Blue Lions
Nobles: 3, Commoners: 7 Major Crests: 3, Minor Crests: 2
House Leader:
Fion Lamaire | 18 | Male | Blue Lions | Noble | Major Crest of Lamaire | Fion is about 5’10 with ruffled salt-white hair, pale skin and a delicate, fine-boned face. He has central heterochromia, his eyes a clear frosty blue, a thin band of gold around the pupil. Ironically, considering his proficiency in white magic, his pallid complexion paired with his snowy hair often makes him look a little unwell. He wears the standard uniform of Garreg Mach Monastery’s academy accompanied by a sweeping kingfisher-blue cloak that hangs off his right shoulder and reaches down to his knee in length. Sheathed at his waist is a kindjal-like dagger called Ambergris, an old family heirloom that his father implored Fion to take with him. It has a round piece of amber set into the hilt, engraved with the Lamaire crest. This blade doesn’t see much use, however, it is always on his person. | Interests: feeding the cats of the monastery, reading. | Likes: quiet nights, cats, floral teas. | Dislikes: concerning others, physical activity, headaches. | On the quieter side, gentle and soft-spoken, Fion isn’t quite what the people of Faerghus expected from their future king. Indeed, he is the first crowned prince of The Holy Kingdom to specialise in the healing arts and not warfare, although he does know his way around a sword thanks to the combat instructors of the palace. As such, the notion of his rule has been met with no small amount of consternation from minor lord and general public alike. Regardless of the current king, his father's, efforts to mitigate the people’s concerns, there are some who still call for the prince’s sister to take the throne in his stead. Despite his outwardly mild temperament, Fion can be rather stubborn when he wants to be and does not lack for self-awareness of the people’s doubts. He works hard to show that he can make a good king for the kingdom without the need of the cold steel and iron that has defended Faerghus for many an age. At heart, he is a pragmatist, intelligent and able to focus on the small details of a situation though this also leaves him prone to overthinking. Perhaps as a result of other’s perceptions of him, he tries ardently to hide his concerns from everyone around him apart from those he cares for most, those who would not believe him anyway. Ever since he was young he would suffer from chronic headaches when stressed, something he still deals with today. Because of this, has a habit of massaging his temples. Towards people he dislikes, he tends to merely show indifference, possessing something of a cold streak beneath his winning manners. | Son to the current king, Cathval, and queen, Riona, of The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. He has a 15 year old sister named Alaris, who is training to be a pegasus knight. | Before coming to the monastery, Fion did a short term at the Royal School of Sorcery in Fhirdiad. His strengths are in faith, reason and sword, whilst his weaknesses are brawling, axe and heavy armour. | Sussuru | Professor:
Konstantin Lukyan Fedorov | 31 | Male | Blue Lions | War Master | No Crest | Konstantin is a tall man with long dark brown hair that he usually ties into a pony tail. He has grey eyes. The armor he usually wears is similar to that of the knights, only much darker. | Konstantin is polite and respectful but also very strict to his students. He demands a lot of them but only because he knows what they are capable of. Every now and then he might actually crack a joke and he's not as unapproachable as he seems at first glance. He doesn't praise others often but when he does they can at least be sure that he truly means it and he likes to brag about his students as long as he thinks they're not around to listen. | Konstantin is very curious about other cultures so he enjoys talking to students from other houses and other countries. He's also interested in hunting. BeinStudents:g also interested in plants he can often be seen at the greenhouse. | Konstantin enjoys competition, making him participate in any tournament he's allowed to. It's also why he loves the Mock Battle and the Battle of the Eagle and Lion. He also enjoys socializing with the other church staff. | He has a small but not insignificant disdain for crests but keeps it to himself for his student's sake. Another thing he can't stand is cooking as he's absolutely hopeless when it comes to that. He doesn't like when people don't try their hardest as he hates nothing more than seeing potential being wasted. | His father is Demyan Khariton Fedorov and his mother's name is Yelena Inessa Fedorov. He has a younger brother, Alyosha Daniil Fedorov. | Born into a noble family Konstantin's path in live should have been set. Unfortunately he was born without the crest of Fedorov, much to his parent's shame and disappointment. Two years later his brother, Alyosha, was born. Demyan and Yelena greatly favored their second son but still made sure that both sons would get the best education. In his younger days Konstantin resented his brother and tried to outdo him at everything. He learned that there were things he was better at than Alyosha, despite having no crest. Gaining confidence from that knowledge he became a little friendlier towards his brother and began to help him train. They both studied at Garreg Mach, the younger one to become the next head of house Fedorov and the older to become a knight. Learning with his classmates however made him discover his love for training and teaching others, as he would usually help his friends when they were struggling with something. Years after graduating he came back to the monastery to become a professor. | His strengths are Brawling, Authority and Lance. His Weaknesses are Sword, Bow and Flying. His family is in possession of the bow Hunter's Eye. | Pineclaw | Students:
Pierce Einar | 15 | Male | Blue Lions | Noble | Major Crest of Fleur | Pierce is a short blonde haired boy with hazel eyes. He wears black rimmed glasses, being near blind without them. | Pierce is a kind hearted boy most of the time. He tries to help those that are less fortunate, something that he takes after his mother. Pierce can sometimes look down on nobles that are born without a crest, for they are often seen as being useless in the noble families. He is unaware of his heritage however, which causes him to speak ill of Gallio. He often can be seen in the library as he wants to know more about the empire and alliance. He is bad at socializing or reading social ques as he had lived a secluded life, resulting in him having little social interactions with others outside of his family. | Lord Einar (adoptive father, grandfather), Gallio (father), Callisto (adoptive older sister, aunt), Nadir(mother, deceased), Jian (adoptive mother, grandmother), Open to crushes. | Pierce's interests are in magic and researching about the other surrounding lands. | Pierce has a liking to fish, often down by the dock near the cafeteria observing the fish. He enjoys competitions and tournaments, such as the fishing tournament that it held and some of the tournaments held in the training area, though for most of those he goes to watch and support his housemates. He likes to go to the days that there is a fish meal. | Pierce was adopted by the Einar family, being the child of the lord’s family and a servant. At first he was to be killed but when it was revealed he had a crest, his life was spared. He never knew of his true father, believing it to be Lord Einar. His true father was however was exiled from the family and the servant that was his mother got killed. He was often secluded to being in the Einar House. He was perceived as being the miracle child Nadir had in her late age. When he was let out, it was when he was in the company of one of the servants or Callisto. Pierce often tried his best to live up to the expectations that would be thrown on to him, but it seemed not to be enough to impress his grandfather. Pierce was often alone when he wasn't out of the house or in training, no one in the family wanting to socialize with him. | Ember34 | Imrie Singh | 16 | Female | Blue Lions | Commoner | Minor Crest of Cavalor | She has medium length white hair. She has brown eyes. She often wears a flower in her hair, the type and color varying. | Imrie is one not to joke around choosing to remain serious. She can relax at times though, namely when things are peaceful around her. She has a habit of keeping things that bug her to herself. | Imrie has an interest in learning more about the kingdom with it being neighboring to her home country. She has an interest in futhering her knowledge of the Church of Serios and of magic, both were things that weren't taught in her clan. | Imrie loves flowers finding their colors pretty and enjoying their fragrance. She loves magic and faith related tactics, liking how it can be used in offensive and defensive measures. She likes going to events held in the church. She will usually go to the days soup and stew is being served. | She holds a strong dislike for people that don't take things seriously as she finds it hard to respect them. She dislikes wasting time, she will skip the dance for example. She dislikes being looked down on for her heritage and will not hesitate to silence anyone that looks down on her. | Quyana (mother), Morwag (father), Leth (younger brother), Fal (younger brother), Terys (cousin), Berlotte (aunt) | Imrie comes from a clan in the Sreng country, her clan didn't have Taguel present in it. She was thrown into battle training when she was old enough to hold a sword. She wasn’t part of the nobility of the clan so when she was a born with a crest, her heritage was immediately questioned, but soon was left alone. Imrie trained with other crest bearers in her clan. She was among the few that were accepted into the Officer's Academy from her clan. | Ember34 | Agnar Víðir Elvarsson | 17 | Male | Blue Lions | Commoner | Major Crest of Úlfur | Agnar is a tall boy with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He wears the fang of a wolf as a pendant. | A quiet and somewhat introverted boy who looks like he's hard to approach. But anyone who actually tries to talk to him will find out that he's a pretty friendly guy who quickly warms up to others. He can be quite talkative, especially when something has sparked his interest. Agnar takes most of the school subjects seriously but doesn't really give it his all when it's time to practice flying or horseback riding as he finds it useless, at least as far as his own skills and interests are concerned. He finds himself wanting to look out for others, especially those younger than him, and will gladly help them with training or studying. He doesn't think much of the church but tries to keep that to himself but every now and then he makes snide remarks about the overly faithful ones who, in his opinion, can't think for themselves. | Agnar is interested in hunting and magic but also in battle practice. | Agnar enjoys strategic board games. As for food, he absolutely loves sweets. He often carries around a sketchbook and draws anything he deems interesting. He's doing that for Isak, his younger brother, who wants to travel the world one day. | While he doesn't dislike horses, pegasi and wyverns he absolutely hates flying or riding. Hailing from the cold country of Albinea he also hates hot days. | Agnar is the eldest son of Elvar Dagur Gunnarsson and Andrea Lára Einarsdottir. He has a younger brother, Isak Leifur Elvarsson, who's four years younger than him. Open to crushes. | Agnar was born and raised in Albinea, his family being normal hunters. Because of his crest though they are well-respected. His wolf-fang pendant isn't from an ordinary wolf. He made one for himself and one for his brother, using two fangs of a Giant Wolf - a demonic beast. They had ran into it on one of their hunts. He doesn't bring the story up often since he knows that this particular wolf wasn't fully grown yet and therefore no where near as strong as other demonic beasts. He likes to think about it, though, whenever he is faced with an exceptionally strong opponent. He's been to the Kingdom of Faerghus many times for trading. During those days he also visited his father's friend, Neil Sheridan, an inn keeper, and his own best friend Faolán and helped out at the inn. It was Neil who suggested sending him off to Garreg Mach, saying that the staff there would be very interested in Agnar's crest. | His strengths are in Bow, Sword and Brawl. His weaknesses are in Riding, Flying and Lance. Has a talent for Reason. His crest allows him to wield the sword Gieremund. | Pineclaw | Luca Averin | 18 | Male | Blue Lions | Dancer | Minor Crest of Rasch | Luca stands at a relatively average height of 5'7", though he insists he's at least 5'8" and has the lean but built body of a dancer. He has long and strong arms and legs and a natural grace to him. This grace likely coming from his mothers side. His hair is naturally neat with sideswept bangs and cut slightly longer, but not reaching past his chin. Lucas' hair is a black color and his eyes are blue. He wears fingerless black wraps that start wrapping around his middle finger and go over his palms, running up his arms likes sleeves that end in golden cuffs on his upper arms. He has scars that wind around his wrists and up his forearms from a surgery many years ago. | Interests: Performances, knife throwing, music. | Likes: Dancing, sweets, long rides. | Dislikes: Mathematics, exhaustion, bugs. | Luca has a rather flirtatious and playboy attitude. He's relatively easy to get along with, but his attitude rubs many people the wrong way. As charming as he's been told he is, Luca incredibly bad with boundaries and has more than once been threatened away. | His mother died when he was in his early teens, and his father is unknown. But the fact he has a crest does give some hints as to who he may be. Luca is close with a group of dancers his mother worked with and who raised him after her death. | His strength is in charisma, sword, and riding while his weaknesses are in axe, heavy armor, and bow. | 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 | Rieka Marrok | 19 | Female | Blue Lions | Wolfskin | No Crest | a 5’3 tall girl with shoulder-length charcoal-coloured hair parted by two large and equally charcoal-coloured wolf ears. She has clear blue eyes set in a dainty, but serious face. Her uniform is of the standard variety albeit with modifications that allow for her tail. Across the palm of her right hand is a long, ragged scar she received from a poacher when a group of them once encroached on her territory. | Rieka is blunt, having no troubles speaking her mind be it to a commoner or a noble. This can, at times, cause her to seem cold, however she doesn’t dislike the company of others. Rather, she has a good sense of humour despite her outwardly serious demeanour. She enjoys spending time around the people of Fódlan and learning about their culture even if she doesn’t quite understand all of their customs. Something she isn’t quite so fond of is physical affection from people she doesn’t know well; any attempts to impose such on her will result in her flashing her fangs. A trait that has served Rieka well both before and after arriving at the academy is her uncanny ability to notice small changes in her surroundings. Her sharp senses and observant nature often make her the first to notice danger. Ordinarily, Rieka is dutiful, completing her duties with efficiency, but on the hotter days of the year, she’ll rarely be seen outside the dormitories, choosing instead to sleep it off. On days like that, she’d only leave her room if the world was ending … and maybe not even then. | Interests: hunting, gardening. | Likes: the flowers in the greenhouse, cold weather, the moon, howling. | Dislikes: hot weather, discrimination against her kind, physical affection from strangers, poachers. | Alarick Marrok, her father, and Lyfing Marrok, her mother. | Rieka hails from the largest tribe of Wolfskin in Albinea. As the daughter of the tribe’s chief, Alarick, she is expected to take over when he steps down. This is one of two reasons why she is attending the academy this year - to gain the authority needed to lead the rest of the Wolfskin. The other reason is to help foster friendly relations between her people and Fódlan as well as the Kitsune and Taguel. Not being from an area that has a house tied to it, she chose the Blue Lions out of a preference for the colder weather of