I am, though it has me in such a choke hold cause of the latest update either legit did the entire story the day it dropped and now I have to wait till March for the next patch but even then the next story patch apparently isn't till June, why I rush the story 😭, but yea obsessions are good as long as they are harmless, you have a blast with your games too!!
Omg I love it so much more now and it needs to happen otherwise I'm throwing all the hands and maybe I'll just have to these angst measures into my own hands
Going to finally try ge them up or die trying, and for sure that makes sense they are off doing other things and then becoming nore prominent once elusia comes round cause all hand son deck its the dragon child despite the fact the dragon child basically is more on par with being a child then an actual threat
I do too XD especially since the quotes are way to in character or are things they would probably do just not in that circumstance/with that person

Yikes, that's brutal. Waiting until March is one thing (and it's still a while until then) but until June? Oof. And I can imagine it would be hard to just slow down if not outright impossible. I tend to rush through games I love too. Heck, I almost finished PMD Explorers of Darkness on the day I got it xD Played the whole night from Friday to Saturday and made it to just before Temporal Tower. I also would have pulled an all nighter with Blue Rescue Team if I hadn't struggled so much with Moltres back then. And when I played Golden Sun Dark Dawn for the first time (also on release day) I also played the whole night and beat the majority of the game in that time. I no longer do that stuff of course, no matter how great a game is (sometimes it's really tempting though) but I still tend to rush through games if I really like them. So yea, I can only imagine how hard it must be to wait. It's great to enjoy a game so much but man, I really don't envy you. And yea, having lots of fun. Just finished one of my favorite parts of the game! The music and atmosphere of those ruins... knowing full well that we're about to unleash something dangerous... the brief quiet before the storm and then all hell breaks loose. Suddenly there are people panicking, some corpses block some paths, new kinds of monsters show up, the group has to make their way out of the city... The next part after escaping will be a bit tedious but still enjoyable enough (also the few towns you get to revisit and seeing how that ancient machine we activated in Belinsk Ruins is affecting those places as well) especially once it gets closer to the end. Love the final dungeon and I'm even dreading the final boss somewhat. So far the bosses have been pretty easy but I remember how tough the Final Boss was on my first run. Yup, looking forward to that! And the secret bosses too, most of them are also pretty good. Haha, sorry I keep rambling so much about this stuff ^^ Feel free to do the same with your game, I may not know anything about it but it's always fun to see someone enjoy the things they're really into!
Alright alright, I'll make sure it happens xD No way I'm not gonna do it, I've had that idea for so long now I just have to do this!
Hehe, alright! ^^ And yea, the Dragon Child may not be what Elusia is expecting but they'd still want their elite cultists defending their country against him and his squad
Exactly! xD And thanks to those dumb quotes we even made some stuff canon, in both rps. I'm also messing around with the Incorrect Quotes Generator again because it's still got some fun ones. Also using it for my GS OCs, I learned quite a bit about those idiots (either "yea, this one definitely fits them" or "okay, this one is great, I'm making that canon now!") and their dynamics which I may not have thought of otherwise

Finally done with Javor. Unless I forgot something. Man, that bird is a pain in the ass xD So now I need to finish Cenric (hobbies and talents) and get finally started with Askaval, Maska, Rakesh and Fenra. I already put them in my other post with the rest of my forms but still have to get anything done with them, so far I only filled in their name, age and gender. And in Askaval's case also the class. Still need to figure those out for the other three. Also still need to come up with special abilities for Rakesh and Fenra but I'm sure I'll come up with something. Oh, and I also need to name Maéva's class. Still haven't done that xD

Hahaha! Sounds like you've got your hands full then xD I think I know what game you're talking about. It does look interesting and I might try out the demo too sometime. Compared to Fire Emblem, how difficult or complicated are the battles? Sure, it's just the demo so it won't throw anything too difficult at you but you can probably already tell what the combat system is like
Also, nearly done with the bonus stuff in Dark Dawn. Beat the final boss last Sunday and wow. At first I thought I took the level grinding too far but nope, after some turns the boss began to launch its strongest attacks and even my somewhat overleveled characters took some nasty damage. Yup, still a worthy final boss. Went from "haha, wow, how did I ever struggle with this?" to "oh shit, that's why!" very suddenly xD Unfortunately also the only challenging boss in the game (not counting the four secret bosses, they're really tough too), the others (aside from the second boss) were way too easy. The first two games weren't super hard either but the bosses were still pretty good. Anyway, all that's left is the last bonus dungeon, loaded with puzzles, treasures (including some good weapons) and the last two summons, the final one being guarded by the most brutal boss in the game. The other three optional bosses were lots of fun, especially the water and wind ones because of their gimmicks. The last one though... he's terrifying. Just like he was in The Lost Age, if not worse because of his new ability. Definitely gonna need a few tries unless I get really lucky xD I'm still somewhat in obsession mode though despite almost being done with the games. Ugh. Dear GS OCs, leave my mind alone and stop bothering me when I'm trying to focus on my FE ones!

