Which do you prefer? For me it’s both, but the forest territories are better.

The forest, it's the og setting. But that's not to say I dislike the lake territories.

Forest by a long shot. Way more memorable and interesting landmarks. I can maybe only name one landmark in the entirety of the lakes.

Forest. It always felt more imaginative. I’m not saying I can’t picture the lake setting in my mind while reading, however; the Forest always felt so mysterious and I could almost relive the setting as I read about it. Maybe it is because I only read TPB as a kid, and it felt magical when I was so young compared to reading about the Lake as a late teen/young adult.

Forest. I love all the landmarks and generally prefer forest territory locations to their lake equivalents, with the exception of the Moonpool because imo Moonpool > Moonstone

Forest territory. So much opportunity, unlike the lake territory. Every clan seems so far apart.

Forest territory. Like what everyone else said I can probably say all of the landmarks and all of the clans can interact with each other easily unlike the Lake territory were we have no clue what Riverclan is doing at all.

Forest territory has a lot more interesting stuff in it. The only thing the lake territories have is the lake, which is often more of a narrative hindrance than anything.

The forest territories had so many great landmarks and was really interesting to read about. The lake territories just seem bland.

There's an advantage the Forest has over the Lake: tradition. We've had the time from DoTC through TPB to establish crazy stories and establish important landmarks. Meanwhile, the time between TNP and ASC is not long in comparison, and it gives making RP lore over a few months when you had a previous RP that went on for a solid number of years.

Moonstone > Moonpool Forest > lake By a long shot The moonstone and the forest territories felt much more mysterious. I could picture/live in the forest way easier than the lake. No offense to the lake and moon pool, but they just sub par... lmao

I started reading the books at The Sight, so I feel more in love with the lake at first. But now that I’ve read about the forest, the more I like the forest and Moonstone better. There’s a certain charm to it.

I'm torn because overall the forest didn't have a massive lake dividing the clans so much, but.. shadowclan was starving and lived next to a landfill.

Forest territories are to OG to be beaten by the lake. Too many memories were made in the forest and shan't be forgotten in this new territory. In my own fan book, I also wrote of tribes moving from they're old forest from the invasion of two-legs. It was quite fun to write about.

I like them both Sort of Equally, but I also miss four-trees and the Clans being closer together. Along with it feeling less like the cats have to travel 59648 miles To go anywhere new

My clan is based in the forest, although I've extended the geography.
