☁ - Forum rules are to be followed and respected.
☁ - Respect - it's simple and expected in every clan, and this is no different. Please be sure to show respect to the members of this clan- we're all here to have a good time! A further extension of this rule is for those who are not part of this clan as well: please no spamming, flaming, bashing, raiding, stealing (neither cats nor clan ideas), and kit-___ of any kind.
☁ - Activity - this is also another rule that is expected in every clan, but it stands to still be reiterated again. If you are part of Lagoonclan you are expected to be active here at least three times a week. If you are an admin, mod, trusted member, or someone who is pivotal in a plot or rank, you are expected to be here posting at least five times a week. You will be rewarded with spots in plots and special rank privileges and the like if you are an active member of the clan!
☁ - Literacy - I'm being relatively lax with this one unlike how I am in my usual clans. Every member must have proper spelling and grammar and, of course, one-liners are never allowed. I expect everyone to, when they are roleplaying, have at least 5 sentences. Something good to do is to look at how other members are roleplaying- it's common courtesy to try to match the level of sentences and grammar those around you are doing! I don't expect paragraphs upon paragraphs of writing, but five sentences is the absolute minimum.
☁ - Characters - although this is a semi-realistic clan in the sense of the plot, all regular cats are regular cats! I am relatively lax with this rule but please, we all understand the basics: do not have cats with unnatural pelt colors or eye colors. There will be no god-modding, power playing, mary-sues or gary-sues! Every character must have multiple flaws as will be seen on the joining form. As for a cat's history they are allowed to have a family lineage from far away, but all cats in Lagoonclan are clan-born. LGBTQ+ is allowed, simply specify that in your character's form.
☁ - Drama is encouraged- cats are going missing! No one can find them, are they dead or alive? Cats are in a panic! They've never been in danger like this before aside from the obvious. However, if you are planning on having drama happen, you absolutely must tell me and get approved by me first. No large-scale plots are permitted at this time, but smaller plots are allowed and encouraged if you are approved. Take care you do not power play, god-mod, or spotlight!
☁ - Complaints - this is a really good rule I found on another role play's ruleboard: (credit to WW) we are not a therapist's office. Everyone has hard things in life and it is entirely fine to discuss them here but please know that you cannot be coming online and doing nothing but complaining every single time. I'll tell you now that I am very sorry for what is happening in your life and I hope it gets better- but please do a courtesy to other members and keep possibly triggering or otherwise large issues to low.

A masculine of huge stature who easily towers over the majority if not all of his clanmates. A sturdy, lean figure with strong bones create his structure as it is lined and filled with thick muscles and leaving little to no loose skin to be seen- quite accurately being made of strength. Large paws sheathing sharp, off-white claws completes the logistics of this male's foundation. Over this figure runs a coat of velvet skin and short, glossy pelage that briefly thickens during the wintery moons. The color is a soft grey that is solid throughout his coat, broken only by piebald-like white fountain spouts of markings that envelope his chest and splash beneath his chin. His massive paws have their toes dipped in such white as well as the very tip of his long, thick, whipcord tail. His ears are average-sized for a cranium such as his- a broad, defined platelet with a long, expansive muzzle with a width almost as much as his platelet. Housed within this feature are two almond-shaped optics where each is colored a bright, soft mint-green shade. At his throat starts a massive, long scar that curls from one side of his jugular to the other to then travel over the left side of his neck and continue to bow around his shoulder and end behind his left shoulder blade. He has various other bite wounds, scratches, and scars across his chest and front legs.

No one knows truly where Sharkstar came from other than that he showed up on the rocky beach one day with his mate, Sparrow. Both were heavily injured and scarred and Lagoonclan took them in and bandaged them, healing what they could of the torn tissues. When asked what had happened, the two merely explained they had been attacked by a shark while they were fishing, and left it at that. The wild tales they spun of being from beyond the wharf town caused a commotion, and Lagoonclan took an interest and decided to take them into the clan permanently. Working his way through the ranks, Sharksnap became Sharkstar once the old leader passed away from old age.