Battle is kinda similar in a way to fe you maneuver your deployments around the map to attack enemies/take over forts and its layout is very much like the ds games of having sprites in battle/overworld moving but then it cut scenes you get full bodies can try get some pics next time I play if you want, but I like it alot cause teams can be as big as 6 so really helps out
Ooo nice!!! I love moments like that when revisiting a game and you think you are doing great and get cocky only to then to be hit with where you struggled to get humbled real quick. I'll fight the GS ocs at Dennys if they keep this behavior up i say like i also havent been neglectful of my own ocs

So it should be very familiar then. Alright, thanks ^^ Teams, huh? Yea, it kinda looked like that on the few screenshots I saw on the eshop page. Also the one thing that makes me hesitate. Scary new things and stuff xD
Yea, it's a great feeling, especially since I had a relatively easy time with the final boss of the previous game. Oh, it was still a tough one but I didn't struggle nearly as much as I thought I would. So that also contributed in me getting overconfident when this final boss started out with its weak attacks, completely forgetting what this creature was capable of once its HP were at the halfway point. Also, nothing tells you you've reached that phase. Nothing to tell you "Alright, I guess we're at phase two now, things might get tougher now" like the previous one so those stronger attacks can catch you by surprise. Good thing I took advantage of the random encounters before that boss. They give out lots of exp and drop the super useful Water of Life item, which revives a downed ally. I collected many so everyone in the party had some in their inventory. And good thing I did! Oh, and good luck with that xD First of all, there's twelve of them (three teams of four, though right now I'm mostly focused on only eight of those guys). All of them are adepts (can use psynergy, pretty much the form of magic in Golden Sun) and one of them can turn into a dragon. Another one is a werewolf. Oh, and I guess there's two (named) villains too (though I haven't thought much of them yet. also some more unnamed ones) and unlike my other ocs they would not hold anything back So yea, don't mess with them xD But now I'm starting to wonder how they'd fare against or get along with my FE characters. There'd be some nice friendships and fun rivalries I bet!

Finally started working on one of my remaining characters. Not much, I only wrote some stuff for Askaval (personality) but it's a start
Edit: added a bit more to Askaval's personality. I also hope to get started with the other three Followers. While they will only become important later on since I originally intended for them to replace Fiore, Maéva and Cenric once I kill them off they will still make their first appearance before that. Also, Maska has really grown on me with how much I talked about him so I kind of want him to appear more often and earlier than I first intended, he'll probably be a regular like my other Followers but like Ivora he won't be on every mission with the group at first. As for Fenra and Rakesh, at least with them I stick to the original plan so they'll first show up when the good guys reach Elusia and will only become more important after two of my Followers die

