I hope some things will come naturally, such as certain motifs sticking out for a name or certain cats being more suited for certain positions, but it's still nice to have some suggestions and nominations so we know what kind of things we should be looking for. these wont be picked until they reach the new clan grounds.
Clan name suggestions:
Leader nominations: Sleekfeather
Deputy nominations: Halfstep
Medicine cat/apprentice nominations: Domino, Whisperingbreeze
I'm also interested if there are any plot ideas or character interactions you guys might want to see happen.

Sounds good! And yeah, I’m really excited to see where it takes our characters. Such good plot points that can come about while they’re traveling, and after they arrive! I love some good drama!

Same with my cats being open for mates. Mooneye would take a bit, but who knows? He might be able to love again. Even though he hasnt showed up yet, Domino on the other hand is a huge flirt.
As for medicine cats, with how fee cats remain, I personally think Starclan would be lacking foresight to look the other way. I'm not a huge fan of the rule.

Don’t you just hate that lol? Like having perfect scenes for an animation in your head but you can’t draw/animate to save your life? A constant struggle for me 😅 I cannot draw

Haven also, I think I might adopt Rainsong, I love the name and feel like we need a few more MeadowClan cats, other than the nameless small groups we’ve got for each to account for anyone joining later lol. Idk, maybe MeadowClan doesn’t have one? That it’s just named cats? Idk

runningsky123 Nope, no specifics on Rainsong. Make up whatever you want for them. Mooneye is open to family and then obviously you and Sootfeather have the other meadowclan cats. I added named cats to adopt just so there was some precendent and common ground. The clans wouldnt feel empty with just two active characters per clan and they were just npc cats anyone could puppet as needed. Someone could say Rainsong was their mentor and someone else could say they chatted with them on patrol, etc. But I also didnt want to tie up the name, so people are allowed to claim them as their own or make whatever new cats they wanted.

Haven gotcha. I made him Mooneye’s cousin, and I think I might have him show up the next morning. Thinking he got ahead of the fire, but the wave knocked him out but left him above the water, so he was basically unconscious for the night before heading to the Steps

I noticed the drawing added to the art corner! You have a nice art style. And Goldenheart is huge
I have also spent way too much time daydreaming about making a JtNL animation. I have no idea how I'd edit together something like that though

Thank you! I adore your style. I love Slatepaw's coat pattern so much.
Do you know what song you would choose if you could animate one?
I used to script animation ideas all the time for characters in roleplays, but I've never been able to push myself to learn animation besides bouncing balls.
And yes, Goldenheart is a gentle giant. He probably has maine coon in him. I see his sisters as being larger but not as large. Meanwhile Halfstep is almost munchkin in how short she is. Her legs arent as stubby, but they're not far off. I want to redraw her in a pose where you can see it better.

Honestly you both make me incredibly jealous lol I can’t draw to save my life 😅 I used to draw super cartoonish cats back in my Warriors heyday, but that was a long time ago

Yeah, he was fun to design! I was pretty happy with how he turned out, though I might make a few minor changes whenever I get around to drawing him again. And I forgot that Halfstep has such short legs lol
The slow build up of tension in the last third of the song "Coyote" by Mako has been on my mind, but I've been trying to think of a more fitting song with a similar effect. No idea if I'd ever actually get around to making something though

 Yeah, I didn't translate her height well when I drew her sitting. I did this up real quick to show how big she is compared to Goldenheart. Goldenheart, Emberkit, and Halfstep are so far the only cats I'm really happy with their designs. I got lazy with Mooneye's stripes and Rabbitpaw's design in general. They may change a bit later. I just have no clue how I really want Rabbitpaw to look besides that she has long legs. I thought I was going in this with Mooneye being my favorite character because I've used him before, but Halfstep is actually fun to play. She's just a bundle of nerves with a good head on her tiny shoulders. I imagine a cat so small would have been looked at a certain way growing up. Like, wondering if she could grow up to be a useful warrior, and she's had to figure out her own way of doing things to keep up with her fellow apprentices. It's likely why leaving was easier for her than sticking it out and making her clanmates listen. Out of curiosity. If you guys had to attribute theme songs to your cats, do you know what they would be? |

Halfstep is tinyyy. It's interesting how that may have affected her choice to leave
I haven't had Slatepaw and Mothfeather long enough to have theme songs for them! Though I'm sure it'll be on my mind next time I'm listening to music
