(Yeah screw it, it’ll be good for planning. Basically Jack and werewolf Jack should be kinda considered separate characters for a while. When he transforms, the human side is switched off. There’s gonna be teeny tiny hints that he’s still in there though, like with his encounter with Adeline. But pretty much you just have this massive wolf running around that’s a tad more violent than usual. I wanted ultimate tragedy with Jack, clearly haha)

To make it even more sad, he never remembers any of it afterward, guess that could be a good thing?
I think pretty much how we’ve discussed it. Wolf!Jack maybe gets too close to town and spots her before the human part of him claws his way out to be all like “Don’t you dare!”)

Javalle let out a yawn and approached the ordering stand; just then, he noticed someone else doing the same. The powerful scent of canine washes over him as he takes a glance at the police officer next to him. What was it with him and encountering shifter officers recently? They were a werewolf from the scent of it, which was an oddity to him. Didn’t most of the wolves live in houses far from the city on full moons? Then the thought struck him. Jack! How was he going to get through his first shift tonight? Would he be able to make to work a couple days after? He quickly turned the negative thoughts down.
No matter, it wasn’t really his business to think too hardly on the practices of other were-creatures in the neighborhood. He was sure the pack taking care of him had everything under control. Still, the thought tingled the crevices of his mind. The least could he do was introduce himself. But first, his order.
“I’ll have a peppermint chai, please. Oh, yes, I’ll have it warm.” After a quick thanks to the cashier, he turned to the stranger with a tired smile forced on his face.
“Good afternoon. How are you doing this moon?”

Here is a starter for Maria. I feel like I need to up my rp game to match y'all.)
Maria was not happy, like not even a tiny bit. The day of the full moon always put her in a really fowl mood. Now, the shifting part was never what bothered her really, it was that lack of control that went with it that she hated. Being forced to change against her own will felt like such a violation to her, she already felt like she didn't have enough control in her own life without all this.
It was due to this sense of looming dread that made her want to do something she chose to do, in this case it was to go into the woods. Did she know this was dumb, yes. Did she know it was dangerous and her sister Lexa told her to not go their alone for a while due to rouges potentially being a problem, also yes. Did she care at the moment, no not really. All she wanted was to feel like she had some semblance of control right now.
Now she wasn't a total idiot, she mostly stuck to the the edges and had her phone on her incase of emergencies. Basically she was in the woods without fulling be in it, if that made any sense. Her plan was to stay there for as long as she could and hope that nothing bad happened. Heck maybe she would even stay there through the night, show her older brother and sister she was not some scared little girl.
Okay I think that will work for now, what do you guys think? Honestly the whole rouge thing had me interested and maybe wanted Maria to see them and maybe be used to warn other, I don't know. Anyways, yeah that is the longest thing I have ever written here I think.)

Jack had graduated from sitting as still as a statue to pacing. Every single bone in his body ached in ways he didn’t know possible, but he had too much energy to be still. He had to move. His twitchy eyes kept glancing at his room. There was a sliding glass door that lead outside that he planned on using as an escape route should he need it, hopefully he didn’t. The hope he had held onto all this time was slipping away from him like water in an opened hand.
A wave of pain rolled over his body, causing the young man to buckle with a pitiful moan, leaning his weight heavily on the back of a couch. Was it just this bad because it’s his first time or is it always pure agony? Jack wretched his eyes opened that he didn’t know were closed and glanced towards the nearest window. The sun was beginning to dip, just so. He can fight this. He can do this.

.' - Nola Levington - '.
Nola looks up from where she'd been a tinge hyper focused, eyes on the.. feline shifter. She can't remember a name, if she ever even got one for the man. Nola gives him the tiniest of look overs. He looks like most on the day of the full moon, jittery, somewhat.. anxious, she's in a somewhat similar state. You see, Nola's always keen, especially when it comes to shifting. If there's a chance she, or anyone in her family would take, it would not regard any minuscule tinge of control being lost. She can wander, in her head on occasion, everyone thinks. But to reign in such a base urge is difficult, well, it was much harder when she was younger, now she's.. 'seasoned' you might say. Even if the scent of coffee makes her not currently in existence ears perk up, or her honey brown eyes that turn hazel light up. She's simply herself, as she usually is. Posture mostly refined, fingertips picking at her jacket's frayed edges, head tilted a tinge up now that Nola's attention is on the other shifter. The main difference is she might smell.. the tiniest bit more on edge, that scent that makes you quirk a brow. Nola's arms went to her sides, head tilting a tinge to the side as she gives a small, polite smile. She can hear coffee dripping into a plastic cup, and creamer being added that quickly calms the steam she could almost feel in the air. "I'm doing well." Nola pauses, giving the slightly antsy shifter a genuine look, though still with that slight smile on. "And how're you?" Nola asks, glancing over the side as a worker calls someone's name, an older officer giving a polite wave as he gets from his seat to retrieve his coffee. |

.' - Adeline Nicholson - '. Adeline stuck in one last bobby pin to her hair, looking herself over once last time in the mirror before deeming herself ready. Checking the time on her phone as she tugged on her tennis shoes, she has.. oh, well, that's a little more time than she thought. Standing from her dinky, but very comfortable couch, she put her phone into her pocket, unhung her jacket from it's hangar on the door, and slipped it on. If she takes the short route.. well, she can probably get herself and her coworker a cup of coffee, right? They normally make them pretty quick.. Grabbing her keys with a little jangle, she pops open her door, her bang slung over a shoulder, and promptly closes it behind her with a tell tale 'click'. Adeline turns her key, locking it, and leaves her small apartment to head downstairs, outside, and starts the slightly painstaking walk to work. Well, coffee shop, then work.. and yeah, she really needs to start looking for a car to buy. |
