Raven, a young black tom, lived most of his life in the forest with the company of his old friend Feather, who had raised him as if he were her own kit when hit parents had been killed during a fox attack. Raven couldnโt have been happier with his friend and they lived through many peaceful and hard times, but with each passing day Feather became older, more weak and frail. Raven vowed to take care of her, keeping her safe, hunting for her, and staying at her side at all times. On the night of her last breath Feather looked up at Raven and saw that the one she had raised had grown into a powerful and caring cat and told him that she saw a leader in him, protecting and caring for many cats. Raven was filled with grief when she died. He spent countless moons wandering the forest he had grown up in, meeting both welcoming and dangerous cats and his dreams were filled with many cats working together and helping each other. It wasnโt until he helped a queen and her kits from a badger that he wanted to do more for the cats who lived in the forest. Raven began to speak with cats to join with him to form a group, a Clan where they could live and hunt together, helping each other and protecting the queens and elders. Soon many cats had joined him and he established RavenClan becoming its first leader and receiving his name Ravenstar and nine lives from his ancestors and the cats he had known. Many moons have passed since Ravenstar ruled the Clan and now Spottedstar hopes to lead her Clan just as well as the leaders before her.
1. Follow all Forum Rules and Ghost Rules as well as the Warrior Code
2. Be courteous and respectful to everyone, no bullying or being rude of any sorts. Please be welcoming and helpful to others and try not to leave anyone out. I want everyone to feel welcomed and included.
3. LGBTQ cats are welcome!
4. No swearing (only cat swearing is allowed)
5. No god-modding or rping other's characters, unless you've had permission to do so. And no killing other's characters unless they are ok with it.
6. No kit-stealing, kit-killing, and no force-mating.
7. Please try and be active, I understand that most have school or other things to do and won't be able to get on as much and I'm ok with that. I don't like deleting anyone so I'll keep your character here. Please let me know ahead of time if you'll be gone for a long period of time.
8. For those of you who have important roles such as Deputy or Medicine Cat and haven't been active for some time, I will remove you from that position and place you as a Warrior or Apprentice, depending on what role you had, and give a more active member the position.
9. Please be realistic, no powers, wings, or odd colored fur or patterns.
10. You may create multiple cats, there is no limit, just as long as you can handle all of them.
11. Please be literate, no text talk please.
12. Use ( ), [ ], or { } when not rping.
13. No spamming please, you are allowed to come in and ask for someone or ask a question, but that is all.
14. I love suggestions on plots for the clan and I think they are really fun and great, but please if you think of something let me know and ask for my permission first before you start up something big such as a prophecy or battle that involves the whole clan. Simpler plots and ideas such as love interests, minor fights with predators or things between characters, you don't need my permission for but make sure it's ok with others if it involves them.
15. If you have any questions or concerns at any point o the rp please ask or let me know, I'm always willing to help out or adjust things for you.

*Note* It's come to my attention that there are lots of questions about whether an Apprentice can have crushes on Warriors, or even leaders. In this clan I will accept Apprentices having crushes on Warriors or Leaders, or the other way around, but they are not allowed to become mates until the Apprentice is a Warrior and of age.

RavenClan's camp is located in a ravine in the heart of the forest and at the base of the mountains. The camp sits beneath a small cliff-face with the forest beyond the front of the camp. In the ravine the camp is sheltered from the wind as well as protected from the rear. Gorse barriers, rocks and boulders, and trees create a protected and sheltered border around the rest of the camp.
- Tall Rock : Tall Rock is a large boulder in the center of the camp where the leader sits to hold clan meetings. Kits like to play around it while Apprentices like to try and attempt to climb and reach the top.
- Drinking Pool : At the top of the cliff-face along the ravine, there is a small spring that trickles water down the face of the cliff into a small pool at the edge of the camp. It is an easy source of water for the cats in the Clan, though, during the hotter green-leafs the spring can dry up, since it is mostly snow melt from the mountains.
- Leader's Den, Medicine Cat's Den, and Nursery : These dens are hollows or caves in the cliff-face of the ravine. The leader's den is the highest off the ground with a small pathway leading up to it while the other two dens are on ground level. These dens are well sheltered and have vines and ivy covering the entrances.
- Warrior's Den, Apprentice's Den, and Elder's Den : These dens are located along the edges of the camp. They are all well protected and sheltered with brambles and bushes that the Warrior's have woven together to keep the weather out. The Elder's Den is closest to the Drinking Pool.
- Entrance : The entrance of the camp leads out into the forest.
- Cliff Path : There is a lesser used path along the cliff-face of the ravine that is well hidden with boulders and ivy tendrils. Cats use this to sneak out of camp sometimes when they don't want to be seen leaving the main entrance or the path is used as an escape route during an emergency.

(She-cat --- Leader)
Spottedstar is a silver spotted tabby she-cat with darker flecks in fur and a nick in her ear and soft, kind blue eyes. She has a white muzzle, white paws and part of her legs, and white chest and belly fur. Spottedstar was recently made leader after the previous leader, Duststar, died from old age. She is fairly young for a leader and though she hopes to serve and protect her clan for many moons, she often doubts herself and wonders if the others feel as if she's a good leader like Duststar was. She often likes to take walks in the forest, especially during the sunrise or sunset during new-leaf or leaf-fall, to clear her mind of things or think things over, liking the fresh air of the forest. She has grown more mature and wise over her years and is a patient cat, always willing to listen to her clanmates. Spottedstar is a quick thinker and swift and skillful in hunting and often likes to participate in hunting or border patrols. She is kind and and friendly to her clanmates, and though she has no mate or kits she is protective of her clan like a queen to her kits and wants what's best for them. She will neither run or flee from an attack or battle and will plant herself firmly in front of her opponent and fight, holding her ground and willing to give all her lives to keep her clan and everyone safe.

