Mossyleap w/ Weaselflare- Pineclaw

"Looks like we'll find out," the she-cat muttered, flicking her tail and sitting in front of the Speaking Stone.

Oatstream w/ Lizardeye & Wolfpaw- bluewonder ; Pineclaw

Oatstream smiled at Lizardeye's joy at seeing Dapplesky, and he himself realizing that she was okay. With a sigh, he heaved himself up and moved closer to the stone so he could hear what Thistlestar had to say.

Shatterfrost w/ Mistsplash- moonclaw400

The tom rested his tail on Mistsplash's flank. "Well, we're all okay now," he meowed reassuringly. He looked over at Thistlestar, who had just called a meeting, and cleared his throat. "Time to see what our leader has to say."

Hollyfeather w/ uhh everyone & Waspfang- bluewonder

Hollyfeather's gaze raked across all of the cats crowding around the medicine den and flicked her tail sharply. "Any cat who isn't injured and who isn't a medicine cat please leave the den. I need as much room as I can to assist everybody who is injured." After this, she heard Thistlestar's familiar yowl and let out a sigh. "I promise I'll tend to everyone after this," she meowed gently. Turning to Waspfang, she added, "I see your concern, and will make sure to take care of your wound after the meeting ends. Do you think you're able to clean it in the meantime?"

Greenthorn frowned a bit as he spoke up"Thistlestar, it was a surprise attack. We had been separated originally to both work on assisting in apprentice training. There had also been no scent of badger in the days leading up to the attack! How were we to expect an attack we had no idea would happen?"

Darkwhisper - Speaking Stone

Darkwhisper sighed and walked over to the speaking stone. Knowing Thistlestar this was not going to be a pleasant meeting. He sat down beside some of his clanmates and waited for the leader to speak. Soon she began and Darkwhisper lowered his gaze a little, glancing over at the three warriors she wanted an answer from. Would they accept her harsh words or would they argue with her? He wouldn't fault them for doing the latter and part of him was hoping that at least one of them wouldn't just take it. With a small nod of acknowledgement he listened as Greenthorn tried to defend himself and the other two.

Wolfpaw - Speaking Stone - with Lizardeye and Oatstream (briefly), then with Ebonywhisker (Ember34 )

Wolfpaw looked over at Thistlestar who was calling a clan meeting and dipped his head to Lizardeye and Oatstream. He also walked over to the speaking stone but instead of choosing to sit with the two elders he joined Ebonywhisker, greeting her with a slight smile and a soft mew. Then he turned his attention on Thistlestar and scowled a little. It felt to him that she was being a little unfair to her warriors.

Weaselflare - Speaking Stone - with Mossyleap (Dark )

Weaselflare nodded and followed Mossyleap, sitting down next to her by the speaking stone. "This is not gonna end well," she muttered. She listened silently at first but she was already glaring at the leader after the first words. Yes, it had taken a surprising number of warriors to finally deal with the badger but to her it seemed more likely that it was because the badger and been very strong, not because Ivyclan was weak. She felt her fur bristle as Thistlestar went on. "Easy for her to critisice them," she meowed, keeping her voice down. "Has she even seen the badger?" While Weaselflare hadn't been part of the fighting patrol either at least she wasn't arrogant enough to think that she could judge the warriors who had had so much trouble with the badger.

Ebonywhisker-Speaking Stone-Patchpaw, Mossyleap, Wolfpaw
Ebonywhisker looked to Patchpaw as the apprentice settled beside her. "Nothing good it seems," she said, scowling as the leader sure enough berated the warriors involved. At least Greenthorn spoke up defending the patrol. Her gaze turned towards Mossyleap as the warrior joined. She smiled as Wolfpaw came over, greeting the apprentice, while she didn't play favorites, but Wolfpaw was definitely her favorite of the apprentices.

Shadecreek - Doing the stupid while the gathered cats look in horror - bluewonder

Shadecreek stood up, legs slightly shaking from rage and growing weakness from his injuries, yet his eyes were a blaze with defiance, “And what does our leader have to say to the cats who nearly gave their lives to take down an elemental badger? What do you say to me who had to fight it alone until reinforcement came? What do you have to say Mintpaw who should have stayed in the nursery? Not almost ripped apart by a badger!” the black tom yowled.

Darkwhisper - Speaking Stone - just watching for now

Darkwhisper watched Thistlestar while Shadecreek went off on her. How would she react to him and Hollyfeather criticizing her in front of the clan? This wasn't the first time someone spoke out against her during a clan meeting but Darkwhisper suspected that this time it would be even worse. And it wasn't like Shadecreek and Hollyfeather were in the wrong, he agreed with every word they said, but Thistlestar wasn't a cat who would just sit down and accept their judgement. More than that, she was fully convinced that she was in the right. This was not an argument these two were going to win.

Weaselflare - Speaking Stone - still just watching but more than ready to go be stupid with Shadecreek and Hollyfeather

Weaselflare waved her tail as Mossyleap went to join Ebonywhisker and Patchpaw and then focused on the ongoing meeting again. She let out a small hiss as Thistlestar went on. Maybe there were things the patrol could have done better, Shatterfrost was even readily admitting so, but she still didn't like how Thistlestar was only looking at their potential mistakes, seemingly not even considering that they had indeed met a surprisingly powerful creature. Weaseflare wished she had been part of the fighting patrol now. Not that she thought that her being there would have changed anything, but at least she would have seen the badger for herself and could say something to defend Shatterfrost's patrol. Then again she probably didn't have to, there was another issue to address after all. She let out a yowl of agreement as Hollyfeather backed up Shadecreek. Then she looked defiantly at Thistlestar. What would their oh so wonderful leader say to them? She dug her claws in the ground as she waited for her to make excuses.

Wolfpaw - Speaking Stone - with Ebonywhisker, Patchpaw and Mossyleap (Ember34 , bluewonder , Dark )

Wolfpaw dipped his head to Mossyleap and smiled at Patchpaw. He let out a soft chuckle at his words about the two youngest apprentices. It must have required a lot of courage for them to go even near such a dangerous creature. Any other cat their age would just have hidden in the nursery. Which made this whole thing even worse. After all Mintpaw and Stoatpaw were still kits and shouldn't be trained yet, let alone fight a badger. Just as he thought about that he heard Shadecreek's angry yowl. He flinched at the sheer rage behind his words but slowly nodded in agreement. When Hollyfeather joined in Wolfpaw sat up a little taller, wanting to see where this was going. He scooted a little closer to Ebonywhisker, still keeping a close eye on the scene before him. "They're right," he meowed. "How can Thistlestar possibly justify that? She is putting kits in danger by training them so soon. And we all saw how it turned out now." He shot a quick look towards the medicine den and then looked back at Thistlestar. "Surely she must see now that she was wrong to apprentice them." He sounded a little doubtful though.

(I just love how we all collectively called yelling at Thistlestar “doing the stupid”)