Faerghus and a wish to learn brawling from Professor Konstantin. While Rieka does not need proficiency with weapons to fight well, her interest in brawling arose from a desire to have a weapon she could use in her ‘human’ form should she not have access to her beaststone. | Sussuru | Jason Hubdel (Aeschylus <- what his father and other Agarthans reference to him as) | 16 | Male | Blue Lions | Commoner | No Crest | Jason has wild blue hair that cover his ears. It gets darker as it reachs the ends. He has bright hazel eyes with darker flecks of gold scattered through out them. Jason has pale skin, from being from the kingdom. He has a scar across the bridge of his nose. He is short for his age. | Jason suffers with self esteem and self worth. Which leads to him jumping at every chance to prove himself. He has a big heart, offering to help anyone that needs it, as it is just part of his nature and it is his chance to prove his worth. He tends to be a loner in social settings, as he is afraid of making people think less of him should he attempt to put himself out there. He adores his family and what few friends he does have, but fears that one day he will do something that makes them think less of him. | Jason holds an interest in the Agarthans and their culture but is unable to look into it without raising suspicion and due to their being no resources on them. He has an interest in continuing horse riding and magic, but does hold an interest in sword. | Jason loves snow. He enjoys stargazing and learning the constellations. He enjoys spending time in the stables, namely with his horse. He likes to climb trees when he has the free time to do so. | Jason dislikes being underestimated, and won't hesitate to show them wrong. He hates when he is overlooked and seen as less than others, due to being from a commoner family and his other half heritage. Jason dislikes warm weather like most from the kingdom. Jason dislikes loud people. He also has a dislike towards people taller than him, just due to feeling intimidated. Jason also dislikes letting down the people he cares about. | Neither (mother), Berenike (father), Keres (older adoptive sister) | Jason was born in an experiment between Meribeth, a human, and Berenike, a Agarthan. The experiment was to see if the two kinds could mix to make it easier to infiltrate the surface dewellers to destroy them. Jason did not inherit the abilities of an Agarthan, which caused for Berenike to abandon his mother and him, as Jason was seemed a failure and not worth the Agarthans time. He tried desperately to get some form of contact from his father to no avail. Till he was accepted into the Officer's Academy. Then when his father finally sent a letter asking to meet with him before he went. He obeyed with hope that he would finally be able to have a relationship with his parent. He was told about the fact that beastkins among other outsiders were being let in, and his job was to spy on his outsider/beastkin housemates and report anything to his father or the others. | He has strengths in horse riding and magic with a weakness is faith and lance. | Ember34 | Larissa "Lara" Doherty | 16 | Female | Blue Lions | Commoner | No Crest | Larissa has medium length green hair and amber eyes. She's about average height. | Larissa is usually a friendly and empathetic person who understands other people's thoughts and feelings pretty well. She also likes to stick to her morals and has a strong aversion to fighting. Despite that she will do what's necessary but if given the choice she'll try to choose the lesser evil. Larissa often worries about getting used to all the fighting and killing, fearing that one day she may no longer feel bad for it. The thought that she could become an "uncaring and coldhearted monster" terrifies her. At the same time she is also afraid of dying herself, especially so far away from Brigid. Not wanting the others to look down on her for it or worse, pity her, and also to try and cope with her brother's death and her own mortality she picked up the habit of looking for something funny in almost everything. A habit that often conflicts with her thoughtfulness, causing her to make jokes even when she knows that it is anything but appropriate at the moment. | Larissa is greatly interested in the flora an fauna of Fódlan. She can also often be found in the library, mainly to read some books about philosophy. Like many other people in Brigid she knows quite a bit about shamanism and spirits. | Greatly enjoys spending time with animals. She also likes to train with others. She loves the warmer months of the year. | She strongly dislikes ruthlessness but understands that it's necessary sometimes. Lara isn't too fond of the Adrestian Empire. She also can't stand cold weather, making her also sort of dislike Faerghus. Another reason she doesn't like the Kingdom too much is how they glorify knights who would gladly throw their lives away for their liege. Hates missions that are too risky and she's super uncomfortable when anyone talks about death. | Her father is Cahir Doherty and her mother's name is Derval. She had a twin brother named Thiemo. | Larissa and her older twin brother Thiemo were born in the capital of Brigid. The twins and two other children were soon trained to be bodyguards to the prince. When he was sent to Fódlan, officially as a token of allegiance but secretly as a hostage to prevent Brigid from trying to attack the empire again, Larissa and the others were ordered to accompany him. During their stay in Adrestia Thiemo died on a hunt, causing Larissa to become aware of her own mortality and to adopt a more humorous world-view in order to cope with everything. She was later chosen to attend the Officers Academy, mainly so she would receive better training while people from the Empire could keep an eye on her in case she tried to turn against them but another reason why she, above the other "guests" from Brigid, was picked for this is to give her a distraction to help her get over her brother's death.| Her strengths are in Lance, Sword and Heavy Armor. Her weaknesses are in Authority, Bow and Riding. Has a talent for Brawl. | Pineclaw | Juris Rollins | 17 | Male | Blue Lions | Wolfskin | Crestless | A pale boy, who's skin is unnaturally white, allowing him to be able to blend in with snow with ease. He has snow white hair with charcoal black eyes. The only ounce of color is his black ears, that have white ear tips, and a black fluffy tail. He has sharp canines bordering being fangs. Juris | Juris is a complex boy, with his emotions never seeming easy to predict, one moment he is calm and collected the next he can be an absolute monster. He has a short temper, which grows shorter around those he finds to be an idiot. Juris does love a good joke though, and often joins in on them, or even helps to make new ones. He can be protective of weak people, and tends to keep an eye out for them even when they have grown strong. Juris cant stand being looked down on, and tends to react negatively. He has no respect for the knights of serios finding them to be nothing more then children that never grew up, and often acts rudely to them. Juris is cautious, preferring to watch before acting. | Colm(father), Itlez(younger sister), Aija(younger sister), Ginta(older brother), Mace(mother, deceased) | Juris is second born of his siblings, and right away he was not on good footing with Ginta, with his older brother constantly harassing him, even at one point breaking his first bow, but his mother had taught him how to make a new one. As he got older his and Ginta's relationship continued to disintegrate, as Ginta grew more resentful of him, and soon of there other siblings. Juris eventually when he got old enough, would be taken out on hunting patrols for his tribe. During one training session with others, including the next leader, Tahvo, he saw the crest of the heir activate. He is weary to be around Tahvo in training and in battle as a result of knowing of the other wolfskin's crest. | Juris like snow and hunting, with them being his favorite thing to do in his tribe. He loves bows, and enjoys learning as much as he can about them, his prize possession is the bow he made himself. He likes to watch the stars, and map out his location by using them as his guide. He often likes to go out on night hunts. Juris dislikes the knights, and anyone that likes them as a result. He dislikes people that pretend to be someone else, but mostly the manipulative or people pleaser kind, as he finds them to be fake. Juris has a very strong hatred for Ambrose, and often attacks the knight at the smallest provoking. He dislikes Ginta. he has a small fear of crests, simply from not knowing much about them. | Juris has strength with a bow, sword and brawl. He has weakness with faith magic, reason magic and riding. Her attitude is sometimes considered improper. Despite this, she's relatively easy to get along with as long as you don't rub her the wrong way. She loves a good fight, and often bonds best with people who are able to match her ability and give her a good fight. Silke is highly individualistic and doesn't view others on rank alone. Rather she judges people on their ability. Compared to others in her family she's blockheaded and quick to jump into the fray without thinking. | Elke Haas (mother), Klaus Haas (father), Lena Haas (younger sister). Her mother is still young, so it's not expected for her to take the throne for a while. The relic connected to their crest is called The Revenier Gem. | Silke has a lot of promise, and her family expects great things from her, applying pressure where she perhaps doesn't need it. He was born with the crest of the Deus family, which made him a black sheep in the Amos family. He was hidden away and the only interaction he got was with servants but even those were limited. When he was old enough he had gotten sent off to the Officer's Academy. There he had to learn the basics and was behind all of his classmates, including ones from other houses. Which is what caused for him to overwork himself in order to catch up. | Specializes in axe, sword and riding. Weak in brawl, magic and authority. As her family ran things differently, that a girl born with a crest would be the head of the family. This caused for her brother Osoric to be resentful while he was the second born son he had a crest, but was not allowed to be the head of the family when it was time to be taken over. Elara hid her crest from her brother till she admitted to him in a letter that she had a crest. He told their parents of course which caused for their relationship to become strained. Osoric exiled himself from the family, after leaving a threat he would kill Elara so the family would have no choice but make him the head. This caused for the family to adopt a commoner child that had a crest, Halline, they dyed her hair and dressed her similar to Elara to use the girl as a decoy should her brother take action on his threat. | Ember34 | Nora von Corwin | 16 | Female | Black Eagles | Noble | Minor Crest of Amos | Nora is of average height and build. While she has no problem with people who don't share her religious beliefs she despises those who are disrespectful about it. She does her best to learn as much as she can and has a competitive side. Nora doesn't mind standing up for others, as long as they aren't being complete doormats. She has little to no patience with those and can be pretty insensitive and harsh to them. | Nora is very interested in the architecture of Garreg Mach and is very fond of the cathedral. Another interest of her is horseback riding. | Nora likes to dance, learn new things, practice her magic and competing with others so she'll often participate in tournaments. She's also fond of things like hair clips and pretty flowers. | Nora can't stand people who give up too easily. She also dislikes nobles who act too high and mighty. When it comes to food she dislikes anything with cheese and doesn't really enjoy spicy food all that much. | She's the only daughter of the minor noble Gebhard von Corwin and his wife Annika. Open to crushes. | As the only child of a minor noble and the bearer of a crest her family has high expectations for her. While they still command respect her parents think they could be better off. One step to achieve that was to send their daughter to Garreg Mach. Mainly so she could meet other nobles, especially more important ones. They want her to marry a rich noble, much to her chagrin as she has no interest in men. | Her strengths are in Faith, Lance and Authority. Her weaknesses are in Brawl, Sword and Bow. Has a talent for Riding. Her crest allows her to use the Lance Nebelzeichen. | Pineclaw | Grimm von Hesper | 19 | Male | Black Eagles | Noble | Minor crest of Hesper | Grimm stands 6’0 tall, his hair a dusky dark-brown with the occasional lock of slightly lighter hair. His eyes are a faded pomegranate red and he seems to have a perpetual smirk on his face at any given time. He wears a modified version of the Garreg Mach Academy uniform, the blazer replaced by a coat of the same black and gold colouring which reaches to just above his knee. The standard boots have been swapped out with black riding boots. | With a devil-may-care attitude and a decidedly dark sense of humour, one might expect Grimm to be an underhanded or untrustworthy person, however, he is deeply loyal to those he is close to. It is with them that he becomes his most self-sacrificial and ‘knightly’ though those are both the sort of terms he would usually shy away from, not seeing himself as anything special. While he may come across easy-going, he doesn’t trust most people, taking on a watchful look when no-one else is around. Another thing that makes itself quite apparent about Grimm if you’ve known him for long enough is his lack of faith in the church. He isn’t very religious and he spends little time within the cathedral if he can help it. Instead, he tends to approach matters of faith with a mild sense of nihilism. In battle, Grimm is a dauntless fighter much like his older brother, Halvor is renowned to be. Battle doesn’t often scare him unless the odds are truly dire - he says himself that he will always find the time to joke so long as his death isn’t imminent. In fact, he has an especially high tolerance for pain which can lead him to shrug off injuries that would immobilise most people. This, however, can also cause him to be a lot more reckless than he ought to be. Nonetheless, it is only his own life he is prepared to play with, not others. | Interests: cooking, sparring, riding. | Likes: levity, lively feasts, travelling, interesting weapons. | Dislikes: politics, obligation, dire odds, family meals, written assessment (his handwriting is rather illegible). | Has two older brothers, Halvor and Arvid. The former is a decorated knight in the Adrestian Empire’s army, bearing the crest of Hesper just like Grimm. Arvid bears no crest. | The Hesper family was lucky enough to have two sons born with their crest, one five years before the other. This was the phenomenon that led to Grimm and his older brother, Halvor being doted on by their parents whilst Arvid, the third brother, was neglected and swept under the rug. For as long as anyone can remember, the relationship between the three brothers and their parents have been strained. So much resentment meant that Grimm’s only positive family relationship growing up was with Halvor and so family can be a somewhat touchy topic. | Grimm's strengths are in lance, axe and riding whilst his weaknesses are in faith, reason and sword. | Sussuru | Vincent von Marquardt | 18 | Male | Black Eagles | Noble | Minor Crest of Marquardt | Vincent is a tall young man with blond wavy hair about shoulder-length and brown eyes. | Vincent likes to treat others with respect, nobles and commoners alike, but he can be unintentionally condescending towards the latter. He's very patient with others but sometimes he's too lenient. Enjoying other people's company he can become annoyed with the more introverted individuals and tends to invade their personal space. He's confident but knows there's still much he can learn. While he's trying to be encouraging to others he's pretty bad at it, focusing more on being positive than helpful. | Vincent has a knack for dress-making and is very interested in it, fashion in general seems to be a subject of interest for him. He also has a great interest in crests and is very eager to learn more about them. | Vincent enjoys flying and spending time with wyverns. He also loves to fish. | Vincent