Well that’s good ^^’ because I don’t think my brain will compute with him having any other accent- and yeah! I’m kind of liking how they might play out! Zinnia needs some actual friends he doesn’t think are gonna backstab him if he takes one wrong step.

And huh! That’s an interesting dynamic. Speaking of complicated, I’m quite excited for Boz and Alice to meet officially!

Mhm! Kinda thinking the same thing there. Zinnia is very jumpy, he’s simultaneously on the constant verge of insults, and also fearing he’ll upset someone enough to try and.. well, he’s a tiny guy. So one could step on his paw and suddenly he has no leg.

Yeah! I thought it felt fitting as well!!
And.., that’s literally exactly what’s happened with me ;-; I haven’t even made it past the final boss of the first game yet. I slightly suck at rogue type games, so it’s a process ;-;

Pffft, I mean, he is verrry tiny, so it really depends on which cat steps on his toes.. anyway- omg a cheetah and their support dog feels very accurate ;-; Plus, I think Zinnia can probably, though hesitantly, introduce Milo more properly to the forest. Zinnia is very much in taking the route safest for himself, but if he’s asked to, he might do it!

Especially further on, he’d actually be so happy to have a companion out there.

And I…. Was so siked. I thought I was close[: I was not close at all. Sad sad. I will use that advice once I have access to my pc again though, I’ll just go throw myself at that game and go smack some people to death. Honestly the thing that always gets me is the little witches or the snek.

With that in mind I reckon ventures in the forest would be they're most common bonding point, especially since Milo is more than happy to accompany him pretty much anywhere if he allows it - he thrives in social outings
It's very much going to be a friendship at Zinnia's pace which Milo will be more than happy to accommodate c:

I feel that - the game got me more than once with bosses having more than one phase ;-; additional phases or entire new move sets at half health were always (and lowkey still are) my downfall. at this point I fully intend to dedicate myself to it again so I can finish it out cause I have to get my hands on the second game - it's so urgent (it's not, I just really want it)
The witches are the bane of my existence - I think I hate them in Elysium the most. Even when I got somewhat good at the game they never failed to take me out at least once
I think my next most hated are actually a satyr's and their poison spit because they're obnoxious and I can never seem to dodge fast enough to get away from them ;-;

also, it's past my bed time if I want to be useful at work tomorrow - I'll get Milo's reply up probably during work~

Gray Sky // With Kuta Myst

After a full season circle of travel, all he truly wanted to do was rest. Perhaps he could spend the rest of his long life in solitude, in the dip of earth near the base of the mountains where he’d made his new home. Of course, that sounded to be an ideal plan. If it weren’t for his need to eat and drink. A life where he could trade his everyday needs in order to never interact with any creature ever. Yes, it would be all too much to ask for.

Gray Sky gave a huge paw one last lick. He’d spent a long day exploring and his rough pads hadn’t grown used to the softness of the terrain after a years travel climbing the tallest peaks. It had been long before he left the valley since the last time his paws touched such soft terrain…

Never mind. I will not dwell on what has already been. He had vowed that to himself as soon as he escaped. And he reminded himself every time those fond memories replayed in his head. This was Gray Sky’s new life. His life of peace and solitude. The shadows of his troubled history would not take that away from him. Or maybe he was being too cruel. After his journey, Gray Sky had had more than enough time to reflect and forgive the actions of the kinship. He held no hatred in his heart towards them. The long-furred cat just wanted to move on from that time onto his new life. But, certainly, remembrance couldn’t hurt every now and then? Could he really scold himself for not forgetting what had once been the only place and cats he knew and loved?

Gray Sky grunted. His reflecting was no where near as done as he’d assumed. This new land had proved it. In just a moon he’d thought more about the kinship than he ever had during his travels. Was it a bad omen? Was there something that forced cats to face their traumas hidden in its deaths? Nonsense, don’t be bird-brained.

The powerful tom emerged from his den, welcoming the cool, crisp air. Icetime was no where near as cold as it was back in his own home, that was something he relished about this new place. All around him, yellow heather stretched, stiff and brittle from the cold, as far as he could see. Patches of snow dotting the land here and there. When Gray Sky first descended it had all been a winter wonderland, but the snow had melted since then. If his calculations were correct, it would be leafrise soon. Unless the weather was different below the mountains as well.

But that was not the strangest thing, no. His heart had plummeted into his belly when he saw, way in the distance, the army of trees that reached up to the sky. The tallest trees he had ever lain eyes on. Gray Sky decided it must have been a forest. A senior’s tale that even he knew. But the tabby had not dared to venture and explore. There was cat scent all around this environment, and Gray Sky wanted no parts. He had even ran into a few in his short time.

The first, a small, pitiful, thing, scared out of it’s fur when Gray Sky’s huge form pushed through the gorse with his teeth bared. Gray Sky immediately stood down when he realized it was a kit, but it was too late. The kit had fled before he could utter a word. Strange, he’d thought before turning tail and leaving the air.

The next cat had been the strangest creature he’d ever seen. With tall ears and a broad muzzle, it had almost reminded him of the cats back home if the cat hadn’t been so tall. Outstandingly tall. And that was a lot coming from Gray Sky, he was pretty big himself. All mountain cats were. But his meeting with the strange cat had been brief, and frankly, unfriendly. He’d spoken of a strange Clan, and asked Gray Sky if he wanted to join. But the gray and white tom had rudely declined and left the ton alone. What was a clan anyway? They hadn’t talked long enough to find out, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to. He was a lone cat now, after all.

The tom trudged onward through the heather, heading to the spring he found that was not too far from his den. Gray Sky had not run into any cats there, and he wondered if he should mark it as his own. But he decided against it. He had met no cats there yet. Perhaps it wasn’t a popular watering hole among the strange wildcats.

No matter. The tom trotted at a brisk pace until the pool of mountain water came into view, a continuous trickle falling down the mountainside. Gray Sky, warily glanced around before lowering his head and drinking from the cold mountain water. Relishing in its fresh taste.
