What are your thoughts on this? I wouldn't mind a novella for this from Tigerheart's POV, but a whole Super Edition? I really wanted Half Moon to get the next one, or the Ancient Tribe in general. :/
They really don't need a full blown Super Edition, and since Kate's writing SE 10, I don't think she's joking. She posted this comment after someone asked for clarification: "Iโm not saying anything *walks away whistling innocently*"
Either way, I just hope that it's long after the end of AVOS if it has to happen. :/
I'll ask her tonight about it.

I would be ok with a SE on Tigerheart, but not him and Dovewing. We already had her as a POV, we already saw her growing up.
But even a Tigerheart SE would probably give me a headache. Pre-Dovewing would be interesting- but once he meets her it'll be Spottedleaf 2.0.

I'd be fine with a novella or maybe a short story, but that's it. Their love story was already told in OotS and should've just been wrapped up then and there. It doesn't need to go on for another arc, much less get its own SE.
If we're going to get an SE focusing on the modern cats again, at least give it to someone like maybe Blackstar or, heck even Onestar. I'll even take one for BeechxGorse if it has to focus on a couple. Really, anything would be better than just giving an unnecessary SE to a couple who broke up ages ago and should've gotten on with their lives by now!
Rant aside, I find it hilarious that Kate even suggested such a thing considering last I checked, she hates Tigerheart.

I want Onestar to get the super edition. Tigerheart and Dovewing pretty much made showcases everything that is wrong with the millennials today.

I want it to be set after avos is over and not have any flashbacky business, but... I lovewing Dovewing. I would read any book with Dovewing as a character.

I mean why though Dovewing has enough spotlight already unless it has Two Povs instead of one like one chapter be about Tigerheart the other on Dovewing I'd read that because it be different some what and we get a Shadowclan Super Edition in a way but I wouldn't mind a Onestar one either. |

What the frick? Tiger x Dove is one of the most (imo) annoying pairings of the series. It barely deserved 6 books of focus, let alone all the implications in BrS and AVoS. I wouldn't want a novella on them, let alone a SE. I doubt there's enough new or soon-to-be new content to cover 500 pages!

That's a very misguided idea. Aside from not even being an interesting concept, it could make further SEs follow similar paths. Let's just hope that they'll change their minds.

Why do we need a book on something we've already read about? Even if they add Tigerheart's POV, the story idea is going to be rather boring as we already know what's going to happen.
Unless the book is actually on Tigerheart and what is happening in ShadowClan all through OOTS and his relationship with Dovewing is just a side plot... That might give us the character building of ShadowClan that quite a few of the fans want.

If they do get a SE, I'm hoping it will be set far into the future. Like they're both way older now, like maybe ten years old. Tigerheart is the leader of ShadowClan, and it shows how the Clans are far in the future and how they've changed after AVOS.