Sparrowchirp

Lean and well-muscled, this tomcat has had his fair share of battle experience, and has taken on a flexible, well-structured frame with long limbs, neck, and tail and a wedge-like, exotic cranium. Coating his frame is a pelage of rosewood ebony- a russet cherry of wood tones with tasteful marbled, darker stripes and splinters throughout this shade. There are varying degrees of dusking to his pelt such as grey-brown and black that give shadows to his fur in a smoke pattern. There is darking to the proportion of a mask of brown-black covering his cranium. There is a white-dip pattern to his paws and on one side of his muzzle- at least, the side that is not scarred. His eyes, almond-slitted, are colored a hazel shade of mix, tropical orange and citrus in a vibrance. The most notable attributes of this tomcat are the horrendous amount of scarring that covers his being. Detailed, they are as follows: a massive bite wound to his shoulder that spans into his neck and front leg, various scratches amongst his chest and paws, massive scarring to the right side of his face including a shredded ear, and a long gash along the right side of his flank.

No one knows truly where Sparrowchirp came from other than that he showed up on the rocky beach one day with his mate, Shark. Both were heavily injured- Sparrowchirp clinging to life, as they asked Lagoonclan for assistance. Moved, the clan took the two wanderers in and treated their wounds, although Sparrowchirp would forever have a massive expansive of terrible scarring covering him. While in recovery, the two cats explaining wild tales of where they came from and what happened to them and, intrigued, the clan took them in. Now, despite his injuries, Sparrowchirp lives as one of the best warriors of Lagoonclan.
Whitelick
dmab male | 25 moons
A masculine of primarily lean and athletic stature, he makes for an average-sized if not slightly small height and proportional muscles. His primary focus is speed, utilizing his smaller yet athletic figure to create a flurry of life. He has average-sized paws that sheathe off-white claws, one of which has an odd little black spot on the tip. Over this figure runs a pelage of medium-length strands that are relatively glossy and neither thin nor thick, although it has a notable lick of untamable, curly patch at the top of his head. This pelage is colored a husky dark grey color with a strip of white that starts beneath his chin and travels up his face into his little cowlick, where it ends. His cranium is a modified wedge shape, more narrow than round, and is thin and long with a platelet almost the same size as his muzzle, creating an almost perfect wedge edge. Housed in this cranium hold two heavy-lidded optics both colored a light brown shade with a hint of some sort of other shade, like a faint dusty tone. Notably, he has a very short manx tail, but it simply grew that way and appears to be his genetics.

A masculine of tall, limber stature that lends him to proportionally of large stature and athletic build in both muscle and bone structure. His limbs are long and lean, balancing his muscled torso with an elegant ease and instinctual grace alongside a short-furred and thick whipcord tail. Over such a figure runs an expanse of velvet skin from which streams medium-length, thick, glossy, smooth strands that clothes his stature and gives him his look. This particular pelage is colored that of a pale silver with a variety of tabbied markings running fingers through his fur. His base coat is a glowing silver shade that is marred by a patterning of darker- although still rather pastel- tabby stripes that are overlaid with another layer of even darker stripes atop of these. Other variations of his pelt include the white patches that envelope his paws and the bottom line of his tail arching into the tip as well as a downward arrow-shaped marking against his chest and a piebald-like, wobbling white blaze traveling the left side of his muzzle to the middle of his forehead. His cranium is a modified wedge-shape, more pointed than rounded, and lends him a sharp-edged platelet, muzzle, and jawline branching to large, triangular ears. Held in this head holds two narrowed optics that are both colored a smooth, pastel green shade.

A feminine of tall, limber stature that lends her to proportionally thin stature and athletic build in both muscle and bone structure. Her limbs are long and lean, balancing her thin torso with an elegant ease and instinctual grace. Such a fur is incredibly soft and fluffy, like down, and puffs up in elegant plumes at her cheeks, neck, elbows, and haunches to stream into a short yet incredibly feathery plumed tail. This particular pelage is shaded a soft, silvery shade that is not quite pristine and yet not a silver- in fact, one could say its even a lilac gray color. Variations within this pattern include simple, thin white patching along her front legs, one sloppily sliding off the side of her spine, against her tail, and a thin piebald-like wobbling white blaze traveling the right side of her muzzle to the middle of her forehead- a mirror of her brother. Her cranium is a modified wedge-shape, more pointed than rounded although her plumes of cheek fur make her appear to have a rounded face with large, triangular ears. Held in this head holds two narrowed optics that, like her brother, are colored both a smooth, pastel green shade.

