Very annoying and just unbearable. I hate her racisim and how controlling she is. I don't care if she was lied to. The only reason Hollyleaf let Leafpool live is because she'd deal with pain and suffer while she was alive. Hollyleaf ruined her brothers' lives and abandoned them, making them believe she was dead. Her warrior code obsession and disrespect to other characters is terrible. I'm glad she gets better after she returns, because she's awful before she leaves for the tunnels.

One of my favorite characters in the series. I find her obsession with the code interesting as well as her spiral after finding out the truth about her parents. I like that she grows as a character further when she comes back to Thunderclan.

Love her. Hollyleaf is my favorite out of the Original Three (love her brothers as well though).

She was great, a character whose flaws overwhelmed her good qualities and led to her tragic demise. She did something terrible, but it’s possible to empathize with her too. She reminds me a lot of Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar, that desperate need to be right of hers.
Her comeback in OOTS was awful though. Ruinous to her character and arc

She is one of my top 20 favorite characters for her complex characterization. I like complex characters, characters who struggle to fit in, make terrible mistakes, try to redeem themselves. Those are the characters I like reading about.

i love her because shes a mess. she was consumed by and eventually destroyed by her own pride and the expectations she had based on her own heritage and supposed destiny. this is most interestingly displayed in her murder of ashfur- she didnt kill him because he was dangerous, she killed him because of the idea he represented, that she had no special destiny and was an average warrior. what makes this ironic is that she was in fact not average. shes shown to be rather gifted as a warrior. but she couldnt accept this, because she had come to expect something more. i agree with vectoring34 that she shouldnt have returned, or if she did, they shouldnt have done things the way they were. i personally would have preferred a more ambiguous ending, where we’re never directly told what became of her, and the audience is left to imagine if she lived or died. itd be fun to work with, writing-wise. alternatively, she could have filled juniperclaws role in tbc. dark forest hollyleaf would be cool as hell.

I'm still mad she wasn't on the StarClan patrol in book 6 when she had more of a connection to Ashfur than the majority of cats there. Ashfur himself in the same book mentions he hates her for killing him.
