Ashtail padded over to the fresh-kill pile, giving into the hunger gnawing at her stomach. Her amber gaze swept over the pile as she debated on which piece of prey she would pick. Finally, the molly decided on a medium-sized sparrow and gently grabbed it between her jaws. The tortoiseshell glanced around camp, trying to find someone to share the prey with - or at least talk to. Outside the warriors’ den, Ashtail noticed Falconstorm sitting alone, grooming himself. The molly padded over to the short-furred tom, dropped the sparrow and meowed, “Hello Falconstorm! Mind if I hang out with you?”

Falconstorm nodded thanks, tucking his paws under him. He took a small bite of the sparrow and, after swallowing, replied, “I’ve been okay, things could always get better though.” He chuckled a bit. “What about you?” He turned to Ashtail.

Sagethroat glanced at the young molly, looking her over"are you alright Quailfur?"she asked, concerned Quailfur | With Sagethroat | Moonclaw400
"Oh! I'm fine." She says as she sits down, starting to groom the fur on her stomach. "I just have a bit of a stomache ache... Must've eaten a bad mouse."
But then, she's back to pacing, her tail swishing back and forth.

Skipperclaw heard the molly talking about Quailfur. The medicine cat oriented: "I'm going there now! Cormorantpaw, can you call some warriors? The scent of blood may atract some predators.." The she-cat trotted to the nursery, asking to the queen: "Quailfur, are you alright? How are you feeling?"

Tansypaw’s ears perked up in excitement, “I smell rabbit!” The tabby tom quietly made his way over to where the rabbit’s scent led, and found a brown-furred rabbit nosing through the grass. How do I catch rabbits again? Something about chasing after them, right? Tansypaw darted forward, and snagged the unsuspecting rabbit with his forepaws. It thrashed around, but Tansypaw quickly sunk his teeth into the rabbit, killing it. “Ywess!” The tabby exclaimed around his jaws.

“As much as I’d love helping young cats on their path to be a warrior, I feel as a though I wouldn’t be an ideal mentor.” The tortoiseshell paused and twitched her whiskers in amusement, “Especially with how I failed my first warrior assessment and got held back a moon.” Ashtail glanced down at her paws, “It was horrible still being stuck in the apprentice’s den while my littermates got to be warriors.”

A bit flustered with the sudden attention, Quailfur's ears flicked back for a moment as she let out a huff. But she shifted herself into a laying position, as now the pressure was starting to turn into something painful.

"It's called confidence." The young apprentice snorted, "And I have the skill to back it up too! I've been having a very successful hunt and... and I chased off a loner all by myself." Swanpaw added, though by the sudden flash of nervousness across his face, the young apprentice had perhaps said more than he meant to or at least he was rethinking mentioning his run in with Hail to the other apprentice. He hardly thought he'd be caught in the lie, but...
Blackfang w/ Rookcloud, Goldenwhisker, and Emberpaw.
Blackfang looked thoughtful for a moment, then shrugged lightly, at least trying not to seem too concerned about the matter of the apprentices. Up until now, there hadn't been too much to be concerned about regarding apprentices on their own, but only a fool wouldn't consider the dangers at all. Granted, he didn't want to imply the clan's apprentices weren't being trained proper either, but they certainly weren't ready to run into genuine threats. "Either we find them while we're out or I send someone out to find them later." the deputy explained, "But for all we know, they might be back at camp before we even return."

Mintkit | An old soul, despite being so young. The little kit almost seems like he's been on this plane of existence before, though his mother will tell you that you're being silly. Bouncy and full of energy, Mintkit is sneaky, fun-loving and always looking for ways to get into trouble. Or, at least, he will be when he's older.