Her limbs are average, if not slightly short, and balance her muscled torso with a surprising, ironic ease and pride. Over such a figure runs an expanse of velvet skin from which streams short-length, thick, fluffy strands that clothes her stature. Of this, her signature attribute is despite the shortness of the pelage, it lengthens and plumes inexplicably into her tail, creating a long-haired, thick, fluffy tail to stream. This particular pelage has a base of sultry dusty-brown, like a catch between a brick red-brown and the husk of dark wood, creating an interesting shade of dusty-red. Atop this base patterns a small variety of light black patches that curl about her figure with a grace and oval-like signature rather than sharp-edged patterning. There are hints of dark red marble tabby stripes against her fur, beneath the black patches and yet still present in her step. Under this all lies the lightening of the fur of her muzzle, throat, chest, stomach, and paws into a soft brown-cream shade that fully completes her look. Her cranium is a modified wedge-shape, more rounded than pointed, and gives her a wide face and strong jaw with large- almost too large- triangular ears. Held in this head holds two owlish optics that are both colored a bright, light yellow shade.

Description: As a kitten, Barracudasnap looked like a ball of fur; a blue-grey ball of fur, to be exact. It was hard to see his eyes, let alone his entire face. Luckily for this tom, things have evened out. With muscular features, Barracudasnap has broad shoulders to pair with his sturdy build. He is covered in a blue-grey colored coat that is only found on a certain breed- the Russian Blue. He has two thick coats; the undercoat being soft and downy while the other is soft to the touch. On both coats, the hairs are blue with silver tips. If you look at Barracudasnap's tail, you won't be able to see the unnoticed, dull stripes. He has dull pine green eyes.

History: Barracudasnap isn't one to be in touch with his family. If at all, he shares and shows no connections to his relatives, one being his younger sister, Stormjay, who came from another litter. As Stormjay was the only one of her litter to survive like Barracudasnap. This tom is more of a lone wolf than anything else; having emotions is a rarity for the warrior and if they are emotions, they're ones of apathy. He, like all cats of LagoonClan, was clanborn to his mother & father, Bluewater and Troutjump. His littermate, Palepaw, passed away in their early moons as apprentices after falling off a jagged rock, hitting her head. The impact to Palepaw's head was enough to make her fall unconscious, causing enough trauma that her injuries worsened and soon enough, she passed away. Even though Barracudasnap had never been close with his only littermate, he missed her deeply. Maybe he still misses her now as much as he missed her then.

Description: Cinderstorm is anything but a pretty she-cat. Her pelt is an ash-brown color, resembling the dark soot of a volcano. Her frame is small compared to her clanmates, most apprentices overtake her in size around 8 moons. Her long fur is fluffy and soft. It has the potential to be glossy and smooth, if she ever bothered to clean it. Sand and bits of dirt like to stick to it, hiding strong muscles. There's a white splash on her chest that touches her shoulders and a bit of her underbelly. The tips of her tail and ears as well as her back right paw are black. Probably her only saving grace is her eyes. A lovely sea green, they tend to darken and lighten with the seasons.

This most likely off puts any possible friends as they wouldn't know why she's stopped speaking to them.

Roleplay Sample: Cinderstorm had never been one to turn down an adventure. So, when Pantherspot asked her to go out of camp in the middle of the night, there was no way she'd say no. For whatever reason, Pantherspot had been insistent on going after every cat had gone to sleep. Although she didn't understand it, she assumed it was important to the clan's medicine cat. The two traveled far past the clan's regular boundaries. Maybe she's on the hunt for a new herb and needs help bringing it back to camp! The two stopped by an old, rundown twoleg settlement. Inside, Cinderstorm was slightly surprised to find it empty aside from the nest in the middle. Pantherspot took a deep breath before facing her. "I asked you to come because I knew you would understand. I-I'm going to have kits."