~Dappledlight~
(She-Cat --- Warrior)
Dappledlight is a light tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes and has a slightly fluffy tail. She is a very sweet and soft spoken cat and is always kind towards her clanmates. She will, however, speak out if she feels that something isn't right, even speaking out against the leader or deputy at times, only wanting whats best for her clan and the safety of her clanmates. Dappledlight is a polite and patient cat and is always willing to help out with her clanmates if they need anything. She is strong and loyal to her clan and would risk her life to keep her clan safe and standing her ground in a fight. She is a skillful hunter, being light and quiet on her paws, and always enjoys a good hunting patrol. Dappledlight is a bit shy at first when meeting someone for the first time but once she feels comfortable with someone she is a nonstop chatter. While usually being a calm and patient cat she has a fear of heights and falling, when put into these situations she freezes in fear, unable to do anything. With that she prefers to stay on ground level rather than up high.

Runningtail is a small silver tabby tom with blue eyes. His fur is a light silver color with darker stripes that run along his body ending in rings around his tail. He is a swift and cunning hunter as well as fighter, he may lack in strength and power due to his smaller size but makes up for it with his agility. His small size can be a downfall though when he is against larger enemies that could easily throw him to the side or kill him, he needs to rely on his swiftness against a larger enemy. Runningtail is kind and friendly towards his clanmates but is an authority type and can be a bit stubborn at times. He is respectful to his clanmates and has matured over the years, once being an overly-excited, energetic, and rambunctious apprentice, now a calm and respectful Senior Warrior. As a kit and an apprentice he used to get into trouble all of the time that it's hard to believe the cat he has become now. He however still talks too much, and likes to chat with others. He is patient, especially around younger cats, his authority yet calm nature making him a good mentor or trainer. Runningtail is an excellent tracker, with keen ears, a good sense of smell, and well trained eyes he has learned to pick out any little detail in the forest that indicate that either prey, predator, or another cat had passed through. He is always willing to go on border patrols and hunting patrols, especially liking to lead them.

Sunleap is a light ginger tabby tom with bright yellow eyes. He has white feet as well as a white muzzle and long powerful legs. He is an outgoing and adventurous cat, he loves to chat and talk with other and is a very patient and friendly cat. He is always willing to help others and willing to go on patrols. He is skilled in climbing trees and rocks due to his long and powerful legs and is always wanting to climb to the tallest points of the trees. He is a protective cat and is willing to give his life for the clan and his clanmates. He has a kink in his tail due to an accident where he fell out of a tree and broke it. During his apprenticeship he wanted to challenge himself and climb one of the tallest trees in the territory, as he neared the top one of the branches he was on broke and he fell. He smashed his tail against a thick branch on the way down and broke it and since then it's always had a kink in it. Despite the accident Sunleap still likes to climb trees and challenge himself to climb higher.

~Shadowfeather~

Shadowfeather is a sleek black she-cat with a semi-fluffy tail and fur and green eyes. She is a swift and sly cat, sort of a trickster as well as mysterious. She, however, is loyal to the clan and her clanmates, being patient and calm in most situations. She is feisty as well as a powerful fighter when in battle, being swift and quick-witted, she is also a silent and skilled hunter. She has a nick in her right ear and a scar along her cheek. Shadowfeather is a soft-spoken cat, tending to be quiet most of the time, but likes to listen to others chat and talk. Even though she is quiet and mysterious she rarely snaps or gets angry at her clanmates, one would have to really upset her or provoke her. She has a fear of drowning and tends to stay away from large bodies of water or be very careful when around them. She has a nick in her right ear and a scar along her cheek. Shadowfeather lived her life as a rogue when she was a young cat, going by the name Shadow. Her parents were killed when she was young and she was forced to live and survive on her own in the wild. Another group of rogues lived in the same forest and would always steal her prey and even attack her. Shadow learned how to evade them, and learned how to sneak around them without being seen or her. She became more sly and began to mess with them, becoming a trickster. The rogues did not like it and devised a plan to get rid of her, even killing her if they had to. The time came to attack her when Shadow was out for a stroll along the edge of a raging river. The rogues attacked her and thrown off guard, she was flung into the river. Due to her long fur and lack of swimming, Shadow feared for her life and fell into unconsciousness as she went over a waterfall. She washed up along the shore of RavenClan's territory and there she woke up, wanting to be as far away from the river she ran blindly forward, fear driving her forward until she came trembling to the clan. Since then Shadowfeather has had a fear of water and drowning and a dislike towards outsiders. She rarely speaks of her past to others, and has become quiet and distant.

Sagepaw is a light sandy colored she-cat with very faint tabby markings in her short fur and bright yellow eyes. She has white paws, though most of the time they are covered in dust and dirt from her running around and getting into things, and a white muzzle. She is a slender and swift cat, always playful and energetic and a smile upon her face. She's got a nick in her ear after getting tangled up in a thorn bush yet is proud and boastful about it as if it were a battle wound. Sagepaw is a very bright and talkative cat, wanting to learn new things and explore everything, ready for adventure. She's usually a sweet and soft spoken cat but can become feisty, in a playful way, especially when a challenge is presented to her. She wishes to become a great Warrior for her clan.

(Hey there VIXENCLAW! How have you been? And yes I promise you that I am still doing this clan, I know it's been awhile but I still have intentions of opening this clan at some point, I've just been so swamped with school and work and it seems that every time I feel like I'll have the time to work on it something else just seems to pop up. However, it's my spring break next week and maybe I'll have the chance to finally open this clan up, really it's just little things that I need to finish up. Thank you so much though that you're still interested in RavenClan, and it makes me feel really happy that this was your favorite clan back on the old forums, you give me more motivation to open it up!) |