Oof. Almost done with Askaval but holy shit, this might be the longest form I've written so far. And I still have to add likes, dislikes, hobbies and talents. Yikes. Uh... is there a character limit for posts? Because the one where I put all of my forms is already pretty long (and I might put all forms in spoiler tags, one for each realm, so we don't have to scroll down so much) and it with my four new Followers it will get even longer xD I probably won't have to write that much for Fenra and Rakesh but Maska will probably also get a pretty long form Anyway, here's my wimpy assassin for now (I'll also edit my other post to update their form there too)
Askaval | 17 | Non Binary | Elusia | Assassin | Askaval is of average height but may seem shorter as they often keep their head slightly ducked. They have somewhat messy short black hair and purple eyes with some small golden flecks in their left one. | Askaval is a timid and gentle person who is easily intimidated and hates seeing others being harmed. They are very sensitive and some might call them a crybaby for it as they tend to tear up over something as minor as someone glaring or raising their voice at them and also for how it's not unusual for them to cry after or even during a battle because they can't bear to hurt or kill other people. Anyone seeing Askaval for the first time wouldn't believe that they are a highly skilled and valued assassin and one of the royal heir's retainers, given how soft-hearted they are. Neither is something Askaval ever wanted to be but their loyalty to the Fell Dragon, the king and their liege compels them to just stick to it. They would have been expected to fight for the royal family anyway, given how Askaval is from a bloodline that has sworn eternal loyalty to the Fell Dragon in exchange for power. Askaval couldn't have gotten a worse ability for someone with their personality and they try to use it as little as possible, wearing an enchanted bracelet that serves as a limiter to suppress their powers. They only ever take it off if ordered to by their liege or if they themself think it's the only option. Since this ability makes them not only attack enemies but also allies if they stand too close and also how gruesome it is Askaval will always feel guilty after using it. Regardless of whether they use their ability or not Askaval often has to convince themself to kill an enemy, trying to tell themself that the ones they're fighting are trying to harm those they care about and that they are a threat to Elusia. It still doesn't make them feel any less bad about having to take someone down and Askaval often wishes that all this violence wouldn't be necessary and that they could live a quiet and simple life. Aside from not wanting to hurt or kill others Askaval also fears getting hurt or killed themself, something that makes them afraid of many things that might be dangerous. Despite those fears Askaval will do anything to protect their loved ones or even innocents that aren't involved in the conflict between Elusia and the ones opposing the Fell Cult. Thanks to their family's connection to the Fell Dragon neither Askaval nor their siblings have many friends as most people in Elusia see them as not quite human and think of them as higher beings that are above them but also as freaks of nature that are to be feared. Aside from their family the only other people Askaval feels close with are the assassin who trained them, the royal heir and their fellow retainer. They're fearful of meeting new people and more often than not have to fight the urge to hide behind someone they trust when interacting with them for the first time. It's hard for them to fully trust someone and even with those they consider to be close friends Askaval fears they'd just abandon them if they somehow disappoint them. Out of everyone they've sworn their loyalty to it's the royal heir Askaval will follow above everything and everyone else, even if it means going against the king or even the Fell Dragon, though the latter is something they don't think will ever happen. Both cases are something Askaval would have a hard time with, having been raised as a devoted Fell Follower all their life and feeling indebted to the king as he had personally sent his knights the second he found out that Askaval and their siblings Maska and Talia had run into trouble with some Brodians at the border when the three of them were still little kids. Askaval feels a great sense of duty towards anyone they owe something to, even if they aren't good people and may not have had the best intentions when helping them. While Askaval can tell right from wrong they still need a lot of convincing to accept that they don't have to feel obligated to everyone they think they're indebted to. | Likes: | Dislikes: | Hobbies: | Talents: | Askaval is the ninth child of Finbar and the second one of his first wife Aldara. Like everyone in their family and also like most members of the Fell Cult they were taught how to fight as soon as they could hold a weapon though their parents and oldest siblings always made sure it didn't become too much for their age. One day Askaval and their two younger siblings Maska and Talia accompanied their half-brother Taran when he had an errand to run but as they soon got bored as they waited for him to be done the three of them ran off to play somewhere outside. Straying a little too close to the border to Brodia they ran into a small group of warriors from there who had crossed into Elusian land. Upon seeing that the three children were most likely nobles, and especially important ones at that, they decided to capture them and bring them before their king for surely he would