doesn't care much for the people of the Kingdom of Faerghus, thinking they're taking their obsession with chivalry too far. He tries to get along with Blue Lions students anyway, not wanting anyone to think that the Black Eagles are rude. He also doesn't like tea. | Vincent is the son of Friedrich von Marquardt and his wife Gloria. He also has a little sister called Sophia. Open to crushes | House Marquardt is well respected and thus many people have high expectations for Vincent. Of the two children he's the only one with a crest which causes everyone to just ignore his sister. He thinks it is wrong of his parents to play favorites so much and does everything he can to make Sophia feel just as important is he is. The two started out having a close bond but over the years Vincent had less and less time for her. He still tries to be there for her but doesn't succeed as much as he would like to. | His strengths are Axe, Flying and Riding. His weaknesses are Faith, Sword and Brawl. Has a talent for Lance. His crest lets him unleash the power of the bracelet Hagbone. | Pineclaw | Megumi Yoshino | 16 | Female | Black Eagles | Taguel | No Crest | Megumi has long, light brown hair and pointed brown eyes. She had two standing rabbit ears that are white in color and has a generally athletic and lithe build. In her beast form she has fur the same color as her hair. Megumi had facial markings that are common in Taguels, though the ones under her eyes are more prominent than most. | Interests: Animal care, self improvement. | Likes: Carrots, Pegasus riding, heights. | Dislikes: Loud noises, slothful people, the rain. | Megumi hold herself, and other beastkin to a high regard. Her haughty personality leads to a lack in normal social conventions, and she has some deep seated biases about humans. She may act somewhat high and mighty, but she also lacks most basic knowledge about living around humans. And even then she doesn't like to 'lower' herself and ask for assistance on that matter. As a Taguel, most animals seem to like her, and she is fond of them in turn. Megumi specifically likes to fly as it's something she is unable to do herself. In her beast form she can match a horses pace, but she most certainly can't fly. | Her mother is the head of the Taguel tribe. | 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 | Adora von Sangrey (Keres) | 18 | Female | Black Eagles | Noble (Access to Thief) | No Crest | Adora is a slender girl with long wine-red hair half tied up in a low-hanging flower braid ponytail. She has a heart-shaped face. Her eyes are hazel, a beauty mark beneath the right. The uniform she wears has had no modifications apart from a bright red sash tied around her wrist. Keres, meanwhile, has silver hair and pale grey eyes with black sclerae. She retains a streak of Adora’s red hair within her own and possesses no beauty mark. | Adora is a passionate and kindly girl, something of a sisterly presence amongst the students of the newest class of Garreg Mach. She is protective of her comrades and is more than willing to make sacrifices for them when need be. Despite these more positive traits, she can be quite haughty and prideful, often placing great confidence in her skills and appearance. She is also a bit of flirt at times, liking to tease her peers when she gets the chance. Her sharp tongue can make her difficult to talk to and she may not take well to being bossed around, but she is certainly a capable ally in a fight. Some of these traits happen to overlap with Keres’ personality, however, she is typically much more apathetic than Adora is as well as being calmer, a practical thinker. The spy behind the mask has a broken moral compass and is selfish, wishing to keep her friends safe, but not sparing much of a thought for others. She holds disdain for the surface-dwellers just like her fellows and she has a sadistic streak that can make itself known inside the thick of battle. Keres has an unfortunate penchant for getting lost within the role she plays, the lines between her and her Adora persona blurring with increasing intensity. So far she has been able to hide it well enough, but it is difficult for her to distinguish which is which sometimes, leading her to be too sympathetic towards the enemy or adversely, show too much of her true character. | Interests: acting, fashion, archery, poison-making, espionage. | Likes: blood-shed, red, bittersweet foods, lying, the theatre, strawberries. | Dislikes: strict rules, naivety, insects, harm befalling her comrades, faith. | Adora is the daughter of Alexander and Lillian von Sangrey, minor nobles within the empire. She is an aspiring actress, having appeared in a few fairly successful stage productions since her debut at the age of 15. Keres is an orphan and adoptive older sister to her fellow spy, Aeschylus. Her relationship with her brother is complicated in that she cares about him and protects him from the ire of others, and yet finds herself secretly resenting the side of him that isn't Agarthan. Keres has been impersonating Adora for two years as she was originally meant to infiltrate the academy at an earlier time, but the operation was called off. She has spent the time keeping her ear to the ground and building connections to further secure the worm in the apple that is the church. The Agarthans have used her as an assassin in the past due to her proficiency with a bow. | Her strength is in bow. She has a hidden talent in sword and a weakness in faith. | Sussuru | Natalie von Tancred | 15 | Female | Black Eagles | Noble | Minor Crest of Thancrat | Natalie is a somewhat short girl with medium length cranberry hair and green eyes. She has sectoral heterochromia though it only affects her left eye which is mostly green but has a small area of blue. | Natalie tends to keep to herself for the most part but doesn't mind some company. While she would like to befriend others she has a hard time fully trusting them, often fearing that they will use her secret against her. She's often jealous of anyone who can use faith magic and of her adoptive brother but believes she's not supposed to feel that way so she does her best to never show any of her resentment. While she's a devoted follower of the church she often finds herself wondering if the Goddess has cursed her because why else would she be the only one in her family to be not only incapable of learning faith magic but also be so good with dark magic? Natalie hates herself for even daring to think like that, believing that it makes her a bad person, just like she thinks her jealousy is something she's not allowed to feel. So she tries her best to be kind and helpful to others even if they aren't good people since to her that's the only way she can make up for what she sees as sinful thoughts. Natalie is also very stubborn when it comes to training and studying. She knows she will never be able to learn faith magic but she still tries her hardest so even if she fails she at least has no regrets about it. She's somewhat self-conscious about how her left eye looks different, fearing that others will see it as a curse, but also refuses to hide it completely. As a result she'll often turn her head slightly so others won't get to see the blue part of that eye directly. | Natalie is very interested in the religious teachings at Garreg Mach and will spend a lot of time at the cathedral. She's also very curious about those among the foreign students who study faith magic. Another interest of her are crests and how they affect their bearers and she wonders if there are others whose crests are of no use to them. | Natalie loves to sit in the library and read about the Saints and the Goddess. She also likes to work with animals, especially mounts. While it takes her a while to consider someone a friend she cherishes those she has and likes to spend time with them. | Natalie hates dark magic, especially her own talent for it and wishes it was black magic instead as most in her family know some black magic spells in addition to their white magic. She also dislikes people who are very superstitious and don't question their beliefs. She doesn't enjoy fishing as it's boring to her. | Gervas (father), Idalia (mother), Manuel (adoptive brother). Family she doesn't know about: Zenon (grandfather), Zenais (aunt), Theron (uncle), Nereus (cousin) | Natalie is the only child of Gervas, Adrestia's Minister for Religious affairs. Since she has a crest she was supposed to succeed her parents one day but they soon all learned that for some reason she can't use any faith magic and instead has a unexpected talent for dark magic, something no one in her family is capable of. That, combined with her heterochromia, made her parents realize that she can't become the next head of House Tancred. According to her family's beliefs the different colored spot in her left eye means she's either blessed or cursed: she's going to bring prosperity or doom but no one knows which one it is until she's of age. Gervas and Idalia don't want to disown their daughter though so they still raise her as best as they can and hope they can find a future for her. They needed a new heir though and adopted an orphaned commoner boy who also has the crest of Cethleann. Not only that, he is skilled with faith magic and looks even similar enough to the von Tancreds that most people would think he really is related to them. At first Natalie was delighted to have a little brother, especially as he's only one year younger than her, but she also felt jealous of Manuel. She will try to keep it hidden and even deny it to herself but she is growing more and more resentful of him. | Her strengths are Reason, Riding and Flying. Her weaknesses are Heavy Armor, Lance and Brawl. Has a hidden talent for Sword. Is incapable of learning Faith magic so her crest is useless to her in combat unless she uses the relic associated with it, the staff Faithkeeper. | Pineclaw | Golden Deer Nobles: 4, Commoners: 6
Major Crests: 1, Minor Crests: 2
House Leader:
Neason Cherith | 17 | Male | Golden Deer | Noble | Major Crest of Adelis | Neason is a messy brown haired male. He has amber eyes, he has a scar on his left cheek, and a scar on his right hand. | Neason can be described as having a personality similar to a puppy. He is very energetic and oftentimes needs to be reeled in either by his brother or other house leader, and in some instances his professor. He has a habit of running in rather than making a plan. He enjoys joking around, especially with his house mates, not being one for formalities with them, but with the house leaders he tries his best to try and be respectable, but usually fails. He doesn’t enjoy seeing others get hurt, and often blames himself when they do, which causes him to sulk after missions, and tends to avoid everyone, till the injured housemate is better. He hates how his brother is treated, especially by their family for being born without a crest. | He has an interest in learning about the ruins in the Red Canyon and of the battle that took years ago in that area. | Neason likes to read, practice archery, fishing and goofing off. He enjoys the meal days when there is something with fish, sweets or fruit. | Neason dislikes responsibility as he often feels like he isn’t meant to be in that kind of a role. He also dislikes others getting hurt, as he will often blame himself with being the leader. Another thing he dislikes is the treatment of his brother by the other nobles for not bearing a crest. He hates crests, and often tries to not use the Adelis relic, the Yartike Bow, choosing in favor of a regular bow and often magic. | Searc (twin brother), Desai Cherith (father), Luna Cherith (mother), Luz Cherith (younger sister), Rossi (younger sister). Open to crushes. | He is the younger twin, but was born with the crest, putting him as the head of the family. He often doesn’t want the responsibility from fear of messing up but tries his best despite it all. He managed to keep a close bond with his brother, Searc, and can often be seen messing around with him. He comes from a noble family but doesn’t care much for it. He had gotten his scars when he was a kid and was first being taught how to use the relic Yartike, and had misfired and headed up getting hit by the arrow. He often skipped his training in favor of hanging with his brother which often got them both reprimanded. | He is in possession of the relic, Yartike, but it often sits in his dorm room unused. | Ember34 | Professor:
Philomel Oleandrius | 50 | Male | Golden Deer | Warlock (he is also a certified Bishop) | No Crest | a fairly tall man at 5’11, Philomel has a shock of sage-green hair threaded through with gold like a kintsuji ceramic. His eyes are amber, the colour of warmed honey, and he has a kindly face complete with a whimsical moustache. He wears bright bottle green robes, a pattern of orange leaves scrawled across the hems, and has a pair of reading glasses hanging from a chain around his neck. Never far from his side is his pet little owl, Malin, whom he affectionately refers to as ‘Mal’. | Philomel is a patient and tolerant professor, delighting in advising his students (something he is rather good at) and encouraging them to find their own paths in life. This patience, it seems, is a bottomless reservoir as he has been professor of numerous tough to handle classes in the past. Armed with his fatherly kindliness and quiet protectiveness, Philomel has made himself a well-liked and valued member of the monastery’s staff. This is perhaps doubly so because he is not only one of the three professors but the resident physician. He takes this job very seriously. Students dying on his watch is one of the only things he seems to fear so he does his very best to keep them safe. Other than this, it is no secret that Philomel has a green thumb. He has been known to conduct classes within the greenhouse purely because he believes it to be a nice change of pace from the ‘stuffy, old classrooms’. He gardens a lot in his own time too and it isn’t uncommon to see smudges of dirt on his robes. His love of plant-life has actually earned him a number of nicknames from his students: Professor Treelover, Professor Flowerpot, Professor Greenblood… | Interests: gardening, giving advice, caring for the animals of the monastery, healing. | Likes: plants of all types, animals of all types, lively students, Mal. | Dislikes: selfish and un-caring people, cruelty, lack of forethought. | Apparently has an adopted son named Evander who is travelling Almyra. | Philomel comes from a minor noble family. Said family, the Oleandrius’, have a long history of possessing the crest of Saint Cethleann although Philomel himself did not inherit it. His little owl, Malin, was rescued by him when he found him lying on the floor of the greenhouse with a broken wing and promptly nursed him back to health. The two have been inseparable ever since. His strengths are flying, reason and faith whilst his weaknesses are in brawling, axe and heavy armour. | Sussuru | Students:
