For those of you who don't know, a Change My Mind thread is a thread where you can debate me about certain characters, and try to make me change my opinion. Just ask why I love/hate/etc a character to start the debate. I thought I'd post one to normalize things around here.

This is a first for both myself, and the new forums.

Rules:

No calling cats Sues/Stus. However, you may suggest that they have Sueish qualities, if you have good reason.

Be respectful of my opinions, and I will be respectful of yours.

No flaming, harassing, or insulting.

Don't start prattling about a character right away. Ask for my argument first.

If you don't see the character you want to debate on this list, just ask for my opinion.

I'm neutral on her. I didn't like the way she behaved in TNP, such as the way she treated Brightheart. She also expected to be fed and watered without contributing to the Clan in return. Luckily, she snaps out of this mindset. Throughout PoT and OoTS, her character became much more tolerable.

She didn't really stand out to me that much. Her personality seemed too much like the stereotypical nurturing queen. I'm not going to call her a kit machine or anything like that, because that's gross and wrong. I also respect her decision to focus on having children.

Still, I wish she had gotten involved in the action more. The only time Ferncloud participated in a battle (as a warrior/queen) that we know of is the DF battle in TLH. The only reason she fought in that battle was because the kits needed protection.
