I do not like their relationship at all. Tigerstar is also extremely bias as a parent towards his kids and is horrible to anyone not related to him. He was horrible to Dovewing in OotS, and she was immature when she made him abandon everything to follow her into nowhere. I do not like them.

Hate their relationship but think they are both pretty decent parents. Although Dovewing moreso than Tigerstar imo (specifically to Shadowsight). Tigerstar just seems very biased in favor of his family overall while Dovewing usually does try to make him tone it down on occasion tbh.
But both of them (as well as Lightleap, Pouncestep and Tawnypelt iirc) trying to get Shadowsight out of camp after he let Ashfur escape was just not a good look for them (even if I fully understand that they were simply worried about him and wanted to protect him from the wrath of everyone else as well as considering the fact that Shadowsight was manipulated by Ashfur for quite some time).

I don't like either. Their relationship was toxic and affected many others, not just themselves. Tiger gets on my last nerve with his "my family can do no wrong" bullshit constantly. And Dove just...exists I guess??? Like all her development is gone and she's just a token wife to a leader now. It's pathetic.
While, yeah, they love their kits an all...they're not great parents by a mile. They heavily endorse their bullshit, and tried to get Shadowsight to run from his mistakes like they did. Instead of helping him face accountability for his actions, even if manipulated.

Tigerstar's "my family comes first before everything" is a respectable take for a parent. The only reason I can't fully endorse it is that as leader, he also has a responsibility to his Clan, which he will quite regularly throw on the backburner the second his lover or children are in danger. But it's sort of a catch-22 where if the two get split, either he does the right thing as a leader and the wrong thing as a father or the wrong thing as a leader and the right thing as a father. It's all fine and dandy if you can get life balance to the point where you don't have to make that decision, but life is rarely that simple.
Frankly, I've been of the opinion that leaders should have the same ban on romantic partners and parenthood that medicine cats do, and Tigerstar is a prime example of why. Bluestar is another. She went the other way and chose ThunderClan over her kits, and Stonefur and Mistyfoot - two perfectly reasonable and good-hearted cats - absolutely hated her guts for it once they found out. And they weren't wrong to. She made the wrong decision as a mother, but the right decision as a warrior and leader-to-be. Again, it was a catch-22, she was damned regardless of what she picked.
The Tiger-Dove relationship was shit before they became parents. I think they seem decent now.

I can't really move passed the fact that their relationship in the past had Tigerheart getting with an apprentice aged Dovewing and then using her sister for herbs.
I think Tigerheartstar being super biased for his children is an interesting character trait, if even a less than desirable trait for a leader. His love for his family is probably the only thing I find even slightly tolerable about him.

Honestly they're both pretty good parents. And I don't really care for them as a relationship, so I'm neutral on that end.

Never liked them. Tigerheart always came off as manipulative and bossy to me, and then they’re not great parents either.

Pretty much this, also with the fact that Tigerheart was interested in Dovewing since she was an apprentice, used her for information, held her sister hostage, and tried to split the sisters apart, like the list goes on.

I am neutral on their relationship now, but I used to hate them.
But I do think they’re good parents with a lot of love shown to their kits! I like that the most. Even though their kits mess up sometimes, Tigerstar and Dovewing still love them and show that in the books too. Even if not as much as I would like. But this is Warriors after all.
I don’t mind them putting their family above the clan, since the clans can be awful and filled with unnecessary drama.