Searc Cherith | 17 | Male | Golden Deer | Noble | No Crest | Searc has a neater appearance to his brothers. His brown hair is often styled to be put together in the terms of appearance. His bangs are swept to the left, hiding his left eye from view. His right eye is amber while his left eye is green. | Searc is a polar opposite to his brother. He prefers being on his own then being around the rest of his housemates. He is the one that is often having to hold his brother back from being impulsive. Searc has a disdain for those born with crests, including his own brother, though Neason is the only Crest-born he will tolerate. He avoids his family, to not have to deal with their cruelty. He often talks more with the commoners than with nobles when he does get around to socializing. He has a small inferiority complex, that often causes him to constantly feel like he has to prove himself to others. | Searc’s interests include sword training and horseback riding. | Searc likes to train, mainly desiring to do it on his own, but doesn’t reject others offers to train with him. Searc doesn’t often go to most of the meals, but he can be seen at the soup days. Searc has a liking for tea. | Searc dislikes nobility and crests. He doesn’t like to socialize much, as he believes you should spend free time training where you can improve yourself. | Neason (younger twin brother), Desai Cherith (father), Luna Cherith (mother), Luz Cherith (younger sister), Rossi (younger sister). Open to crushes | Searc was the first born of the twins. But being born without the crest meant he had no chance to take over the family. This caused for his family to neglect and forget about him, Searc often getting referred as being the forgotten twin. He often was either training to try and get some recognition from his parents. He did but it was on the off chance he could be his brother’s body guard. He was tasked with being put through training day and night to be able to wield a sword and lance. Hi brother often would sneak off from his responsibilities and Searc went with. There the brothers would run off into town in disguises where they could just be able to play and spend time together, without people interfering or bothering them. They both would be punished but Searc would receive the worse end of it. This has caused for his hatred for crests and nobility to fester. He was often considered cursed for his different eyes so he took to hiding the green one. | Ember34 | Ciarra Dagon | 15 | Female | Golden Deer | Commoner | Minor Crest of Mimura | Ciarra has grey hair that is styled into a braid that rests on her left shoulder. She has soft grey eyes to match. | Ciarra can be a rather bubbly girl. She comes off being air headed but usually knows what is going on around her. She enjoys socializing often seen with at least one other person. She likes to go to any of the meal days, enjoying the socializing aspect of it. She often has questions so she goes to the professor a lot, even when her questions have an easy answer to avoid being wrong. She's not sure what areas she wants to train in but knows that her family will want her to have experience in brawling in order to wield their relic. | She holds an interest in tending to the stables, enjoying hearing the stories the knights will give that are in the area. She holds a small interest in brawl and tries her best to focus on it. | Ciarra doesn't hold a lot of likes as she was often traveling with a knight. But she does enjoy going to the different towns in the alliance and even kingdom and empire and seeing how different they all are from one another. She likes to talk with her classmates. | Ciarra dislikes the rain. She finds it to cold for her taste and doesn't enjoy the mud it causes. She dislikes snow as well. | Alathic (mother), Kove (father) | Ciarra is the daughter of a baker and blacksmith. So when she had inherited a crest from her mother's side of the family, they were thrilled. Thinking of it as a way to possibly marry her to a noble. She was sent off when she was 7 to be a squire to a knight, so she could get experience. She worked hard under the knight and did her best. The knight helped her get into the officer's academy. | Ember34 | Estelle Eaver | 16 | Female | Golden Deer | Noble | No Crest | Estelle is a 5’0 girl with long rose-gold tresses falling short at the small of her back. Her eyes are a shadowy indigo, framed by dark lashes. She looks very much like you might expect a noble girl of her standing to look. She wears the standard Garreg Mach Academy uniform and owns a pocket watch that once belonged to her mother. | Estelle is a bright and curious girl with the kind of charm that encourages people to flock to her in droves. Her optimistic, idealistic outlook on life can cause her to appear ignorant and insensitive of other people’s struggles. The former is definitely true, having grown up firmly within the noble bubble of balls and fancy dinners, however, she is also very empathetic towards others which is clear to those who know her well. If she gives someone grief, you can be sure that she’ll make it up to them as soon as possible, quite possibly with gifts. Perhaps unlike some of the other nobles, she enjoys spending time with the commoners of her house and actively seeks them out because she wants to learn about the parts of the world she has missed out on - both the good and the bad. Regardless of their standing in society, so long as they are loyal and honourable, Estelle will want to befriend them. Alongside this, Estelle is an emotional person, tearing up over her favourite books or over gestures of affection, typically ruled more by her heart than her head. A small quirk of hers is that she is slow to grasp sarcasm. At night, she can often be found outside the dormitories, watching the stars, for which she is always appreciative of company. | Interests: stargazing, flying, singing. | Likes: Astrophel (the family pegasus), stars, music, dancing, finery, romance. | Dislikes: blood and gore, lack of hygiene, decisions. | Altair Eaver, her father, bearer of the Major Crest of Arcturus, astronomer and owner of the largest observatory in Fódlan. | Estelle grew up with only her father and the workers of The Eaver Observatory for family, her mother having died during childbirth. The Eaver Observatory was established 11 years before Estelle’s birth and was what catapulted the Eaver family from being commoners to well-respected nobles. Altair Eaver, not wanting his daughter to experience the life of a commoner that he had, used his newfound wealth to provide only the finest things for her to eat, wear, anything her heart desired. The two have a very close relationship and Estelle often writes back to him and the observatory where she grew up. Like many of the young maidens at the monastery, she is looking to marry. | Her strengths are in reason, authority and flying, whilst her weaknesses are heavy armour, axe and brawling. | Sussuru | Callan Lowell | 16 | Male | Golden Deer | Commoner | No Crest | Callan is very short for his age. He has wavy light brown hair and green eyes. | A quiet, insecure and introverted boy who seems to have a hard time meeting other people, either talking too little or too much upon meeting someone for the first time. He's constantly worrying about how others perceive him and tries to stand out as little as possible. More often than not he just blurts out whatever he's thinking and usually regrets it afterwards. At other times he's afraid to speak up, especially around nobles. He tries to avoid them but will talk to them if they're the ones to approach him. He's more comfortable around other commoners and has a much easier time talking to them. Callan tends to be easily annoyed by people he considers stupid but tries to hide it. Other than that he's a kind and empathetic person and feels very protective of others. He hates to pick sides in an argument as he doesn't want to offend anyone and has a hard time saying no. | Callan is very interested in flying and loves pegasi and wyverns. He's also interested in magic, especially when in comes to his own dark magic. | Callan enjoys weapon maintenance a lot, he also likes to play music and has a wooden flute he made himself. Riddles and puzzles are another thing he enjoys and he also loves to write, making up stories about old and mysterious places. | Callan dislikes public speaking. He also hates it when he has to approach others, especially nobles, as he doesn't want to be a bother.| Callan is the second child of the fletchers Kendrick and Belinda. He has an older brother called Nathan and, unbeknownst to him, soon will have a little sister, Kendra. | He belongs to a family of commoners who make and sell arrows. Thanks to that he's quite adept at archery and he's learned a lot from his father and brother. Since he has a hard time dealing with other people his older brother is doing most of the trades. His parents weren't quite sure what to do with him as he's a skilful fletcher but is afraid of any potential customers. Around this time they discovered his gift for dark magic. After a long time of hard work they had set enough money aside to enrol him in the academy. They hope he can become either a knight or otherwise prove himself to secure his future. | His strengths are in Reason, Sword and Flying. His weaknesses are in Axe, Brawl and Heavy Armor. Has a talent for Bow. | Pineclaw | Rekka Aguni | 17 | Male | Golden Deer | Kitsune | No Crest | Rekka is tall with longer orange/yellow hair, his eyes being a golden color. He has a pair of tall fox ears tipped in brown. His long fluffy tail has a white tip. He has sharper than average canine teeth, and his nails are naturally very sharp. His demonic fox form is a large orange fox with red accents and accompanying purple blue flames. | Interests: Poisonous plants, unusual food, theater. | Likes: Stories, running, free things. | Dislikes: Expensive items, rude humans, being controlled or limited. | Unlike some others from his tribe, Rekka is very interested in the human culture. He spends a lot of his time trying new foods, and experiencing things that his tribe never does such as human theater and other stories. This also leads to him being something of a 'tourist', which can come across as unprofessional. He's naturally very curious, but a part of him still distrusts humans enough that he isn't forth coming with his own feelings and information. Rekka could be considered poor, since his tribe had no need to gather wealth and because of this has become quite shrewd in terms of money and despises things that he considered overpriced. | Rekka was born into the kitsune tribe in Morfis and was sent to the academy as show of trust between the tribe and the humans. | He has strength in shifting while being weak in most weapon classes and faith. | 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 | Julius Farley (Akakios) | 17 | Male | Golden Deer | Dancer (Has access to the Trickster class) | No Crest | Julius has short pale pink hair and lavender eyes. He's about average height and of lean build. Akakios is slightly taller, has short and messy white hair and purple eyes with black sclerae. | Julius is a mostly kind and cheerful boy who tends to speak his mind. Because of that he can be pretty blunt at times and might come across as disrespectful. He's insecure about his status, especially around nobles, but hides it beneath a mask of confidence and sometimes he can be pretty cocky. More than anything he wants to be recognized as someone special or just worthy of respect but deep down he knows he's just an ordinary commoner. He'll try to befriend as many people as he can. Akakios on the other hand doesn't care at all about bonds and friendship. Instead he tries to sow distrust and loves nothing more than when people turn on each other. The mere thought of people from the Empire, Alliance and Kingdom wanting to live in relative peace is just laughable to him. He tries his best to play the role of the one he replaces but sometimes his real personality shines through. He looks down on the "surface-dwellers" and, like most Agarthans, sees them as inferior and worthless. Despite that he is capable of caring about others and he is quite friendly to other Agarthans. | Julius is mostly interested in learning anything that's considered either difficult or unusual. He also has a great interest in exploring and adventuring. Akakios is curious about the life the surface dwellers lead, even if he would never admit it. He's also interested in figuring out what makes people trust or betray each other. | Julius likes to try out new things in hopes of finding something he's particulary good at. He also likes to compete with others. Akakios likes to train. He also enjoys making up rumors. Both Julius and Akakios enjoy dancing. | Julius hates being ignored and he doesn't like people who have no appreciation for art. He's not a fan of strict rules, especially when they make no sense to him, and he doesn't like sweet food. Akakios despises the surface-dwellers and the Church of Seiros. He also doesn't take kindly to "outsiders", especially those who bear a crest. He hates bitter food. | Akakios is the son of the Agarthans Demophon and Euanthe. The parents of Julius are Jonas Farley and Nadja Farley. He has two younger siblings, the twins Levin and Cora. | Akakios has spent most of his life underground and was raised to despise the surface-dwellers and especially those who call themself the "children of the Goddess". The only times he's been to the surface were for the sole purpose of gathering information on those who would attend the Officers Academy. Now he was given the task of posing as one of the students and keeping an eye on the church's activities, the outsiders and the beastkin. Julius grew up in a town in the Leicester Alliance. While he would usually help his father, a cooper, with his work he actually has little interest in barrel making and discovered his passion for dancing pretty early on. As kids he and his siblings were known for being rambunctious and for persuading almost every other kid they met into playing with them. | Akakios' strengths are in Reason, Sword and Axe. His weaknesses are in Faith, Riding and Lance. He pretends to be bad at Reason and tries to hide his weakness in Faith. | Pineclaw | Tahvo Vanhanen | 18 | Male | Golden Deer | Wolfskin | Minor Crest of Louhi | Tahvo has light-grey hair about shoulder-length and grey eyes. He also has visibly sharp nails and canine teeth. His ears and tail are the same shade as his hair. He has a set of scars on his left arm and his back. Tahvo is slightly shorter than average. | Tahvo is usually a cheerful and friendly person who, unless the situation demands it, doesn't take things too seriously and can be a little careless at times. He's a bit of a dreamer who's often lost in his own little world. Since he'd never spent too much time around humans he doesn't really trust them yet though he doesn't dislike them. Once he's befriended someone he grows strongly attached to them and hates the thought of having to go separate ways eventually. Despite being trained to become the leader of his tribe one day he doesn't like leadership, mainly because he worries that being leader would make him lonely. He tries to make himself look unfit for leadership, deliberately acting foolish and erratic but he often finds himself taking charge anyway. | Tahvo is very interested in learning about other cultures and their beliefs. He is also interested in studying Faith magic. | He loves spending time with others and can be very affectionate. He also likes to wander off sometimes out of curiosity and he enjoys travelling. Tahvo absolutely loves myths and legends, especially those of other countries. | Tahvo dislikes competitions and people who take them too seriously. He also doesn't like hot weather. Another thing he doesn't enjoy too much is being alone, he hates having to spend time all by himself. | His parents are Antero and Seela Vanhanen, the leaders of the Vanha tribe. | Tahvo was born into Vanha tribe, the oldest Wolfskin tribe in Albinea. He was trained from a young age as he will lead the tribe one day. His love for wandering off has once caused him to be nearly carried off by a Giant Bird and thus earning him his scars. Fortunately for him he had been followed by some older and more experienced wolfskin who fought off the beast. Ever since then he has become wary of birds of prey. He's attending the Officers Academy because his father wants him to see all the different ways of how to be a good leader. Since their tribe is one of the smaller ones and is pretty secluded they don't have much contact to the other wolfskin tribes. It's another reason for Antero to send his son to Garreg Mach since all kinds of beastkin are allowed to attend this year. | He prefers not to use weapons at all, wanting to rely solely on shifting, but he's not too shabby with lances. He hopes he can learn some Faith spells though and has a talent for Authority. His crest allows him to use the shield Soul Mirror to its full potential. | Pineclaw | Quincy Cadell | 18 | Male | Golden Deer | Commoner | No Crest | Standing at 5’3, Quincy is a short boy with waves of long black hair which wends its way down the small of his back, lightly tanned skin and chartreuse eyes. His hair is generally worn in a singular loose braid via a couple of loops of gold thread and his uneven bangs fall over his forehead. His uniform consists of a bell-sleeved white shirt and a black and gold waistcoat, with which he tends to wear a frayed black travelling cloak and a ruby earring on his left ear. Upon his right shoulder blade, he bears a dark red brand. | Despite his colourblindness, Quincy is quite the vibrant person. He possesses a mischievous streak, deriving pleasure from teasing the other students regardless of house or status and exhibits a general disregard for the rules. This paired with his tendency to pry into other people’s affairs can get him into trouble at times but he is a genuinely friendly person. As you might expect considering his occupation, he is also quite materialistic. On occasion, he can be sly, caustic and even a bit manipulative depending on who he’s talking to. Some of these traits served him well when he had to hop from inn to inn but don’t necessarily ingratiate him to others at the academy. Though some of his actions might come off morally questionable, Quincy loathes taking lives out of anything but self-defence. People who take pride in their kill count are, to him, the lowest of the low. Something you might notice about him is that for someone who spent so long hiding their identity from others he is surprisingly open about himself. Interestingly, he appears to take little interest in training or lessons, instead spending most of his time in the library searching through the books.| Interests: borrowing other people’s items indefinitely, the pursuit of knowledge, fashion, sailing, the occult | Likes: jewels, colourful things, strong tastes, half-truths, travel, the occasional prank, creativity | Dislikes: small spaces, fire, boredom, goodbyes, being out of the loop | No known kin. | Quincy grew up at the Cadell Institution, an orphanage in Derdriu which he stayed at until he was 16. He then built up a small amount of infamy as a thief and was dubbed ‘Magpie’ due to the bird mask he used to keep his face covered. A year later he was contacted by a self-professed clergyman from the Central Church who wanted to enlist his services in exchange for a small fortune for each request completed. One such mission involved Quincy retrieving an unknown object from a reclusive but well-known noble’s estate, however, he was caught before he could leave the building and the noble branded and cursed him, the curse dramatically shortening his lifespan and causing him to go colourblind. It was this event that led his benefactor to pull strings in order to enrol the boy so that he could access Garreg Mach’s vast library and hopefully find a cure to his curse. | His strength is in reason. He has a hidden talent in riding and weakness in heavy armour, axe and authority. | Sussuru | Church of Seiros
