I've heard that a few people want her as deputy. Well, I don't think that's possible. I think that Rowanstar thinks she's disloyal, especially because he's called her that multiple times. "Maybe she'll get it because they're mates?" You may ask. I honestly don't think that they are technically mates anymore.

I agree. She also never seemed to be interested in such a position or show leadership skills. I think she's content with being a senior warrior.
I think a major thing against her is the fact she goes to ThunderClan when things are going terribly wrong in ShadowClan. While it's understandable and smart from her POV it also shows her Clanmates that she isn't going to stick by them no matter what happens.

I think they are still mates, and she probably isn't deputy because of how old she is. She is about 10 years old.

Did something happen that would make you assume that Rowan and Tawny aren't mates anymore? Honestly, I was wondering if they would break up over Tawnypelt going to Bramblestar in Bramblestar's Storm. He was really angry and I just imagined that it'd be difficult to have the leaders mate setting a bad example which would lead to them arguing a lot. |
