Skylar nodded in agreement. "Way too easy..." She then shook her head and looked up at him. "They could still be watching us. Let's wait until we're out of sight." She waved towards the paper he'd put away. "Where's the location. Read the first half of it." She wondered why it would take two sides of paper to give a quick location.

Skylar rolled her eyes, shaking her head in exasperation. At least now she knew exactly why she was glad she hadn't gone on any S-Class missions with him. There was no way she would be able to handle him for a month. She would punch him. Everyone had a limit after all. She was proud to say she would last at least two to three weeks. She took the paper and read over it. "Hm...got the location. Not that far from here. Wonder what he wrote on the back..." She flipped it over, then paled.

"That's for sure and maybe next time you can tag along if you're not busy." Akibara said stopping turning around to face Roxy. He noticed that she was closely watching the town for awhile now, figuring something was up but didn't want to press her to get an answer. If something was happening then almost everyone in the guide would know right?

Okay, thanks.  ) And omg, poor Mako...) Dale gritted his teeth together as he watched the dark mage slam his fist into the back of Mako's head. What the H is going on?.. Why is Mako acting this weak?... A pulse of fear jolted through his veins as he saw the sharp iron shards all pointing in her direction. "Crap.. Ice shield!" He shouted as he placed his hands together with his palms facing away from him. An extremely thick, jagged layer of ice quickly formed before him, but it was not enough to stop a few of the shards from glancing his legs. |

Roxy smiled at Akibara as she thought it was nice that he invited her to come along with them sometime. "Thanks and I'm sure it will be fun.. See ya later, Akibara, and tell your brother I said bye." With a tilt of her head, she gave a small wave with her pale, petite hand and turned to walk back into the traffic of the town.

Dale was confused by the first part the mysterious mage was babbling about so he didn't have enough time to react against the attack. "Huffed!" He grunted as the cannon ball chunked into his gut while the shards cut his skin. Of course this didn't kill him or injure him too badly, but it did knock him back into one of the stone walls.

Ryler grinned, picking up Mako's body and tossing it on top of Dale. "I guess I have time for one more attack." He said and stood back, focusing deeply. "IRON MAKE LANCE!" He said and fired the lances at them. Since a knocked out Mako was laying on top of Dale, it would be hard for him to block them. Turning away, he walked a bit and bent down, picking up a sack of jewels that one of them must of sat down before attacking the Carrot Hair Gang. "This was the first step to a new age, my friends. There will be more coming, and you will do good to leave before you get worse than what I gave you." He called over his shoulder before turning normal, the iron skin disappearing before leaving the alleyway.

Skylar sighed and lowered the piece of paper. "In short, Master Theos knew you weren't Shalba, and he told us where to find this dark guild anyways. I don't like this. He's not going to tell our master." She bit her lip and glanced back at the Paradise Bird guild hall. "Why do they have to be so mysterious about everything? It's like they don't think we can handle what they know..." She looked back at Nate. "Scratch that on staying as the master. Since this master already knows, there's no point in hiding. We should probably get a move on though."

Skylar smiled slightly. At least Nate was able to keep such a good attitude with everything going on. Then again, there was no way to tell if said attitude was real or not. "He's not that old. He could be much, much older." She started to walk in the direction of the old dark guild hall. "Should take us about an hour to get there. If we hurry, we can probably shave off fifteen minutes."

Skylar shook her head as she jogged after him. "You weren't actually an old man! You just looked like him!" She couldn't stop the smile though. He may have been insufferable, but he could have been much worse. He could have been angry during all of this. That would have been way worse.

Skylar wasn't going to get anywhere with this. It was like talking to a brick wall. Oh well. At least he had a good attitude. "Oh I'm sure. It must have been tragic for you to be pretending to be so old." She was being sarcastic, teasing him a bit. If you can't beat them, join them.

Skylar glanced up at him. "Well you might want to see a doctor then. Your hips shouldn't be popping at your age. Maybe you should take a break from missions like I did. Certainly gives you time to relax and recover. It's good for your body." She looked forward once more. "Can't pick up women if you need a cane before you even reach my age."

Skylar shuddered a bit. "I'd rather not think about what would happen if the master was here. Kicking our butt would be the least of our worries. Though he would have to wait a week, since that's how far he would send us." She didn't like it when the master got angry. She liked it even less when it was aimed in her direction.
