I just finished A Guide to the Dragon World yesterday and I LOVED it! I had wanted some sort of WoF guide book for a while, and this def delivered for me!
Have you read the book yet? If so, which tribe's section was your favorite? Which story/excerpt/insert was your favorite? Which of the new artworks was your fav? Did any of the never-before-seen characters grab your interest in particular?
My fav tribe section...has honestly gotta be the MudWings. Maybe it's because we haven't had any major focus on MudWing culture since literally the very first book and it left me starved for more MudWing content, but I really enjoyed everything we got here. It was great to see history about blood-red eggs, and ESPECIALLY great to finally have light shed on The MudWing Succession Crisis; that was something I had been hoping for more info about for ages.
My fav of the stories/excerpts was the ancient RainWing letter one and the one about the IceWing villages. It was sooo cool to see a glimpse of how RainWings used to be so long ago, and I liked finally getting some info about the outer IceWing settlements.
My fav of the artworks was the one of Queen Coral and the one of Queen Sequoia and Hazel! I also liked the art of Sundew and Willow's little frog sculpture lol
As for the characters...Queen Jacaranda and her reign and decisions being what made the RainWings transition into being a far more peaceful and pacifist tribe will now forever occupy a space in my mind. Legends book starring Jacaranda when
