Lynxleap-Camp-GoldensplashLyxnleap let the other sniff his paw, knowing it would be part of the routine outside of the questions. His tail gave a slight flick behind him as he thought it over. "I suppose I could live with that, especially if it's just for one day," he said giving a grin. He would prove that he was just fine first hand to the Destiny Seer! "If you sre free we could head out now?" He was excited by the notion that was the only condition to get out of camp, but he also knew that the other tom most likely had other work. "But if you need to finish up things that's fine you can just come get mee too if that works better? I wouldn't want to impede your work just cause I want to get out of here." 🅃🄴🄼🄿🄾

Lynxleap-Camp-GoldensplashLyxnleap grinned as gave a flick to his ear. "Alright let's head out!" He took note to keep an eye out for cobwebs for the destiny seer. He quickly headed for the entrance of the camp, pausing to look back to ensure the tom was following before exiting, he struggled to hide his excitement of finally being out of the camp. Flexing his claws into the sand of the beach he gave a soft purr or delight. "So where to first to look for some cobwebs?" 🅃🄴🄼🄿🄾

Goldensplash nodded his head in agreement, reaching over to give his made a reassuring lick across her shoulder. "You would have never met your handsome, golden warrior if you'd been born somewhere else, after all." He joked, giving her a wide, toothy smile. Straightening himself he gazed out at the distant ocean, becoming more serious. "I love the island. All those other places sound nice in theory, but this is our land. We protect it." And it soon would also be the home of their children. And hopefully they, too, would adore their home as both of their parents did.

Seapaw tilted his head sideways, blue eyes searching the gray tabby apprentice as if he could see straight through her. "Are you sure? I'd do it for you, you know." He pried, he would not let her ask if she wasn't comfortable. If it was any cat other than Shellpaw's mother he would not be as certain, but he was comfortable around his mentor. But maybe it would be good for Shellpaw to overcome her fears. Whatever she decided, he would be supportive of her decision. ----- (Sorry for my absense, I've had a lot of homework these first few weeks  . Do you have any idea how the kits should look? I'm thinking torties and chocolate tabbies?)

Adderdapple closed her eyes and took a nice, long breath of the fresh and salty air. "It's true," she replied, "This is our home. I can't imagine living anywhere but here." The island would forever be Adderdapple's home. Even if the rest of the Clan somehow found a way to get to those other places, she'd be much happier staying here. "I can't wait to raise a family here with you," she sighed. She couldn't imagine a better place to raise their kits but here. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Shellpaw took a long, deep breath. It wasn't right to make Seapaw do these things for her, even if he was willing to. "No," she replied with a determined note in her voice, "I'll do it. The worst she could do is say no, right?" Seriously, that was the worst thing that could happen. Shellpaw wasn't sure why she was worked up over this. Asking a question was easy and the worst outcome was her mother saying no. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Goldensplash chuckled. He was happy that Lynxleap was excited to help him. Most cats would turn their noses away and call it a useless job. But, he supposed, to guardians getting out after an injury was everything, even if it meant helping the Destiny Seer out with simple herb gathering tasks. "Hm," he thought carefully back to his training, "We'd usually be able to find cobwebs in bushes or the upper parts of palm trees, but the best place is bushes." [ Ember34] (I understand being busy with homework. I myself am trying to adjust to starting school back. I think chocolate tabbies and torties would be cute!) |

Lynxleap-Outside Camp-GoldensplashLyxnleap while it wasn't his favorite job in the world, he didn't fully mind helping get herbs, after all destiny seer was an important part of the clan, as they helped ensure everyone stayed healthy and were able to recover from injuries. But granted if you gave him the choice of a patrol or herb gathering, he knew full well he would jump to go join the patrol. "Bushes and tops of palm trees got it," he said, looking around as he moved along the way, keeping an eye out at the bushes and trees, granted he knew he would need to climb up there to fully know for sure if any was present, but for now, he would stay on the ground to search. 🅃🄴🄼🄿🄾

The ginger tom leaned into his mate, pressing his muzzle against her. A purr rumbling deep in his belly. "I'm more than happy to be making one with you." Coralstripe was extremely grateful to Paradia for Adderdapple. She was the medicine that he needed. The calm that tamed his constantly raging waters. He was sure he would be a totally different, more hotheaded tom if they hadn't become mates. And now they were creating a family together. "Are you feeling well? Hungry yet?"

The cream colored tom nodded his head, reaching his tail over across her flank reassuringly. "Exactly. And I'm sure she'll say yes, don't worry." He mewed offering her a small smile. He was happy she was overcoming her fears. And even if she changed her mind, he would be there to help her. She would always have him. As a friend.. Even if he cared for her a bit more than a just friend.

