While their fur hides most of their frame, under it hides a lanky, skinny little cat. But thanks to their wiry golden coat, it's hard to notice. Ploverstutter does quite resemble your typical plover bird. He's an average sized tom, albiet a bit on the more muscular and fluffy side. Laying on top of a striking white coat are brown tabby patches. His front half and stomach are white, along with his muzzle. Wide pale green eyes sit anxiously on his delicate features. { Reliable } . { Creative } . { Mellow } . { Messy } . { Insecure } The suffix -stutter was given to Plover for a reason. He's a fluff ball full of anxiety and insecurity, though he's good at masking it. While his voice is gruff and powerful, it's unfortunately occasionally cut mid-sentence with frustrating stutters. Thanks to the anxiety, it adds on to his fear of just about everything- including his own shadow. Regardless of that, he's a very reliable cat. Adding onto her size is her thick, downy fur. Much like many of her Clanmates, her fur is on the darker side. Lacing her frame is a deep, dusty brown littered with lighter hues on her muzzle, chest, and legs, while her tail is a slightly darker color. Her face is a bit on the shorter, stubbier side, while her eyes seem to be bigger and a deep yellow. With the size of Pufferplume's eyes and their striking blue color, you'd think that she could see for miles. However, the Siamese cat has never been able to see well- her eyes being very sensitive to light. However, she does respect her leader and appreciate her Clan, as much as she may say she doesn't. Her fur is short and coarse, hued a burning orange and striking black. Despite that, they take more liking to swimming than anything else. It keeps their black-and-white dappled tabby pelt sleek. They have lean muscles due to that, as well as a slightly seawatery scent about them. One may find bits of seaweed or sand plastered on the bottom of their paws often, as Echosplash does not groom too thoroughly. They have a few nicks on their face, a result of being a little clumsy in their apprenticehood. Their eyes are round and blue, much like the water they like so much. { loyal } . { optimistic } . { chatterbox } . { insistent } . { childish }Echosplash's loyalty is both a strength and a vice. They are inclined to be steadfast to those they care for deeply. They tend to believe wholeheartedly in those cats and hope for the best - if they place their loyalty in others, then those cats would not let them down from their perspective. Maybe that is a naive way of viewing the world, but it is one that Echosplash embodies and thinks of as true. More than often they will insist on their worldview if challenged, taking no criticism. Perhaps, then, it is unsurprising that Echosplash takes a more immature stance on any comments that speak of faults. They refuse to see the issue pointed out, taking a more aggressive (or whiny) stance. Then they will proceed to chatter the critic's ears off. His stripes are stark against the rest of the black, hence the "Shell" part of his name. He also sports slight white spotting on his paws and muzzle. Shelldusk is shape-wise a little round and little smaller than the average cat. Despite that height disadvantage, he has made up to it by becoming swift - and also holding himself in a very straight posture at all times. It is a wonder he has not complained of neck or back stiffness yet. He finds it natural to call groups of cats to order under pressure or crisis. Largely disliking chaos, Shelldusk does believe that there should be someone to hold a leadership position of sorts to keep a hold on any situation. Should there be no one who steps up, he would gladly take that place. He tries his best to be reasonable towards all cats equally with his pragmatic side. He is not afraid to call out others based on reason and facts that he knows. Sometimes this side comes in conflict with his more empathetic side - he often puts himself in others' paws to make sense of various perspectives. Empathy can make it easy to give caution and guidance, but it can sometimes make it hard to give harsher types of criticism. Admittedly, it is definitely easy for Shelldusk to give judgement to some, moreso than others. He tries not to think about that. He very unfortunately has spiky, somewhat uneven fur that is not easily kept well-groomed in windy weather. Said fur often accumulates a lot of seaside salt, often drying out without proper washing off. The result gives the fur a more stiff feel than soft as well as an even more unkempt look. Despite how ragged he looks, Tempestfur is still a large, sturdy cat, and shouldn't be underestimated even if he appears tired. { clear-headed } . { patient } . { reserved } . { passive } . { self-indulgent } Tempestfur is a lot more alert than he looks. He's well-aware of the on-goings around him and can adjust appropriately at right times. He prefers not to make too much of a fuss and do what he needs to do with little to no negative consequence. He is notably patient, waiting and biding the right time to do or say anything. He is precise in this manner. Unfortunately this also means that he does not say what is on his mind or speaks his opinion unless he thinks it's right. Thus Tempestfur, for the most part, can remain rather detached from clan issues or discussions. He would rather pass from anything that can cause drama, seeing nothing good coming out of putting himself into conflict. However, at the same time he is rather self-indulgent - while he does not insert himself in heated issues, he would very much like to watch from the side and watch the flames. Lavapaw 's reddish-orange tortoiseshell tabby pelt is a source of pride for her. She keeps her wiry fur well-groomed, down to the small tufts of fur between her toes. She fairly lanky, not yet fully grown into her height. She hopes that she can get more comfortable with her stature in the future. For now, she is generally angular shaped and a little awkward when she stands or sits. True to her name, her eyes are a bright shade of amber. Often her pelt smells of all sorts of plants - although there are no specks of herb bits to be seen due to her extensive grooming.

