Susanna shrugged her small shoulders as she took the glass of soda. "I heard you guys talk about your adventures and I thought they sounded really cool!" Her round blue eyes growing in shock at Nate's bags of jewels and the tooth he had brought. "WOA! Nate what did you do to get that? You must of killed a monster or stopped an evil guild to get that much. Is that a tooth?" She tilted her small face to the side as she watched the interaction between Kit and Nate. She then turned to Skylar. "They must really miss each other. I'm glad I can always be with my Twilight." She thought of an image of her pretty little white cat that was currently sleeping in her room right now.

"Hug you, silly! But I could kill you if you ever leave me again." Kit laughed playfully as he climbed all over Nate. "I'm just kidding!" He teased and licked Nate's cheek. He then looked up at Mako and flew over in front of him. "Hi Mako! Long time no see, eh? Do you have a fish for me?"

Skylar watched Nate and Kit with a smile on her face. They were so cute together. She then looked at Susanna and nodded. "They're basically inseparable. I'm actually surprised that Nate didn't take Kit with him on this last job. Must have forgotten." She started cleaning the mug that Roxy had left behind. "So. Anything fun happening with you? I haven't seen you take a job in a while. Is something the matter?" She didn't want to pry, but she thought she might as well ask.

"Yeah they are cute." Su smiled. She stared at Skylar for a bit while she was talking to her and eventually released a sigh as she put down her cup. "I haven't taken a job, because I need practice. I don't know why, but sometimes I freeze up in battle and always end up in trouble.. It really makes Roxy mad, so I've been trying to work on it. Though I don't think she's forgiven me... My brother, Dale, is helping me with my training though!" Her bright smile once again returned to her face. She loved her bother, as did almost everyone in the guild. She didn't care that he broke a few hearts her and there, Dale was still a good guy, just very...immature. But hey, who wasn't? Even she could be very immature at times.

Skylar nodded slowly as she spoke, smiling softly. This was what she was good at, listening to people's problems and helping them where she could. "So you freeze up huh? Maybe I could help you out. I froze up during my first couple of jobs too. All it really takes is some confidence building. Once you're sure of your power, you stop freezing up. What's usually happening when you freeze up?" She tilted her head a bit, hoping it was a problem she could actually help with. If it was a Roxy problem, there wasn't much she could do. When it came to family, she probably knew the least. She would certainly try though.

Skylar glanced at him with a worried look on his face. "Maybe next time you should take one of us with you. We really don't want another job like the one I took happening. It's the reason I'm behind this bar right now. I couldn't even go on a job for months, and by the time I was ready again, I was already basically settled back here." She smiled at him a bit. "So you know. Take Mako, or Rozy along if you're going to do another super dangerous job like that. And don't leave Kit behind. He's not helpless you know."

Nate smiled at the last part, the smile breaking the sadness from his face. "I know, I just worry a lot about him." Nate then pushed the mug back to Skylar. "Could I have another, please?" Nate asked her, then looked at Susanna. "I got that tooth from a beast I was sent to kill, I don't know what it was, it was almost like a dragon, but it had fur in stead of scales. Turns out, the beast was controlled by a dark guild, Midnight Star, I think their name was. So, I had to fight them too, and I tell you, it wasn't no walk in the park. After I defeated them, I went to claim my reward, demanding that I receive payment for the destruction of the guild as well, since that was another job on the board. They said that since I didn't 'accept' the job of bringing down the guild, they couldn't pay me for it. The prize for destroying the guild was 35,000,000 jewels." Nate said to her. "But I'm back home now, and that's all behind me."

"Well... I get afraid sometimes. Afraid that I won't do well or I'll get beat up and still not do well. My power is sort of difficult to learn, like I almost need to be a different person to use it. When I'm alone, it works so well, like I've been practicing it all of my life. That all changes when I face an opponent though.." She hung her head down in shame, feeling like she was ready to burst into tears. Honestly, Su didn't want anyone to see her cry, since she thought it made everything uncomfortable and also made people feel bad for no reason. Plus, she didn't want to do that in front of the S-classes, especially because they were having such a great time. "Maybe I should just leave.."

Kit gasped in disbelieve as his wide eyes stared a Nate. "That doesn't sound dangerous at all and you probably had a lot of fun! Without me.... Nate, why would you have fun without me?... Did you at least bring me back a fish?" Kit started to cry, making fake sniffling sounds as he rubbed his eyes.

"Oh gimme, gimme, gimme!" Kit hopped up and too the fish with a happy, sort of goofy facial expression. He then put the fish into his mouth and decided he would talk while it was there. "Nate would never lose to anyone. Isn't that right, Nate? You probably gave that monster and dark guild a beating of a life time. Right?"

Skylar blinked in surprise as Susanna talked. "Hey, don't cry." She smiled at her kindly. "Just because you have difficulty eith your magic doesn't mean you need to leave. I mean, I created my magic from scratch. It shouldn't have worked at all. Maybe you just need to practice on someone that isn't your family? I can always let you try out your spells on me. I have dispell, so I can always reverse the effects of your magic. You shouldn't be afraid."

Nate chuckled and grinned slightly. "I'm not the strongest wizard in the world, bud." Nate said, even though quite a few people would disagree, mostly the people he had to knock out/overpower/ultimately destroy. "There's always someone stronger than you out there, someone who could beat you." Nate said, then turned to look at Susanna. "I'll let you try your magic on me, as well, Skylar could always dismiss the spells." Nate said, then glanced at Skylar. "Speaking of Skylar, could I have another re-fill, please?"

Skylar smiled sheepishly. "Sorry Nate!" She quickly poured him another drink and held it out to him. "This one is on me for forgetting." She was actually starting to get low on the money she'd earned from that last job. She wanted to take another job for a reason. The master not paying her did have its downside. Sometimes he could be too busy.

Susanna's pale cheeks blushed a rosy red at the offers of help both Skylar and Nate gave to her. "You too are so generous and I would love to do that!... though I hope I don't disappoint you two. I see that you guys have a lot of faith in me and all.." She sighed again and rubbed her eyes.
Kit finished his fish and leapt onto the counter. "If you want, Susanna, I can practice my fighting moves on you so you get use to being hit."
Susanna tilted her head again and giggled at Kit's comment. "That might not be such a bad idea." She finished her soda.
Shalba entered the Guild hall and took in a deep breath before speaking. "Nate, Mako, Roxy, Skylar. I need to speak with you four. Meet me in my office on the second floor and please don't keep me waiting long. This is a very urgent matter."

Skylar blinked and looked up when Shalba entered. "I was wondering when he would get back." She looked at Susanna and smiled. "Susanna, would you mind going to get your sister? I'd rather not get in trouble because of her." She then winked at her. "And don't worry. Once the master is done with us, Nate and I will still happily help you out. Just make sure you're ready, alright?" She then turned to head up to the second floor. "Let's go boys."

Skylar smiled back at him. "I might join you for one instead of just serving it to you." She'd pocketed the tip Nate had left for her, the master's return stopping her from telling him off about it. She wouldn't have given it back, she would have just told him to be more careful with his money. She came to a stop outside of the master's office and looked back at the boys. "I just hope Roxy doesn't take too long. She sure has terrible timing, leaving when she did." She then turned back and knocked on the door. "Master! We're here! At least, three of us are."
