A friend gave me "Into the Wild" the first book. I read the prologue and it was really boring. (The prologue's don't say any character names so I wasn't that interested.) Later I decided I should try reading it again and I skipped past the prologue. After that I was hooked. But the Into the Wild prologue does state multiple character names though? It's first from Tigerclaw's PoV during the night battle at sunningrocks with ThunderClan vs. RiverClan and then from Bluestar's perspective back in ThunderClan's camp where Spottedleaf is also mentioned by name and then receives the fire prophecy. Oakheart is the first name to be uttered in it (by Tigerclaw) and Mousefur as well as Redtail get mentioned too. My bad. My memory of my first reading is a little fuzzy. Maybe it's more the fact that I had no idea what was going on than the lack of character names. My friend didn't tell me much about the series more than, "It's about cats."

My parents divorced and I had to transfer schools in the sixth grade. The school I attended had a small selection of Warriors and my very first book was Cats of the Clans. I quickly found myself interested in the universe the cats live in and I started checking out books left and right, eventually buying my own books. Warriors healed the hurt, inner child I carried around that I had to forget about due to having to grow up a little too early. I’m now 23 and every day I still think about the books, the cats, my own OCs, etc. My escapism turned into maladaptive daydreaming. I no longer buy the books because of embarrassment? But I still keep up with the forums and the wiki. I thank the Erins for giving me these books but I also wonder if there’ll come a day I’ll quit thinking about them.

Neopets roleplay guilds introduced me. I got moonrise as a gift cuz my mom couldn't find the first so she thought the second would be okay. Little did I know that was actually the 8th or something . I still loved it and loved the journey cats.

I don't exactly remember, but I think I was scrolling on my Kindle and found the first book, downloaded it, and fell in love with the series. So I got more of the books and here I am.

I was going through all the books on my shelf in elementary school (4th grade to be specific) and saw one had the back pages glued together. I told my mom I didn’t want it because the pages ripped a bit when I separated them and it was “ruined”. My mom said I shouldn’t throw away a book that’s still in good condition and to keep it. I started reading it and soon told my mom I wanted more, who said to finish it to see if I actually liked it and she’d get more if I did. The book was Battles of the Clans💀 I finished it and off to Books a Million we went. I wanted to get Fire and Ice because the title sounded cool, but the guy working there said that was the second book and to get Into the Wild. It all went downhill from there lmao.
I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and always preferred books from an animals POV. The way animals (specifically dogs and cats) can express emotions and communicate in these types of books better than humans has always drawn me in. Since Warriors was the only series I read religiously back then, I actually learned a lot of words and better ways to describe things. Even though there are a lot of things about this series that gives me a migraine and makes me want to explode, I will continuously eat it up no matter what. It’s been a bit over 10 years since I started reading and I don’t plan on stopping

@swaggycassie thankfully a friend told me which book was the first one so no problems there, but another friend of mine wasn't as lucky and started on freaking LOST STARS. One of my friends started at SkyWe need to find the legend who plans to start at the upcoming Ultimate Guide.

My first experience with warriors was when my juniour high english teacher was trying to get me to read actual books, cause all I would read were books with pictures. She knew I loved animals so she recommended the series to me. I refused at first, but then I saw the "Rise of Scourge" comic and was hooked. I was dumb though and started on "The power of three" because I thought through the Rise of scourge I already knew everything I needed to know ;-;

A friend introduced me to the series when we were kids. I started with Midnight and loved it.