Archbishop:
Hera | ? | Female | Church of Serios | Archbishop | Major Crest of Serios | an elegant-looking woman with sweeping rosy hair tied back in a braided ponytail. Her eyes are a serene, pale green, impassive and hard to read, but friendly in casual conversation. She wears the blue, white and gold regalia of all the archbishops before her. | Although Hera’s status mandates that she be dignified and impersonal, she tries to come across personable anyway. A number of times, she has asked the people of the monastery to call her simply by her name and not ‘Lady Hera’. This tends to fall on deaf ears much to her disappointment. Hera’s room is actually very messy, contrary to the solemn air she portrays and she has a habit of leaving her belongings around the monastery, then forgetting where she put them. To the church staff, she is perceived as being very kind albeit ditzy and even airheaded. It is her kindness, her readiness to take in those who require sanctuary that has endeared her to them. She is also quite meek and seems to scare easily. It is a known fact that she detests battle, rarely taking part in missions outside of the church. In fact, some even think she might have a mild case of agoraphobia considering her unwillingness to leave Garreg Mach. As you might expect, Hera is incredibly devout, following the teachings of Serios closely and encouraging others to do the same. She can often be found praying whether it be in the cathedral or in the audience chamber. | Interests: brewing tea, praying to the Goddess, writing. | Likes: Garreg Mach, light places, peace and quiet. | Dislikes: loud noises, the dark, blood, leaving the monastery. | Little is known about her family or whether she ever had any. | Hera has been the archbishop of Garreg Mach for around 20 years. She was once a student of the academy herself, aspiring to work for the church in some way. Over time, she managed to work her way up to her current position. | Hera's specialises in bow, brawling and authority whilst her weaknesses are in reason, lance and axe. | Sussuru | Church Members:
Amatus | 52 | Male | Church of Seiros | War Monk | No Crest | Amatus is a somewhat short but stocky man. He has short white hair and yellow eyes. | Amatus is a devout member of the church of Seiros. Even when going about his duties he often keeps an eye on the children who live at the monastery and the students, making sure that they grow up right and don't stray from the path. He is patient with most of the young ones and is always willing to offer them guidance but he doesn't tolerate idiocy and irresponsible behavior. If someone fails to meet his standards time and time again with no sign of improvement or willingness to take responsibility Amatus can be very harsh with them to the point where some might call him heartless for his words. He also isn't too fond of the foreign students though he will still be polite to them. While he disagrees with Lady Hera's decision to accept students from other countries and recently even beastkin he respects it and only shares his concerns with like-minded people. He believes that they shouldn't bother with anyone from outside of Fódlan as those people don't worship the Goddess and he worries that it's impossible for any peace to last since he knows there are plenty of people in Fódlan who are quick to blame any foreigners for anything bad that happens and that there are people in other countries who believe the same about the people of Fódlan. Amatus bears no ill will towards most of the foreigners but he strongly dislikes those who know magic, especially if they are good at using it. He sees magic as a gift from the Goddess herself and thus only the people of Fódlan should be able to use it. To him this also means that anyone else who can use magic must have gotten it from some other deity or some dark and dubious being. Students from other countries who use their tainted magic on the sacred grounds of Fódlan anyway are blasphemers to him and the worst are the people of Morfis for they are known to have especially impressive knowledge of magic. Since Amatus respects the archbishop and those who support her decisions however he does his best to not show his disdain to those foreign mages and will treat them the same as everyone else. He will speak to them politely but without the warmth he shows to most people. | Pineclaw |
Knights of Serios / Squires / Merchants:
Jasmine Eldred | 15 | Female | Church of Seiros | Fighter | No Crest | Jasmine is a tall girl with short wavy brown hair and grey eyes. | Jasmine isn't a girl of many words and prefers training or pursuing her other interests over spending time with people her age. While she does respect nobles she is bad at showing it, coming across as rude instead. She doesn't hate interacting with other people though and actually enjoys some company. Unfortunately she tends to hog the conversation, being unable to shut up once she starts talking about her interests. She's very kind towards other orphans but can be a little impatient with everyone else, especially those who complain about their parents. When she's among friends she likes to joke and mess with them. Sometimes she doubts herself and her life-choices, wondering if she's selfish for following her dreams instead of becoming a tailor like her parents.| She's very interested in weapons and smithing, she even does small tasks for the blacksmith. Jasmine is also interested in the history of the Knights of Seiros. | Jasmine loves training and doing minor tasks to help out the blacksmith. She also loves spices, spending quite some time in the greenhouse and kitchen. | Jasmine despises the people of Sreng but tries to tone it down towards the students from there as she knows that they had nothing to do with her parents' death. She has no faith in the Goddess so she doesn't like praying. She has little sympathy for people who complain about their parents, even if they have a good reason. It makes her very insensitive towards those with an abusive family. | Her parents were Theodore Eldred and Deborah Eldred. She has a sister named Claire who is a year older than her. Open to crushes. | Jasmine was born into a family of commoners in the Kingdom of Faerghus. When she was 7 her parents, as well as many other people, were killed in a conflict between the Kingdom and Sreng. She and her sister found a new home at Garreg Mach Monastery. Grateful for having a place to stay and people who raise her she soon decided that she wanted to become a Knight of Seiros. Her sister showed more interest in taking care of the animals and plants around the monastery and usually works in the greenhouse or the stables. Over the years however Jasmine became less interested in becoming a knight, hoping to become a blacksmith instead. She still takes her training seriously but spends most of her free time at the market place to watch the local blacksmith. | Her strenghts are Riding, Heavy Armor and Brawl. Her weaknesses are Authority, Reason and Faith. | Pineclaw | Ambrose Beckett (Schuyler) | 27 | Male | Bow Knight | Crestless | Ambrose is a tall, and skinny man. He has bright blonde hair. He has sky blue eyes. He has scars on his arms and face from battles. Schuyler is a pale grey skinned individual. Schuyler has black hair with the same sky blue eyes. He has one tail that is scaled resembling a scorpions. Like others like him, he has black markings on his face. | Ambrose is a very cocky individual, with high confidence in his abilities. It causes him to underestimate situations and usually leads to him having to retreat a bit. Ambrose is protective of children, due to being an older brother, and can often be seen teaching them techniques, and can also be seen joking around or teasing the younger knights. Ambrose is very religious often seen praying when he has the chance. Ambrose is not particularly in favor of beastkin being at the monastery. Schuyler is the opposite to the human he has to portray. While he is confident in his abilities he doesn't have enough to underestimate an opponent, preferring to watch from the sidelines to see what they are capable of before engaging or choosing to run. Schuyler could care less for those younger then him, especially children, as he detests his younger brother greatly. He enjoys helping with experiments that involve children test subjects. Schuyler hates the goddess, and despising how much he is having to go and 'pray' to her. | Ambrose loves his family, especially his younger siblings. He likes reading and having a nice cup of tea. He likes learning more about the goddess and her teachings. Schuyler likes reading and aiding the best he can to Agarthans plans. | Ambrose dislikes rain, finding it an unpredictable weather pattern and hard to fight in on horse back, due to the mud. He dislikes beastkins, as it was a beastkin that had caused for his father's retirement. Ambrose dislikes having to sit around on the sidelines in battles. Schuyler dislikes outsiders of any kind, especially those that have a crest. Schuyler dislikes his younger brother, just due to not enjoying the younger company. He hates the surface dwellers, and can't wait to return home after the mission. | Ambrose has an interest in bow and horse riding, with a wanting to learn faith magic. Schuyler has interest in sword and bow. | Ambrose's parents are Celestine and Fin Beckett. He is the older brother to Lucian, Mirabel and Otto Beckett. Schuyler is the son of Atlas and Eros, with a younger brother named Ajax. | Ambrose at a young age always wanted to be a knight. His father was one but had to retire due to sustaining an injury that never healed right. Ambrose worked hard on training and when he was old enough he went to become a squire. Now at 27 he is a well respected knight of serios. Schuyler was selected to take over his life, qnd has been doing it for a year. Schuyler resents the position he has to play, especially with having to work for the church. | Ambrose has strength in bow and horse riding, with weakness is reason, sword and lance. Schuyler has strength in reason, sword and bow with weakness in faith and brawl. | Ember34 | Farvald | 23 | Male | Church of Seiros | Dark Knight | No Crest | Farvald is of average height and has a lithe build. He has short green hair and golden eyes. | A polite and friendly knight who wants everyone to feel welcome and when not busy with training, patrolling or other duties always willing to listen to other people's problems and either help them find a solution or at the very least make them feel understood. He dislikes unneccesary conflict and will often try to reason with both parties before things can escalate. In battle he holds nothing back and those who threaten the safety of those he sees under his protection can't hope to appeal to his friendly and reasonable side. He knows most battles can't be avoided and most of the time he can tell when trying to find a better solution is pointless. When he does believe things might be resolved more peacefully though he will try his best to get both sides to come to an understanding. Farvald respects his elders and betters and will follow their orders but if he thinks they might be wrong he will try to talk to them. He can be a bit impatient with those who are wary of the foreign students and will call them out for their attitude towards them. As one of those who always were in favor of allowing beastkin to attend he'll also try to keep an eye on them to see if anything is bothering them as living among so many humans isn't something most of them are used to. He also pays attention to the other students and trainees and he offers to help them practice in his spare time, especially when they want to learn dark magic. Since none of the professors use those kinds of spells he feels its his responsibility to help those students out. | Pineclaw | Yutaka Ashstride | 22 | Male | Merchant | Minor Crest of Ashtride | Yutaka is a tall man with short dark blue hair. He has bright amber eyes. He has a dark blue fox tail, with it being a lighter blue closer to the tips. He has dark blue fox ears. | Yutaka is very much like a salesman, having an upbeat and cheerful manner. He can always be seen smiling. But when he thinks no one is looking he does allow for true emotions to come out, such as when he gets treated badly for his beastkin heritage. He is very friendly with others, as he wants to build a good reputation. He isn't afraid to bite someone's head off if he absolutely hates how he is being treated, or if he hates how he sees other being treated. | Yutaka has a lot of interests in art and the history of Fodlan. As he desires to be the best merchant he can. | Yutaka likes art, animals, traveling and interacting with others, especially other beastkins. He enjoys bartering as it usually leads to fun outcomes. | Yutaka dislikes being treated poorly for being a beastkin. He hates when he has a bad day of sales. Like other merchants, he hates being stolen from. | Kaz (father) and Chinatsu (mother) | Yutaka was born to the human Kaz and the kitsune Chinatsu. He wasn't well liked in his village due to being half human, to where his family had gotten kicked out of it. The family traveled around as merchants, and when he was older he began to aid in helping with sales. Often running into markets to get an idea of what was being sold, so his family's stand could stand out. His mother eventually choose to leave and go back to the village, Yutaka never saw her since. Kaz worked hard to provide for his son, often working himself to the bone to ensure they had enough to eat. When he was 18 he ended up losing his father to sickness. He has since taken over the family business. He has managed to be allowed to sell in Garreg Mach, but is aware of the glares he receives. | Ember34 | Néo Ménard | 15 | Male | Church of Seiros | Taguel | No Crest | A short but sturdy boy with messy brown hair and red eyes. His rabbit ears are of the same color as his hair. In his beastform he has dark brown fur with some light brown patches. | Néo is a prideful taguel who shows little to no respect to others. He doesn't like having to live among humans and he makes sure that everyone knows it. While he is diligent and performs his tasks without much complaint he is otherwise pretty immature. He also tries his best to not get along with the church members and the students, not wanting to run the risk of actually growing to like them and thus ruining any chance of being accepted by his tribe. Néo doesn't like to think things through and