheerfully exited the den, spotting a vole on the fresh-kill pile and purred in satisfaction, grabbing it and settling down, taking a bite and enjoying the warm taste.

Wolfspirit padded into camp and saw Brackenstar moving about shortly after. He headed over, dipping his head to the leader. "You'll be happy to hear that nothing out of the ordinary has been reported by any of the patrols yet today," he said.

Robinpaw nodded in agreement with Aspenpaw. "It's very nice and cool here," she said.

Shadewing waited until the apprentices were done talking before speaking. "Alright, let's get started," she meowed, clawing at a patch of moss.

Pinepaw padded up to a tree trunk with a good sized clump growing beside it and stretched out both front legs. He gripped one side of it with his claws and pulled hard, though the moss only moved not even an inch.

With the next attempt, Pinepaw grabbed it with his teeth as well and pulled. The moss gave way a little more, but it was clear it was going to take a while.

Robinpaw and Shadewing were working on the same patch. Robinpaw was clawing at the clump while Shadewing was pulling on it.

Pinepaw noticed Aspenpaw beside him and paused. "Thanks," he murmured before pulling at the moss again. With the added effort from his fellow apprentice, the moss was coming off more easily now.
