Need for Speed: Heat
The handling of this game is absolute dogshit to try to maneuver, Even after sinking almost 8 hours into it one day it still felt impossible and it was still early on and I felt like I couldn't progress. I even switched between trying to use keyboard and controller or frankenstein both at once but the way turning or god forbid drifting worked was so asinine. The only reason I even tried to stubbornly stick with it is because once you buy it they have a no-refund policy. I regret this game more than anything. I miss Pro Street Racing and Need 4 Speed on the playstation 2.

Sun Haven
I went into this game just hoping for a better customizable and higher fantasy Stardew... and you *kinda* get that, to an extent. But the dialogue and romance options are some of the most genuinely terrible cringeworthy npcs imaginable. If you aren't either 12 years old like the dialogue sounds like it was written by or an incel/weeb/neet/all of the above desperate for every female characters personality to be boobs and no male characters of interest at all please pass. Like literally, go look at the Sun Haven wiki for a second and every female romance option is like, high-detailed and for some reason huge and perfectly circular boobs meanwhile the males have next to no detail, less personality, and are the most boring ever. This game has an audience and it isn't me. The only thing it really has going for it is like, the pixel art is really pretty and quite charming but. I refunded it.

Digimon World Dawn and Dusk
I had these games as a kid. I didn't know a damn thing about Digimon. That became the entire problem because they don't explain anything to you they assume you already know which actually makes it impossible to play or progress the story. At the time I played there also was no "go online and look it up" because that didn't really exist for anything except super popular games and that's ruined my view on digimon ever since. Maybe I should give it another go but idk. I just remember being like 13 and getting so frustrated I literally started crying lol.

Jump Force
That Shonen jump game that kinda just threw every manga/anime character into a fighting game and said go ham? Yeah... I wanted so SO bad to love it but what passes for story is pretty tedious. Oh go here, fight this guy, recruit them. Over and over and OVER AND OVER every single mission for EVERYONE. I was so bored by the end I just wanted to finish the game and be done with it. It kinda hurts that they didn't put in the kind of effort that I think shonen fans deserved and would have paid for. A lot of people had good expectations especially given the trailers and were let down. They have already shut the online servers down too which means buying it at all is pretty pointless.

Besides that I think another of ny biggest faults with it is the lack of style direction. It seems like for some of the characters, like lesser known and older characters such as ones from City Hunter, Saint Seiya, Bleach, and some that were designed specifically for Jump Force itself all have a pretty uniform looking design as far as how they were modeled and shaded. Meanwhile the Naruto and Dragon Ball characters look like they were literally ripped from Ultimate Ninja and Xenoverse respectively and just slapped some new shaders on. They look SO out of place standing next to others and it goes beyond just their normal stylization from their respective universes. There's also no real/good animation for simple things like WALKING outside of combat as well as other animations during cutscenes clipping or sometimes just like standing there blankly during a critical moment where emotion should have been expressed. Its like the entire budget went to making things just look as flashy as possible they forgot to program the basics. (And also in doing so, made it lag like hell. And you don't want fighting games to lag because its crucial for getting in hits and not dying.)

My last complaint alao doesn't matter much since like I said, they already took down online play because by the end of it no one was playing it for reasons above, but there were a lot of characters who were just completely busted in online. Welcome to a lobby of nothing but Toshiro and Pegasus.

oh yeah another one thats less "so bad its horrible" and more "so bad its hilarious" is Two Worlds. I have to assume its what playing elder scrolls is like to people who hate elder scrolls. the voice acting alone is something else

On a whim I went to go look at what the price of the sims 4 would be to actually buy everything and have a complete game and i'm not going to do the extra math for some of the sales and discounts that are currently on steam but the total would be $785.09 usd not including tax.

Pretty sure I paid at least 500 bucks of those almost 800 ones. Granted most of that was thanks to my mother (since I was still a teen back then and for the most part of this game coming out) but still.