will often make his decisions based on what is more fun than what is more practical. Despite all this he is fiercely loyal and hates injustices. He's also sympathetic towards those who feel like they don't belong. | Néo is mostly interested in magic despite having a hard time understanding it. He's also interested in the various battle techniques the people of Fódlan have. | Néo would probably never admit it but he loves spending time at the cathedral. He likes to run, especially in his beastform, and he'll race anyone who rides a horse. He also really enjoys acting and thinks it's a shame that his tribe doesn't think much of theatres and performers. | Néo dislikes humans, especially the Knights of Seiros and the people of Faerghus. He also hates anyone, may they be human or beastkin, who judges his parents for being born in Fódlan. At the same time he resents his parents for being so accepting of humans that they're even willing to live amongst them. Also, despite wanting to go back to his tribe he strongly dislikes them for how they treat him and his parents. | His father is Matthieu Ménard and his mother is Akina Oguro. Both are taguel. Open to crushes. | Néo was born into one of the taguel tribes in Sreng but it's hard for his family to find acceptance there. His father was born in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Matthieu's parents, as well as some other taguel, had become prisoners to the Kingdom after a border skirmish and had to work for a noble family. The taguel tribe has always judged Matthieu for being born in Faerghus and the same disgust had been extended to Néo, not helped by his disrespectful attitude. After a few years his family has moved back to Fódlan, this time finding residence in a small village near Garreg Mach. Matthieu and Akina are also devote followers of church, much to Néo's dismay as it caused them to send him to the monastery, wanting him to both work there and learn more about their religious teachings. Néo complies and even joins the squires and students for training sometimes, hoping to become strong enough to travel back to Sreng by himself. All he wants is for him and his family to be accepted by their tribe and to him the best way to achieve that is to prove that they despise the people of Fódlan as much as everyone else in the tribe does. | He'd love to learn Dark or Black magic but has no talent for it and it's unlikely for him to learn a spell. While he prefers to fight in his beastform he also wants to wield a weapon. So far he's been pretty good with swords. | Pineclaw | Serik Zhandos | 17 | Male | Church of Seiros | Monk | No Crest | Serik is short for his age. He has short purple hair and bright purple eyes. | Serik is a usually friendly and cheerful person, always happy to meet new people. He likes to try and impress others or to tease them a little or otherwise cheer them up. He knows when to be serious though and is also often willing to just listen. He tries to be friendly to most, even when they're being rude, but he won't tolerate their attitude forever and will either firmly tell them off or be rude in return. Serik greatly enjoys his training and looks up to the fully trained knights. He always does his best so he'll be strong enough to keep everyone safe. While he is mostly a genuinely caring person he has one more reason for training as a knight: to get revenge on his birth family who not only treated him like trash for having no crest but also wanted to have him killed when he was only nine. He also hates anyone who views crest-less people as inferior and will be cold to them at best. Most of the time however he'll show his disdain outright and sometimes be straight up nasty to them, and it's not unlikely that he'll try to pick a fight with such people. To him everyone who thinks crest bearers are more valuable is just as bad as his birth family. He is also uneasy around any crest bearers, no matter how they view their own crests. While most of this comes from his hatred for his former family it also comes from his fear of them as he thinks everyone with a crest or with the opinion that crest bearers are superior has the potential to become just like the ones who essentially sentenced a child to death. Serik has not told anyone about his past, aside from his adoptive parents, and while he wishes he could find someone else he could trust enough to talk about it he just never feels safe enough to do so, fearing that they'll also see him as bad luck like his birth family did. Around those he wants to trust, like the professors, the knight training him and the captain of the knights, he at least managed to drop some hints though. While he has a hard time fully trusting someone he also likes to believe in the good of most people, something that often conflicts with his deep seated distrust and fear of nobles and crest bearers. His faith in humanity can make him look naive to others but he usually can tell who deserves a second chance and who doesn't. Still, his seeming naivety often makes him look younger than he is, not helped by his below average height. Serik also doesn't like to plan ahead that much. He is a fast learner, actually knows quite a bit about tactics and strategy and can quickly assess a situation but most of the time he just likes to act on impulse, especially when others are in danger. He's the type of person who'd jump into a river to save someone only to remember a little too late that he can't swim either. | Serik is curious about the other countries and their cultures. He's also interested in Fódlan's history and especially Garreg Mach Monastery since this place seems to be full of secrets and mysteries. | Serik enjoys helping out at the Greenhouse and will always find time to do so. He also likes to sing and enjoys dancing too, at least when it's fun and not "boring old ballroom dancing". He loves to train with others but also enjoys spending time with them otherwise. Despite knowing Garreg Mach very well he still likes to explore the place, always wondering if there are any areas he doesn't know yet. He also likes to fish. | Serik greatly dislikes how much value is placed on whether or not someone has a crest. He hates nobles who are of this mindset and distrusts crest-bearers, secretly fearing them. He also can't stand people who are very superstitious and those who have some twisted beliefs, no matter what religion they follow. | Dias Zhandos (father), Zarina Zhandos (mother), Paskal Genadiev (birth father), Katia Genadieva (birth mother), Kubrat Genadiev (brother), Goran (biological father) | Serik is the second son of the minor nobles Paskal Genadiev and his wife Katia though unbeknownst to him his actual father is Goran, a man Katia, frustrated that her husband often seduced some of their maids, had a brief fling with when she and Paskal had business in Duscur. While it was never talked about openly anyone working for his family often whispered about it so while Serik doesn't know who exactly his father is he knows it's not Paskal. Despite not actually being related to him Paskal still accepted the boy as his own at first and decided to raise him the same way as his first son, Kubrat. Not long after his birth however they realized Serik had no crest and took this as a sign that the Goddess was angry at them and that he should have never been born. Immediately his parents began to treat him as lesser, not even bothering giving him a name, and his older half-brother Kubrat followed their example. For a few years they allowed him to live with them though they made it clear they only did so because they didn't want to send a child to live on the streets. One day in spring however their town was hit by a horrible hailstorm, destroying many homes, fields and killing both people and livestock. Since something like that had never happened before everyone thought it must have been the wrath of the Goddess and the noble family immediately blamed their nameless and crestless child, saying that as long as they allowed him to live their land wouldn't be safe from the Goddesses' anger. Instead of killing him themself though his parents ordered one of their knights to escort the boy out of town and quietly gave him a second order. At first Serik thought he'd drop him of somewhere and then leave him to fend for himself but he was wrong. The knight eventually stopped on an overhang at the coast near the Sacred Gwenhwyvar mountains and shoved him into the sea, saying that this is what Lord Genadiev had demanded him to do when the latter had given his second order secretly. Serik knew that by giving this order his father had practically sentenced him to death as there was no way he could make it to the shore. Luck was on his side though and he was saved by a man who was travelling between Faerghus and Duscur for trading and had chosen to travel by boat instead of crossing the mountains that day. The man, Dias, took Serik to his village and he and his wife Zarina decided to look after him and, if he wanted to, to let him live with them, something they wished for as they had no children of their own. The young boy eventually accepted their offer, hesitant at first as he wasn't sure how everyone would react to having a child from a neighbouring country live in their village, and after a while began to see them as family. One of the first things they did was to name him, which mean a lot to him. Serik spent some happy years in that small fishing village and felt right at home in Duscur, happy to no longer have any meaningful connection to Faerghus as it made it easier to mentally distance himself from his birth family. Sometimes he would accompany his father when he went to a town in the Kingdom for trading. One time however Serik, who often got bored and preferred to walk around town instead of watching his father do business, overheard a small group talking about planning to attack the king the next time he would go to Duscur. Upon hearing this Serik quickly went to tell the next best person that there was a suspicious group, making it seem like they sounded like they wanted to steal something from the market as he doubted that most adults would believe him if he just told them what he actually had heard. The man, a local merchant, followed Serik back to where he had seen the group and as he also heard some words from their plan he immediately told some guards of the town. In the meantime Serik kept an eye on them from his hiding place until the guards came to arrest them but shortly before they did he saw one of the strangers look in his direction and it horrified him. This person looked like they were not quite human, their eyes being especially unsettling. At this moment the guards arrived and after briefly being distracted by them Serik looked back at that creepy being only to realise they looked like a completely normal person again and he wrote the brief unsettling sight off as his eyes playing a trick on him. The captured group was held by the guards for a while until the Knights of Seiros showed up, though some managed to escape and flee the town. The knights asked Serik and the man he had alerted about what they had seen and heard from that group. Once they heard that one member of the group had noticed Serik watching them they brought up the possibility that those who got away might want to get their revenge on him as it was thanks to him that they had been found out. They immediately sought out the boy's father Dias to tell him about this too and suggested that if they were right about their concerns then Serik would be safer with the knights at Garreg Mach. Dias agreed but said he'd have to talk to his wife about this first and asked to be given a day or two so they could make a decision. Back in Duscur Dias and Zarina quickly came to an agreement and while it saddened them to have to send their son away for an indefinite time they knew he would be much safer at a place as well protected as Fódlan's Garreg Mach Monastery. Serik didn't like that decision at all, not wanting to be apart from his family but he too understood that it was for the best. He missed his home a lot at first though he soon began to find some things to enjoy about his life at the monastery. Eventually Serik become interested in becoming a knight especially after learning more about the Goddess and crests and realizing that his birth family had wrongfully blamed him for that storm. By learning how to fight alongside Fódlan's most revered knights Serik hopes to one day have the chance to get revenge on his former family and make them pay for how they treated him. He also thinks he should train under them so he'd be better able to protect himself in case the knights really were right about those from the group who had talked about attacking the royal family wanting to get back at him for ruining their plan Sometimes he wonders if he made the right choice though because as much as he loves his training he still hopes he will return to Duscur one day and he worries that by deciding to train under the Knights of Seiros he has made this impossible as they will expect him to be loyal to them. | His strengths are Faith and Bow. His Weaknesses are Riding and Heavy Armor. Has a talent for Flying. | Pineclaw | Unfinished
Nereus | 21 | Male | House | Mortal Savant | Major Crest of Rhys (Implanted) | Nereus is about average height and has short black hair with some silver streaks. He has sectoral heterochromia, both eyes being mainly green but with small areas of blue. | Nereus is mostly serious and likes to only focus on his task, not liking to waste time on trivial stuff. He gets very defensive whenever the topic of agarthans accidentally getting attached to humans comes up, even when there is no mention of his grandfather or any indication that it's about him. While he knows that most people trust him he constantly feels the need to prove his loyalty and tends to interpret any negative reaction to him as them judging him for being related to Zenon. Nereus does have a more friendly side though which he only gets to show around people he trusts to not judge him, being surprisingly kind to them but he's also not above teasing them. He especially has a soft spot for the younger ones and shares their excitement about any missions on the surface. | Interests | Nereus likes to travel around, both because he can gather useful information and because he enjoys living on the surface. He also enjoys any kind of training, especially if he can act as a mentor to the younger and less experienced agarthans. It's always fun to him to accompany someone on their first mission as he loves to see their reaction to the outside world. | Nereus despises anyone who, accidentally or intentionally, shares knowledge and secrets with surface dwellers. He hates humans in general and is disgusted by those who grow attached to them. It's also best to not bring up his grandfather in his presence.| His father's name is Theron and his mother is Zenais. While Nereus doesn't know him personally he has heard a lot about his grandfather, the infamous Zenon who had betrayed the agarthans to be with a surface dweller. | History | Other | Pineclaw |
Yorath Rhydderch | 18(at disappearance) | Male | Black Eagles | Assassin(at disappearance) | Crest of Rhys | Yorath is a young man with pale skin. He has long salt and pepper colored hair despite his age, that was often pulled back in a bun. He had two fingers missing on his left hand, his pinky and ring, with scarring that resembled a bite wound. Yorath has bright amber eyes. | Yorath is a cold and standoffish with strangers, taking him a long time to warm up. He is short tempered when it comes to those that harm birds to any degree, and often scolds people for consuming them. Yorath is a skilled man with a bow, able to hit his targets with ease, with his time as a hunter, he aims mostly to kill, but does try to hit non lethal parts on humans. Yorath has a strong moral compass, and was often the one for his class. Yorath is slow to trusting those at the church, as his tribe has different religious beliefs from what is taught in Fodlan. He never is one to speak ill of others to their face, but often would behind their back should it be something that really bothers him. Yorath is a person that often tried to get the full facts of a case before he would make a conclusion as to how he felt about it. | Yorath is the son of Siral and Afon. He is the older brother of Eirian, Gethan, Dewi and Llonis. He had a savannha hawk named Lunete. | Yorath is from a small tribe in Dagda, that lived in the a tropical forest. The tribe hunted for their food, and often used birds to aid them, with a belief that the wined creatures were a sacred being and not to be killed or consumed by any means, and only to be killed if they are to injured to be treated, and are to be released during mating season so they can continue to live. Yorath is the oldest son of the tribe chief, and was being trained to take the mantel once his father passed on, and in one way to improve his skills, left his tribe to go to the Officer's Academy, where he joined the Black Eagles House. At first he kept his distance from the rest of the students, due to their consumption of birds, but eventually got close with some in his house, one being Orryn, who was in his second attempt of graduating the academy. Halfway through the year however Yorath went missing, and hadn't been since. His tribe has never sent another person to the academy as a result of his disappearance, with the tribe holding a grudge. His sister Eirian took on the role of tribe chief, as she was next in line. | Ember34 |

