I loved Snowfalls POV. it was basically snowfall discovers empathy with a therapist (lynx). The different POVs were really great, and I thought they worked really well to further the plot and Snowfall as a character. I think a good comparison of the "dragon discovers strange power" idea done badly is Moons POV. Moons powers are only really a tool to propel the plot and don't really seem to do much for moon as a character. I have so much to say about Moon but I'll save that for another thread....

The memory thing is such an interesting concept making the book really fun to read.