appreciate such valuable hostages. The siblings immediately decided to flee, knowing that despite their training there was no way they could take on some adults at their age, but the Brodians soon cornered them. The second they got too close though Askaval suddenly began to fight, madly slashing at the Brodians with their daggers and moving in such a way no one could get a hold of them. They also seemed to know exactly where to strike their enemies to inflict the most damage to them, effectively killing one of them, crippling another one and wounding the third and fourth one badly enough they couldn't chase after the kids as they finally could make their escape. Only as they fled did Askaval notice that they had also attacked their siblings during their frenzy and it was only thanks to Talia's ability she hadn't gotten hurt. They didn't manage to run far due to Askaval being exhausted after that fight and Maska being more and more affected by his injuries. Being too focused on getting away they noticed too late that a second group of Brodians was chasing after them, this one much bigger than the first one. One of them managed to capture Maska and tried to kill him in front of his siblings to make them come along willingly but ended up dying himself when Maska used his ability on him. It startled the Brodians long enough for him to rejoin his siblings and the three tried to flee again, the Brodians chasing them soon after that. Just before they could reach them a group of knights lead by the king himself and some of their older siblings showed up and fought the Brodians off. Finbar, who had also been part of the group, and Taran, who felt responsible for not having looked better after his half-siblings, thanked the king and apologized for having allowed this to happen in the first place. The king rejected their thanks, stating that there was no need for that, but Finbar insisted. Then however the king turned to Askaval and their siblings and wanted to know if any of them had discovered their special ability. All three of them could confirm but it took a while to fully explain, neither of them really wanting to talk about what they had just been through. Then the king told Finbar if he still wanted to thank him he could send one of the three to the castle so they could be trained as an assassin. Usually the children of this family are only sent to the castle once they're twelve years old but the king wanted to make an exception this time. Feeling obligated because the king and his knights had just saved their lives and not wanting to put Maska and Talia through this Askaval volunteered to be trained despite dreading the thought of having to become an assassin. Their mentor turned out to be strict but also surprisingly patient and understanding in regards to their aversion to having to kill, always being willing to listen and sometimes telling some stories of his own training. Askaval never felt any better about their job but learned how to focus on the task at hand and just cry about it later. To their great discomfort their turned out to be a very quick learner and soon became a skilled assassin, even exceeding the king's expectations for them. A few months after their own training began Maska was sent to train at the castle too, albeit for something different. At first Askaval was outraged by this since their brother wasn't old enough yet and they should have been the only one to start their training too soon but they were told that due to his ability Maska needed a special training and that it had to start sooner rather than later to get the most use of it. For a while they accepted that until one day they walked in on one of his training sessions. Witnessing the brutal methods of his mentor Askaval used all their courage to step in and tell him off for his cruelty but was quickly told to stay out of it by both, Maska pleading with them to not interfere and his mentor telling them he would have to punish Maska for their insolence. After this Askaval reluctantly left them to it, not wanting to make it even worse but the damage was already done and Maska began to resent them. Askaval tried to be there for him whenever possible but soon Maska began to yell at them to leave him alone, sometimes screaming that he hates them and one time even using his ability on them. Eventually Askaval could no longer bear their brother's hatred and chose to avoid him as best as they could, no matter how much they still wanted to offer him words and gestures of comfort. After some years the king told Askaval that he wanted them to become his heir's retainer and, still feeling like he owed him, they accepted despite not really wanting to. Their family was incredibly proud of them and their eldest brother Ravis gave them a bracelet Talia had made. He used his magic to make it indestructible as the material wasn't that sturdy and about a year later he cast another spell on it with the help of their other magically inclined siblings after (royal) and (other retainer) told him all about how much Askaval hated their ability and how it could also harm Askaval themself if used too much and how the two of them hoped that Ravis, who was the greatest mage of Elusia if not all of Elyos, could enchant some trinket in such a way that it could repress their ability. Not too long after this Ravis and some other Followers were sent to recruit some new laguz from an island close to both Elusia and Brodia but only few of them returned. One year later Askaval still misses him greatly and considers his bracelet not only a gift from their little sister but also a memento of Ravis as that limiter was imbued with his magic. | Demisexual Panromantic | Pineclaw |

