Falconstorm w/ Hailpaw & Ashtail- Junospower 𝙵𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙When they reached the Great Stone, Falconstorm stopped walking. “I was thinking we could start with a front paw blow.” He demonstrated the move in the air, quickly at first, then more slowly. “This is a move designed to be used with sheathed claws. You strike your paw down on your opponent’s head. I personally use it as a distraction.”

Hailpaw - with Falconstorm and Ashtail - Dark ; 𝙵𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙As Falconstorm explained the move, Hailpaw mimed his mentor, slowly moving his paw in time with him to get a feel for the attack. “Distract them with this blow so you can follow with another attack?” the gray tom asked, trying to get into the mind-set of a true warrior.

"Hm... seems to be good, not really a move you can mess up much." He chuckled softly. "Though I think you could loosen up a bit, try to be less tense. You can never be fully sure what your attacker could hit you with."

Hailpaw - with Falconstorm and Ashtail - Dark ; 𝙵𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙Hailpaw tried again, taking Falconstorm’s advice and release his tension. He immediately noticed the difference and his paws moved more fluidly.

He thought for a moment, then asked, "Ready to try it against a real foe?" His eyes glinted with... excitement? The tom hadn't had an apprentice before, and he liked how it was going so far.

Ashtail sat beside the Great Stone, her torbie tail curled tightly around her paws. She didn’t want to interrupt Falconstorm and Hailpaw’s training. As she watched the two toms, Ashtail began to wish she had an apprentice. Though, the molly thought, Plumstar probably wouldn’t give me one - I wouldn’t be that great at teaching an apprentice how to fight. Ashtail wondered if Falconstorm would let her tag along when he trained Hailpaw - she wouldn’t be that much help, but the molly was sure she could help out with something.

(( Oh, yeah! I assumed Brindlepaw would probably win tbh, knock the wind out of Swanpaw's sails a little LOL )) Swanpaw w/ Brindlepaw Dark "Old enough to get left in my dust...!" Swanpaw retorted, a cheeky smile crossing his face in leu of his usual pompousness with no signs of actually being offended, though he'd certainly not lowered his arrogant stance any. "The only one who should be scared is you! Of course I'm ready...!" The snow colored puff ball exclaimed, practically prancing off as he parted his jaws to scent the air. Even so, all their scrambling about had likely frightened anythign immediately nearby off but there was plenty of territory left to trample about in. |

She checked the air for prey scent and recognized the familiar smell of mouse. The molly was quiet on her paws, immediately getting into a hunter's crouch as soon as she spotted the brown fluff of a mouse. |

"Hunting around here wouldn't be so bad anyways.", the loner said as she looked around the fields, realizing how vast it was. "I'm craving a good plump mouse right now.", she said under her breath as she poorly mimicked a hunting crouch, excited to do a basic task.