Pine and Ember's Torture Chamber
What we came up with so far and probably any other mean plans for our characters
How Ember Traumatized The Students And Pine Made It Even Worse In a Failed Attempt To Stop Her - Part 1 Where do I even begin? Maybe with the stuff that happens after the Ethereal Moon? Some of it at least. Remember how we planned to have Akakios fake his death as Julius, and Searc get severely injured? Well, Neason won't take either of those well (obviously) but Ember made things even worse for him. He's gonna run away for a month. I added to it by having Akakios pose as a church member and he'll say some harsh things to Neason. Here's what I wrote back then: I said that Akakios would pose as a church member and after he bullies Neason into leaving he also leaves the church, having to run some small errand at the border to Morfis. Originally I just wanted him or the other Agarthans to just kill the real church member there to cause some tension between Fódlan and Morfis. Well, I still want to do that but in addition to that, how about the reason he was sent to the border was to meet with a messenger from Morfis who is working for that county's ruler? Akakios, posing as the church member, would then suddenly attack that messenger while spouting some racist stuff and make some remarks about the students from Morfis. He would also let the messenger escape so he can report this to whoever has sent him. And then the other Agarthan's would drop off the real church member, making it look like that messenger had killed him in self defence. Because just doing so without attacking a messenger from Morfis wouldn't cause enough distrust between the countries, most people would just assume that a bandit had killed that church member. Akakios would take that into consideration and go against the original plan (which was just to drop off that church member at the border and kill him there). Since I doubt that Hera would send a church member without any escort I'd say a nameless knight will accompany him/Akakios. The Agarthans would then capture that knight so Akakios can pose as him to get back to the monastery. They'd probably kill that guy later after Akakios has caused some more damage at the monastery. Like talking about how a church member had talked a lot to Neason before the kid disappeared, dropping some hints that Tahvo and Yutaka are suspicious, how no one is putting any effort into finding Neason and how there had been some church members among the racist cult. Once these rumors are really making their rounds someone could kill the real knight, implying that the church did it because he got too close to the truth. Not sure what Akakios would do then though. It's still a good while before the big reveal. Or he poses as that knight until the beginning of the Lone Moon. Would be a fun start for the betrayal month. He'd then hide until the big reveal while everyone is freaking out and getting super suspicious of the church. Akakios: Guys, can I get a break for a few weeks? I've faked my death three times now, I've been running from Garreg Mach to the Morfis border and back again, have been running all over the damn monastery for about a month... Ambrose/Schuyler: Not my problem. You wouldn't have had to do any of that if you hadn't screwed up in making one of the other knights look suspicious and ended up getting everyone on my trail instead! Akakios: Oh come on, I more than made up for that, right? Ambrose/Schuyler: IT SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE! Since then I've named the church member and the knight, they're Amatus and Farvald now. Haven't made character forms for them though since they won't appear much before Akakios impersonates them. As for why Yutaka, Tahvo and Larissa are seen as suspicious, that's because the racist cult (the ones for the Verdant Rain Moon Mission) has ignored them completely. That, and because Tahvo and Lara arrived much later than the other students at the beginning of the year. Anyway, at some point Larissa decides to investigate on her own as she's had enough of her and the other two being wrongfully suspected. She wants to find out who's really behind this. Unfortunately for her the spies are prepared for that and one of them captures her. Which brings me to our next point! Instead of having actually killed Ambrose, Julius and Adora the Agarthans have just captured them and keep them imprisoned while Schuyler, Akakios and Keres take their place. And once it's time for the big reveal the agarthans turn their prisoners into Demonic Beasts and use them to attack the monastery. Each class will fight one Beast (the Deer will fight Julius, the Lions fight Larissa, the Eagles fight Adora and the knights have to fight Ambrose) without knowing what those beasts even are. They only find out after slaying them. Well, that is of course if you're okay with that happening to the real Adora. Ember and I already decided to do this with Ambrose and Julius and I made Larissa so the Lions will have to fight a friend as well xD I only suggested the Beast thing because Ember kept coming up with stuff to torment her characters and I was like "Stop this at once or I'll come up with something even worse!" xD How Ember Traumatized The Students And Pine Made It Even Worse In a Failed Attempt To Stop HerPart 2: Get that romantic and platonic crap outta my face, I wanna bully my worthless son, damn it!So. Garland Moon. Women weaving white rose garlands as gifts for close friends and potential lovers. Also the beginning of the rainy season but still a enjoyable month, right? Sure, unless your name happens to be Searc. Because your father will teach you how to spell "useless". Without wasting ink and paper! Uh... yeah, here's how that went. Just quoting almost the whole thing xD Ember: Also so reading a fanfic from a series I read something happened in it to a character and it's like....what if I did this to searc Pine:Oh? Do tell! Given our track record with how we treat some of our characters this is gonna be good! Okay, here it is: So in it!! The character is question is also abused by his father, and during this one scene of them escaping with a group after a plan failed to trick rich people. His father caught him and attempted to kill him, and was carving letters into his neck and asking what they were, he only got one in a 'd', before the character was able to kill his father. The word was gonna be "dunce" per the character not being able to read/write due to being dyslexic And sooo I'm like what if search father does it at some point except the word is useless, since that's how he sees searc, and like it happens either during garland moon cause searc "did something wrong" and it was a punishment oooor it happens maybe some point during neasons missing arc, and again it's a punishment, and thennnnn I started building more to it the more I thought Which is that the father chooses to give aid to the agarathans, if they accept a surface dwellers help, because he wants revenge on the church for driving off the son he cares about, neason, and in the end either the cherith house loses a lot of standing or after they graduate neason has to immediately take over as head cause the dad gets killed/imprisoned So, Ember decided to do the uhm... "word-thing" for the Garland Moon. The mission itself goes well, even Neason isn't as much of an idiot as he usually is. Because he knows his dearest father would punish Searc if anything went wrong. Well, Desai, running for Father of the Year, punishes Searc anyway. His crime? Being better than Neason. And of course he's doing this in front of the whole class. Gotta humiliate his worthless son, right? Oh, and even without that Desai is already super charming: Just thinking about how desai is going to react when he finds put the Golden Deer are all commoners, except for three, boy will he be rude to the rest of the students and searc, only ones he shows respect to being Estelle, neason and philomel (...) just thinks the commoners cant do anything, complains about how the church sent him mostly useless people (...) He would view the beastkin as animals/pets, and I totally see him saying they aren't allowed to use their beast form because they could cause more damage to his territory then is already being done with the mission Also, the other students better nor show pity to Searc. He definitely won't like that and he's likely to avoid his classmates for a while after this mission. Well, that's probably the important stuff about the Garland Moon Mission. As for Desai helping out the Agarthans? Anyway, YES to him giving aid to the agarthans! They'd accept as long as he's useful to them, even if they won't respect him. All that's missing is an explanation of how he found out about the agarthans as they kind of make an effort to remain hidden. Or maybe they're the ones who seek him out? Because they think they could use him? "So, we heard the church kind of chased your son off and you'd like to make them pay for it." Also, there's another option for his fate. Sure, the church could totally deal with him but they're not the only ones... Once the agarthans think Desai has outlived his usefulness they could betray him. Maybe reveal his wrongdoings to the commoners on his land? By not giving themselves away, of course. So the people he failed would decide they've had enough and kill him. Or the agarthans kill him themselves. Or they turn him into a demonic beast. They've probably perfected this "art" by then. Either way, Desai has made a huge mistake in siding with those guys. And I think it would work if they would seek him out, maybe good old schuyler goes to him as ambrose and says yea the church is beign sketch right now, students are missing and they drove your son off, etc etc. Cause why not manipulate a noble with access to money and an army, and potentially knights with crests that they can experiment on and further their research? And yesss it really leaves many things to his fate in the end game, either imprisonment, death or demonic beast transformation And then after neason leaves guardian moon, they go to desai and start working good old manipulation to get him on their side just for the resources he could provide them in their goals for the time being, and maybe even use him as a fall guy should they need to retreat to restatigize Yeah, that would work. Since our spies will meet every now and then to share the information they've gathered so far Akakios would definitely tell Schuyler, Keres and Jason about how Desai is clearly favoring Neason. "Haha, look at those dumb surface dwellers, they really treat their kids like shit if they think they're useless. Good thing we agarthans are better than this. Uh... Keres, Aeschylus, why are you two looking at me like that?" And Schuyler would totally keep it in mind because nobles like that care a lot about their more useful kids and maaan would they hate it if the church would somehow cause them to disappear. "Yeah, so, your son kinda ran away a while ago. And not only did one of the church members treat him like shit but no one is actually looking for him. Oh, and you know what? A few months ago some of our students disappeared. Sure, we rescued them but guess who was behind those disappearances! A weird cult. And some of our more high ranking church members were part of that cult!" Heck, they could even offer Desai a second crest. "Imagine how that could effect your standing. Sure, it will significantly shorten your lifespan and the necessary experiments won't be pleasant but hey, it's worth it!" Yeah, no, they probably won't mention the drawbacks xD And it'd be to their advantage too since they're already working on getting people to distrust the church. With a noble like Desai on their side it'll be even easier since he probably has enough influence to make some of those church secrets public. Sure, the church won't like it and they'd even see him as a threat but hey, it will give even more credibility to those stories. Aand then things got really crazy when one of us suggested that Rossi and/or Luz (Neason's sisters) could also get a second crest. Still wanna do that, Ember? But use Rossi for this! Leave Luz out of it! How Ember Traumatized The Students And Pine Made It Even Worse In a Failed Attempt To Stop Her - Part 3: How to make yourself an orphan - A Beginner's GuideRemember how we said in Part 1 that Neason will leave some time after the Ethereal Moon events? Well, this is the mission where he returns. Just shows up out of no where and joins the Deer on as they're in the middle of their mission. Pegasus Moon with its cold winds and heavy snow. Time to take on some Demonic Beasts again. Three small villages are getting attacked by some monsters. One of them being Ciarra's hometown. Another village is in Adrestia and the third one is in Faerghus, a small town where Néo's parents live. Two things stand out: the Beasts are acting weird and some people of those towns have disappeared. So the Deer set out to take care of the Demonic Beasts in Ciarra's hometown and may or may not investigate a little. Also, Néo will join the Lions as they are fighting beasts in his village. The beasts attacking the villages were made by agarthans, some of those monsters were some of the disappeared students from past years. Also, no one finds out what these beasts are as the agarthans warp them away before anything gets revealed. Some of the beasts were also some of the disappeared townspeople, including Ciarra's parents. Néo's as well. Neither Néo and Ciarra will know the truth at first, all they know is that some people from their villages disappeared but no signs of them being eaten by the beasts. And then the reveal happens and they kinda figure out the awful truth. Akakios will definitely have fun with this. "Hm... some people from your village just disappear and a bunch of unnatural demonic beasts show up, looking nothing like the ones you would usually see... you slay the beasts, and... well, you just saw what gets left behind. I wonder who those beasts from last month were? I'm sure you can figure it out." I wonder if Schuyler would say something similar when the knights and other church people who can fight confront him. "Gee, I wonder what happened to those two rabbits from that village. Any ideas, kid?" ...yeah Part 4: Pine bullies his wolfboy. I bet he kicks puppies, too!Around the time I made Tahvo I was wondering something. Since the church doesn't control the information and knowledge outside Fódlan there might be different views on crests in some places. I was wondering that maybe in some towns or villages in the other countries crests could be seen as a curse. Not in all of them, but maybe in more isolated ones, especially if the people who live there are really superstitious. Well, I decided to do that for Tahvo. Give him even more reason to not want to become his tribe's next chieftain. I like to think that it has been many years since someone of Vanha tribe had a crest so no one really knows what that is. Near the village is some old tomb, where Louhi was buried. It's protected by a barrier and only those who bear her crest can go near it. The wolfskin of the village though think you'll get cursed if you try to break through the barrier. Since Tahvo loves to wander off and enjoys myths, legends and ancient stuff he may as well have tried to get a closer look and, to his friends' horror, could easily go there. Some time later when his training formally begun his crest could have activated for the first time which is why no one noticed it before? And instead of it being known as 'Crest of Louhi' they simply call it 'Louhi's Curse'. If they believed that though then why would they still want Tahvo as their future leader? Unless they think the curse doesn't effect others. Or it's something like "those cursed by Louhi are outstanding leaders but they'll always be betrayed by those closest to them when they take on that position." While it's pretty lame as far curses go it would play really well into Tahvo's fear of loneliness. Once he's leader his friends will be forced to keep their distance or they'll end up betraying him, at least that's what they think and they don't want to betray their friend. And as the leader's son he has no choice but to become his successor. I guess part of him actually believes in that curse, at least a little bit, which makes him feel bad for other crest bearers. He would start to fully believe in those tales when Akakios tries to make him look suspicious of working with the bad guys. Heck, he'd definitely believe in it after the spies reveal themselves. "Well, with this many crest bearers I guess this was bound to happen." So yeah, the wolfskin of Vanha tribe think crests are curses. The crest of Louhi is said to make its bearer an outstanding leader but anyone who's close to him will get corrupted by its power. It's not true of course but that's what they believe. So Tahvo will try his best to make himself look imcompetent. He wants to "prove" that his crest doesn't make him a good leader. Ember and Pine giving their professors some wholesome backstories. Isn't this cute? Just some funny stuff about Orryn and Konstantin when they were students and whoops, someone dumped a whole bag of angst hereIt all started when I was doing some more Incorrect Quotes stuff, this time with Konstantin and his brother Alyosha. Ember remarked that she liked their dynamic and so I went into a bit of the stuff they did
