The moonstone looks super pretty, very smooth, and round compared to how is was depicted in the mangas.
Also, Princess's face when she looks at the bird...adorable.

Hoping we'll eventually get some sneak peeks from the Fire and Ice portion of the book soon too. So far, it's only Into the Wild scenes. Since it was confirmed in the Edelweiss blurb that the first TPB GN volume would cover both books of that arc. Thank you for sharing these on here, Leonard ! How interesting that they seem to have switched out Smudge with Princess when he meets someone from his former life as a kittypet again as an apprentice in ItW (since he tells her his name is Firepaw not Fireheart, even though Princess only met him again when he was already a warrior in the original version of FaI). Not sure why or if this somehow means that Princess has completely taken over Smudge's place/scenes besides her own in the first arc of if he'll just show up again later on as well. But anyways, I'm really digging the art of the moonpool with Tigerclaw's shadowy silhouette in the front and will use it as my pfp asap! The Rusty vs Longtail fight shot is still epic though but I just prefer this color scheme more.  |

I wasn't expecting Princess to take over Smudge's role from ITW. That's interesting. Hopefully Smudge still gets to appear. |

If they are making small changes like introducing Princess earlier, this is a prime opportunity to make RavenpawxBarley actually exist in the books.

I love the detail that Firepaw and Tigerclaw have shocked reactions to the moonstone, but Bluestar is chill with it cause she's seen it before.
Also I'm not a FireGray shipper, but y'all won with the second image.
(every day I wake up and more panels are posted and yet NONE OF THEM have my boy in them. where is he. what did they do to him)
