Not long ago, I made a thread asking what WG’s favorite TNP point of view was. Once again, I’m not asking for which of these characters you like the most, I’m asking which POV you found the most interesting when reading or enjoyed the most. I’ve been rereading the series, and essentially was going to make one of these threads for every arc when I finished it, but forgot lol. For Lionblaze and Jayfeather, this does not include their POVs in OotS.
Personally, my favorite was Jayfeather. I feel like the way he was introduced was really well done, and the way he sees everything negatively is definitely a unique aspect to a protagonist considering Jayfeather can’t be a mary sue in this situation. In his POV, you can sense all his struggles from not only having to deal with his emotions, but the emotions of others too. I always love the medicine cat POVs because it gives more mysteries and struggles for the protagonist. Jayfeather’s way of thinking in his POV was different, and I like it.
A moment of silence for Lionblaze, who will probably not get any votes.

Hmm... I actually enjoyed all of them, so this is a little hard to say. But as bland as he becomes later, I think I'm actually going to have to go with Lionblaze for this one. Jayfeather I enjoyed for his character and Hollyleaf for her story arc, but I also barely remember Jayfeather's PoV past The Sight and Hollyleaf's PoV only really gripped me after it was revealed she was Ashfur's murderer. Lionblaze meanwhile had a storyline that intrigued me all throughout and had me more engaged than any other "cat trains in the Dark Forest" plot unless you count Crookedstar.

I have to say Hollyleaf. She always an intriguing character for me and I kind of always looked forward to her POV. (Similar in Ivypool in OOTS.) She had a really interesting character arc, especially in Sunrise.

Jayfeather followed by Hollyleaf and then Lionblaze. POT is one of the few arcs that I enjoyed all of the pov’s. The other’s are OOTS, TBC, and ASC. I don’t hate or dislike any of the pov characters in fact I only strongly dislike three characters and none of them were pov’s though one did have a special chapter written in their pov.

Jayfeather. POT Jayfeather has one of the best POVs in the entire series imo. Holly and Lion were great too.

It was tough between Hollyleaf and Jayfeather. I *think* for now I'll go with Jayfeather for his personality and story, but I really, really enjoy Hollyleaf's POV too.
Edit: Nevermind ended up going with Hollyleaf!

Love all three of their PoVs in PoT <3
But went with Lionblaze here seeing how underrated he overall is and the fact that his perspective and characterization during this arc was very interesting and versatile for me to read through (we don't talk about OotS). From his doomed friendship with Heathertail as apprentices to his training in the Dark Forest with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost as well as his conflict with his power of invincibility and invulnerability paired with his occuring nightmares and bloodlust, I just loved it all there.
Hollyleaf's story got more intriguing in the latter half of the arc with her downward spiral/breakdown into murder (Ashfur), attempted murder (Leafpool), hypocrisy (being obsessed with the warrior code but breaking it repeatedly herself) and so on. Jayfeather had a great perspective to read from throughout the entire arc though but I just also really enjoyed the PoVs from his more murderous (or moreso accidentally on Lionblaze's part lol) littermates quite a lot in the long run. His is more of a comfort read so to speak (aside from him basically getting forced into the medicine cat role by StarClan and his Clanmates, that is).

I love all three of them, but have to go with Lionblaze. He had a rather interesting POV throughout the series with his involvement in the Dark Forest, with Heathertail and even with the actions he takes during events in PO3. Jayfeather is a very close second and I do like Hollyleaf, but feel that her POV/Story becomes interesting or more in-depth in the later parts of the series.

I have a soft spot for Lionblaze, much as I disliked his writing in OOTS. I loved his POV in POT and his POV intrigued me the most when I read POT, so my vote will go to him.
Jayfeather is a close second.
When I was a kid reading POT... admittedly, I thought Hollyleaf's POV was boring compared to her brothers, until around Long Shadows-Sunrise.

Hollyleaf. I think all three's POVs were definitely really interesting but Hollyleaf and her determination really spoke to me.