Lavapaw prides herself on being able to be very independent and make judgements for herself - most likely to the frustration of those who need to work with her at any given time. She can be friendly and willing to talk to any new cats with ease, but she is not the easiest teammate. Lavapaw makes decisions for herself and stays firm to them. She imagines that one day she might not have anyone to turn to for advice - leaders and deputies and medicine cats make decisions on their own, don't they? And where's the harm of practicing beforehand? She puts high expectations on herself (and unfortunately others) and strives to reach them. Should she fail to achieve a goal, Lavapaw may not be in the best of moods until she finds another thing to pursue. Should others fail those goals, she will be severely disappointed and go out her way to say so. She finds pride in her achievements and how she is living her life, and is not afraid to say so.

[ Stormwatcher ] [ Tom ] [ 52 moons old ] [ Bisexual ] ➤ - was mentored by - ➤ - has mentored - Pass this warrior with a fleeting glance and you might believe that this tom's Dam stole his colours straight from the skies, went for a wander in a tempest and wretched the thunder from the claws of the Gods themselves. A hulking mass of a warrior, his thick, dark grey coat is strewn across a body of raw power, muscular, broad and imposing. Stormwatcher's eyes are a very deep blue, the shade of the last few metres of ocean before the sunlight can no longer penetrate the depths. Not a warrior who takes much pride in his appearance, his maw is one littered with scars amidst the greying hairs, his ears reduced to tatters from a lifetime as a warrior, and a good one at that. His size isn't one that lends itself to this environment, you'd sooner expect him to sink like a stone than swim. A creature that sticks out like a sore thumb against the clan in more ways than one, however, this is a cat quite skilled at swimming against the current. { Impatient } . { Proud } . { Observant } . { Reliable } . { Loyal } Trying to read this tom is a lot like attempting to find meaning in the pattern of falling leaves, and there you would be more likely to find beautiful poetry than anything spewing from this tom's gritted teeth. Though he has all the conversational skills of a rabid badger, this is a warrior who is always listening, always watching - he may place himself on a pedestal, but from that vantage point he takes note of everything. And she has never had any regrets about the path she has chosen.

Pufferplume is a little bit of a chunky lady, as well as on the shorter side. As she's gotten older, of course she's gotten a bit lazy...and obsessed with food! Adding onto her already soft fluffiness, this she-cat has a rather precious exterior. Her fur is on the shorter, softer side, little tufts coming off of big pointed ears. She's a dark, warm-toned lynx point molly, silver and white dotting all through her coat showing her age. With the size of Pufferplume's eyes and their striking blue color, you'd think that she could see for miles. However, the Siamese cat has never been able to see well- her eyes being very sensitive to light. She learned that going on night patrols helped her see greatly.

However, she does respect her leader and appreciate her Clan, as much as she may say she doesn't.