Goldensplash nodded. "I would recommend sticking with the bushes though," he warned, "I don't want your paw messing up while you're climbing and then you fall." He really didn't want a cat falling from a tree under his watch. He could never handle the guilt that came afterwards. Goldensplash started walking around some bushes to search for some cobwebs. "You could also try a bit of light hunting if you'd like," he suggested. [ Ember34] -------------------- Adderdapple hadn't realized that she was hungry until Coralstripe said something about it. She must've been so caught up chatting with him she hadn't noticed. "Now that you've said something, I am a bit hungry," she replied with a hint of embarrassment. Being hungry all the time was something Adderdapple didn't enjoy. Sure, she enjoyed eating the prey and the flavor, but she always felt a bit embarrassed when she ate so much, even if she was expecting kits. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Shellpaw's pelt warmed at the gesture. She wondered why her pelt always got hot when he made gestures like that. They were good friends, nothing more. At least that's what she always told herself. "I really hope she says yes," she confided, "I'd honestly feel embarrassed if she said no." |

Coralstripe nodded, rising to his paws. Shaking the sand away from his fur. He knew she'd get hungry sooner or later since she hadn't been in the mood for fish earlier. He would catch her something nice and fresh. They weren't on patrol, it would be fine. Besides, it was for his mate's health. There had to be a beach rat or two snuffling about not too far. His suspicions stood correctly as he caught the scent of the creature, flicking his tail to his mate before he trotted off after the scent trail. Pausing when he caught sight of the brown creature, instantly crouching down. Expertly stalking up on the rodent and pouncing, instantly delivering a killing bite. Returning back to his dappled mate triumphantly, dropping his catch at her paws. "For my love, and kits." He mewed humorously.

He smiled encouragingly, "You've got this. No need to be embarrassed" He was beyond sure the older molly would allow her to learn something new in her training. "Besides, if she says no, then I'll teach you myself." He added with a goofy grin. Seapaw was only a few moons ahead of Shellpaw, but he had a few tricks.

When he moved on to the next bush he perked up, but his excitement faded, he found some cobwebs, but it looked smaller compared to the types he had seen kept in the destiny seer's den, but none the less he glanced over to Goldenslpash. Adderdapple gave the beach rat a sniff. "Thank you," she mewed happily. She took a bite out of the prey that her mate had caught. "It's great," her meow was muffled by her chewing. Before saying anything else, she finished swallowing the prey. "You can have some if you'd life," she offered. She didn't want to be selfish by eating the prey all by herself. She thought he deserved to taste some of what he had caught. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Shellpaw giggled at Seapaw and nodded. Even if he was only a few moons older than her, he could still teach her some moves she didn't know. "I sure hope she says yes then," she teased, "Or else I might be stuck with your teaching. We all know how bad that is." She enjoyed being able to tease Seapaw. Although, she didn't actually mean that he was a bad teacher. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Goldensplash padded over to where Lynxleap had been looking. He examined the webs that he had found. "A little smaller than most, but we should still collect them. Just in case." He thought that these webs could be good for smaller wounds or if a kit gets hurt. "I'm gonna continue looking over here." He went back over to where he had been looking and collected some more webs from a bush. |

Glancing towards the destiny seer and seeing the tom busy collecting webs himself. Surely it would be fine to quickly go catch it right? There was still plenty of time to get more webs. Crouching close to the ground as he followed along the scent trail carefully, being an aqua Guardian he was more used to the water then to land when it came to hunting. 🅃🄴🄼🄿🄾)

Coralstripe shook his broad, ginger head and reassured her, "No, it's yours." He had caught it for her because she was hungry. Besides, the tom did not have much of an appetite himself. The clan must be fed first, he would go on patrol later with Pearlpaw to ensure everything was well. But until then, he would make sure his mate was well taken care of. "I'll eat later when me and Pearlpaw come back from patrol."

Goldensplash looked over to check on Lynxleap. He laughed on the inside. Guardians could never get tired of hunting. He had never seen anything exciting about being a Guardian. As a kit, he never wanted to be a Guardian. He'd always been afraid of having to go to battle and getting hurt. Thank Paradia that he was chosen as the Destined Seer. [ Ember34] -------------------- Adderdapple wore a concerned look on her face. "Are you sure," she asked, "I honestly don't think I'll eat the whole thing." If she was being honest, she hadn't had much an appetite while expecting kits. She'd never tell Coralstripe that though. She didn't want to worry him. She continued to take small bites of the prey. She had only eaten about half when she pushed it forward. "I'm full," she meowed once she couldn't take the taste of prey anymore, "You can have the rest if you'd like." [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢] -------------------- Shellpaw let out an "oof" when Seapaw suddenly pounced on her. She laughed as he pummeled her ears with sheathed paws. She returned the pummels with sheathed back paws on his belly. She continued to twist beneath him. Play fighting with Seapw was something she loved. She loved that they could play fight and tease each other without any hard feelings. Suddenly, Shellpaw began coughing and she stopped pummeling him. [ 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑢]

His paws twitching with the shreds of excitement he wasn't able to contain, because he was finally back out doing his duties, to an extent. Waiting till he was able to get closer, he lept out, a slight wince at the small pierce of pain through his paw. He managed to land on the mouse's tail, and have a paw on it's back leg, but the mouse was able to squirm itself out of his grasp and take cover under a bush. The guardian cursed as he shook out his fur, a disappointed frown on his face. 🅃🄴🄼🄿🄾)
