So we see in Onestar’s Confession that Onestar doesn’t go to the Gathering when Whitetail is having his kits, and Ashfoot stood in for him. When Squirrelflight was having her kits, Bramblestar would most likely not go to the Gathering. But then who stood in for Bramblestar and Squirrelflight at the Gathering? A senior warrior? Did ThunderClan just… not go to the Gathering? (I’m sorry if this is a stupid question or one that’s already been answered, I just wanted to know.)

Either Bramblestar still attended the Gathering (although I don't remember if Squirrelflight even had her kits on a full moon, to be honest) or he did indeed choose someone else to go for him (my guess would be Graystripe since he had experience with that as Firestar's previous deputy before Brambleclaw/star).

I don’t think this was an issue, as the chance that Squilf had her kits on the full moon is pretty slim (1/30 chance, right?)

I doubt Squirrelflight had her kits on the night of the gathering. Though, it's not unheard for for a senior warrior, or perhaps a medicine cat, to represent the leader if they're unavailable.

Also, if Squirrelflight had had her kits within a few days of the Gathering, Bramblestar probably wouldn’t have gone either. Juniperkit and Dandelionkit’s deaths could factor in too.