Haha, even though he's become friendlier towards his brother at some point during their childhood I think they'll always keep at least a little bit of their old dynamic. Their own time as students at Garreg Mach had a lot of such interactions. During one of their battle practices Konstantin practised that Rescue spell and deliberately stood near a river. So he ended up dumping his brother into the river, much to Alyosha's dismay and his own entertainment. He may be serious for the most part but he's definitely not above being a little mischievous sometimes xD Just ask the guy who was the House Leader of the Golden Deer that year. That idiot used to think too highly of himself and had way too much fun belittling nobles without a crest and nobles who otherwise don't meet his standards. Alyosha was a pretty slow learner when he was a kid and Konstantin doesn't have a crest so the Deer's leader often got on their nerves, though as Blue Lions it wasn't too hard for them to avoid him. Well, one time when he did run into them and two of their friends they somehow got him to stop messing with them. The unfortunate Deer tried to challenge Alyosha, figuring that he could beat him since he seemed to be one of the weaker Lions. Well... for one, he was wrong about that (though Alyosha doesn't enjoy fighting so he tries to avoid stuff like that) but while he stood there, trying to goad the kid into a fight Konstantin just walked up to him from behind and stuffed a fist full of squashed rosehips down his collar. The hairs inside those fruits can be used as itching powder, you know xD After that the Leader-Deer just did everything he could to avoid any of the Blue Lions. He also was too embarrassed to tell anyone. But now I wonder... if Philomel already was teaching the Golden Deer back then I guess he might have figured something out if he happened to see the poor guy that day. Ugh, now I hope they had a different professor back then, Philomel is definitely smart enough to figure out what went down if he watched the students of the other houses even for a little while. I mean, it would be so awkward now. "Hey, remember that time you pranked one of my students?" "Oh shut up." Oh, and some more trivia about his time as a student: The Golden Deer won the Mock Battle and the Blue Lions won the Battle of the Eagle and the Lion. There's also the fact that Konstantin was banned from the kitchen after the first month. And Alyosha wrote some sort of song or chant for the Lions in case they win one of the tournaments. It's awful and the rhymes suck xD The whole class presented it after the Battle of the Eagle and the Lion and while all of them were cringing on the inside they also had a lot of fun subjecting the other two Houses to this. I think one of the worst things Konstantin did back then was baking some scones that exploded. They looked edible (which already made everyone suspicious of the food) but when the class took a short break when they walked home from a mission they found out what was wrong with the stuff. One kid just looked at a scone for a moment - and threw it against a tree. The scone exploded and a small chunk of the tree trunk got blown off. After seeing that Konstantin tried to convince his brother to try some. "Hey, we don't know if they explode inside of someone." "Well you eat it then!" "I already had to stand in the kitchen. And I beat most of the bandits today. Time for you to put in some effort, Alyosha. Go on, take one for the team." "Hell no! Make our professor eat it!" "Are you crazy? We'd get expelled if we killed one of the teachers!" I should figure out orryns experience more, cause I'd like to think he had to go through multiple years cause his family did something that prevented him from graduating or he had one year and then worked around the monastery because his family refused to let him return home, cause they didn't want an illegitimate child around Maybe have him go through two years and then work around the monastery. Whatever works best for him. Anyway, do you know if the Black Eagles won the Mock Battle or the Battle of the Eagle and the Lion during his time as a student? Or did they lose both? Also, any big incidents? Orryn was the one who first mentioned the disappearances so I suppose they were kind of a big deal during his year as a student? Hmm that works! I'd say blue lions won the mock battle and deer won the battle of eagle and lion is first time through, then the second time deer won the mock battle and eagles won the battle. As for disappearances I'd say his first year only two went missing so it wasn't thought to be to severe. His second time though, 5 went missing so it was a bigger deal. And since I love to put them through angst, one was someone he was close with, and he was blamed for the disappearance but was eventually found innocent but everyone in his house still were suspicious of him and avoided him when they could. During his time working around before being a professor disappearances still occurred but since it was outsiders no one really did anything. And then since he had students that were outsiders he choose to give them the information that students have disappeared in the past, but choose to keep hidden it was only outsiders, in hopes that the students would work to keep each other safe Still tormenting your OCs, I see. Sheesh, his second year sounds awful. Love his reasoning for mentioning the disappearances though. And since it's kind of a big deal some students have already talked about it to the others. I remember that Vincent told Estelle about it and she told Callan and Rekka. And the very next day Callan told Luca about it so I wouldn't be surprised if every student knew about it by now xD Also, during Konstantin's time as a student there was also one incident where one of the Black Eagles got killed by some assassins. Since there are quite some people who don't like the church it's probably not too uncommon for some of them to try and assassinate the archbishop. Like, every other year or something xD Anyway, the Golden Deer guarded the Reception Hall since the archbishop has her quarters on the third floor there, the Black Eagles guarded the Entrance Hall and the Blue Lions had to guard one area where, during that year, a wall was damaged and was likely to be used by unwanted visitors. The gang of assassins had split up, just as the church had expected, but instead of most of them trying to sneak through the 'secret' entrance the largest part of the group used the main gate, knowing fully well that the other parts would be guarded more carefully. I think the Deer had it pretty easy since almost no one managed to reach the Reception Hall. The Lions didn't have too much trouble either because the squad they had to deal with wasn't too strong. The Eagles however had to fight the largest part of the gang and since neither Lions nor Deer were allowed to leave their posts (since they couldn't run the risk of anyone sneaking past them) they were pretty much on their own until the knights returned from their mission. Both Lions and Deer figured out pretty quickly that the ones they were fighting only served to keep them occupied. One of the intruders even laughed at the fact that the strongest members of their group were probably slaughtering the ones at the main gate right now. And with that there just was this weird sense of desperation and hopelessness among the Lions as they knew they couldn't just go and help the Eagles. I think some became even more ruthless against the intruders out of sheer frustration while others kept trying to disobey the orders and run off to support them anyway. And while most of the Lions, including Konstantin and Alyosha, never were super close to the other houses, they too were probably devastated to learn that the Eagles had lost one of their own. I like to think that because of that incident Konstantin absolutely despises assassins and secretly fears missions where the whole monastery has to be defended from those people, especially if multiple places have to be guarded at the same time. Ember: Would be a shame....if the whole church had to be....defended *pulling out book of ideas* Pine: Put that book down before I beat you with it And here are Ember's lovely plans for ElaraSo for the situation for elara and her brother, what I've been planning is he and his group, with plans to kill elara, and 1) sends a member of his group to try get close to Elara to get her to trust them and when that happens trying to get her out of the school grounds and where the group is hiding to kill her,, but some other students figure it out and follow to help her get away 2) her brother attacks a village that has some kind of significance to the two of them, and Elara despite her fears of her brother, tries to recruit a few students to go with her to talk to him but ends in a fight 3) she has been receiving letters from him, showing he has figured out the ploy their parents had done, with plans to try attack the school[potentially has aligned with the agarathans, but similar to how they would work with desai, they are just using him to further their own objectives) 3a) potentially they use the attack to cover up something they are doing, qnd when they finish they pull their people back/whatever aid they gave him away, because they no longer need him So in the end Ember combined 1 and 2. Also, Elara develops feelings for that person who was tasked with getting her to trust them. And her paralogue takes place in the same month as the Battle of the Eagle and the Lion. Thanks to her traumatizing paralogue though her classmates aren't sure if she even wants to participate Pine being a jerk to some characters tooImma be a little bit mean to Vincent At some point the students will find out what happens when someone without a crest tries to wield a relic. And during one of the later missions or paralogue (still before Tahvo's) the Eagles or the paralogue group will deal with too many and too strong opponents and Vincent will consider letting an enemy keep a stolen relic or, if they don't have one, to hand over his own to the opponent to force them to turn into a Demonic Beast, so that the monster will kill its own allies and the Eagles/pralogue group will have a better chance. As in, let the Beast take down most of the baddies and then our good guys can take down the monster. While Vincent doesn't actually do it (won't give the enemy his relic or will insist on retaking whatever relic the baddies stole) because the church sent some knights as reinforcements for our good guys he's still horrified for having even considered such a thing. To make things worse, what made him decided against it is that he was worried how his friends and classmates would perceive him if he had gone through with it or even voiced his idea. Yes, he also didn't want to do it because it's pretty ****ed up but the other thing was the main reason and he is disgusted with himself that this was what ultimately made him decide against it And Jasmine too but hey, it's an important first step to get over her hatred for the people of Sreng Jasmine and a few knights will get to join the Lions for a mission or paralogue at the border to Sreng. The captain specifically requests this to test her though they don't tell her about that. Anyway, there's a small group from Sreng who wants to cause another conflict between their country and Faerghus and the Lions have to catch them before either side decides to fight. The Lions succeed and are supposed to bring that group they captured to Garreg Mach. Well, turns out two members of that group were the ones who killed Jasmine's parents all those years ago. The captain of the Knights of Seiros knew about that since they've investigated that group and specifically chose to send Jasmine with the Lions because of that. One of the knights or Konstantin (who's been told about this secret test) will then tell Jasmine that she can do whatever she wants with those prisoners and that while they were ordered to take that gang alive no one will have to know if she decides to kill them, that the knights and the students will keep quiet about it and just claim that they had to kill those baddies in self defense. Konstantin will also secretly order his students to step in if Jasmine does try to kill those two guys and will also interfere himself. Well, fortunately it's not even necessary since Jasmine decides against it, saying that she's not gonna disobey Hera and the captain just to get revenge. Also, she realizes that she just doesn't have it in her anyway. She's still gonna give those two baddies a piece of her mind and punch them of course. And then the knights will reveal to her that this was a test and that she's shown that she really is ready to go on missions that have to do with Sreng. So that's something at least. After the mission Konstantin will tell Jasmine to go help her sister with greenhouse or stable duties, knowing full well that after facing those who have killed her parents she'll need someone to talk to and thus indirectly ordering her to do just that. Also, while he understands this test was necessary he also thinks it was pretty cruel of the captain to send Jasmine on this specific mission and tempt her into potentially getting revenge on those she hates so much. Same goes for Lara and Agnar, they see where the captain of the knights is coming from but also think this was a bit much. But yeah, after this mission Jasmine will start to be a little less antagonistic towards Megumi and Néo and almost fully accepting of Imrie Nothing too bad either but I'll also be a little mean to Callan I kinda like how violent and bloodthirsty he tends to be in some of our incorrect quotes and now I want this to be an actual thing. And thanks to his personal skill he already has the potential to be a little violent. Well, he still starts out normal but after the first real mission he slowly begins to enjoy all this fighting though he doesn't realize it yet. It gets even worse after we make use of his personal skill for the first time. He's trying to take down as many enemies as possible, showing no sign of hesitating even a little. No big deal at first, it's just how he gets when he tries to protect his classmates. But eventually he realizes that while he's not quite as aggressive under normal circumstances in battle he's still a little too eager to fight. That he loves the excitement and thrill of battle. It takes him a while to realize this but once he does it terrifies him. He starts to wonder if this is just who he is or if all these crazy events have turned him into this and he worries if it'll only get worse the more battles they have to fight