we love long forms! will have to read through all that when i have the free time, really sorry for how much ive been neglecting responses here going to try kick myself in gear for rela and try do it sometime soon maybe friday when i only have one class,
but one idea of a new character that has hit me from doing literally anything else but planning is making a sibling of hias, who does learn the truth, and while they do work to make amends with hias they know that they no longer are able to apart of one anothers lives once the battle is over cause hias has a new one(found fmaily/siblings of our firene trio) but at least gives hias some small closure of at least one of their siblings not hating them(while other two being dead and other ones just not knowing the truth)

Alright ^^ In the meantime I will try to work a bit more on my characters, especially on finishing Cenric and Askaval and getting started on Maska. Thought a bit more about him and yikes, his training really ****ed him up Oooh, I like that! Another sibling but this time one who will no longer hate them. The closest we have so far is that sister that got adopted by Calais's parents and while I think she will believe Hias when they tell her the truth (since she grew up away from Sedral and didn't get fed with as many lies as Lukov did) she still resents them for having abandoned her and the others. She feels bad for it because she knows they had no real choice but she just can't help it. She'll apologize for that and wish them all the best but also say it's best the way it is right now (her living with her new parents and Hias having found a new family in Firene) and she doesn't think she would want to be around Hias aside from formality stuff. So having another sibling who not only believes Hias but also will work to make amends would be great! Hias deserves a sibling who neither hates nor resents them, even if it's just to give them some closure
Edit: Yup, now I know Maska's form will be even longer than Askaval's. I've only filled out his backstory and "Other" and it's already pretty long. And wow, I may have gone too far with it but it just kinda happened, the more I thought about him the more things came up about his backstory. Not posting it yet, I wanna fill out 'personality' first, but I think I'll already warn you. Poor kid's backstory not only includes physical abuse and mental abuse, now it also includes self-harm. And trauma from almost getting killed by those Brodians back then. Shit, I didn't mean to dump so much on him but like I said, the more I thought about him the more those things became clear. Sorry, kid, at least you have Maéva, Lukov and his sister. And all of them will die. ...yeah, his life sucks

gl, and askaval and maska needs all the hugs and all the *insert favorite snacks and drinks and whatever else to make them a happy little bean they could possibly need*
yea she believes him but holds resentment for Hias up and leaving, but yea thought eh let them have one sibling that at least tries to make amends, so we have 2 that die, 1 that knows the truth but feels they are better not in each others lives, and 1 that wants to make amends, and then 1 that just vibes/probably never learns truth/never meets hias. but yea give some closure with their siblings that is at least a bit better to the other closures theyve been getting. but yea hias probably would only ever return ever to brodia for fomralitity stuff should Marceaus needing to go there cause they foudn their home in firene(plus they lowkey dont trust leaving the other two alone cause those two would 100% happily not take care of themselves properly and while they still do with hias present they at least can try to stop it)

They really do. Worked a bit more on both and man, things just keep getting worse xD Most of Askaval's talents are things that are related to their work as an assassin and that's just something they're not happy about. Anyway, here's what I have for Maska so far. Once again, it got way too long. Ugh, he's definitely my most depressing character Maska | 16 | Male | Elusia | Halberdier | Maska has short black hair and blue eyes with some golden flecks in his right one. He's short for his age. | Maska is a very dedicated and devout Follower, living solely to do the king's and Fell Dragon's bidding. Some of the others would say he's way too serious for his age and has no sense of fun or humor, always focusing on serving the cult, looking down on the likes of Levia or Fiore and seeing their shenanigans as nothing more than a waste of time and a disgrace to the Fell Dragon. Maska likes to keep his distance from the others, only interacting with them if it is related to any missions as anything beyond that serves him no purpose. There are only very few people he let himself get close with and even with them he tends to be a bit awkward, not knowing how to navigate friendships as he has forgotten how to show affection. It also takes him some time to accept any kind gestures and with some few exceptions he always tries his best to push people away as nothing good comes from such displays of weakness. If someone can't take a hint and still bothers him Maska will lash out at them and sometimes even resort to threats or violence. Aside from that he tends to be very cold and detached and, when dealing with enemies of the Fell Cult, very ruthless. He often looks at things with a certain bitterness and he regards the other Followers with jealousy, especially his siblings. Maska is often working on himself, doing everything in his power to make sure he doesn't disappoint his superiors and seems to be terrified of failures and mistakes. He's overly strict with himself, seeing what is a result of a traumatizing experience as a weakness he needs to overcome and a personal failing that he deserves punishment for. Maska is deeply ashamed of his panic attacks and afterwards isolates himself from others to cry in frustration or literally beat himself up over it as this is how he learned to deal with it. He also tends to flinch away if someone tries to touch him, even a simple handshake or a high-five being a lot for him, but he sometimes allows the few people he trusts to make physical contact, at least as long as they give him a heads up and wait for him to give permission. However none of his siblings are among those trusted ones and Maska shows a clear resentment towards them, rejecting any efforts to reconnect on their end. He used to be close to them but thanks to his mentor he has grown distant. Anyone who knew him from before he began his training can also tell how much he has changed, having once been a sweet and curious child who was doted on by his siblings and even some people outside his family and who gladly returned that affection. Those who hear about it but have only known him at a later point have a hard time imagining that this is supposed to be the same person. Maska himself says that that was then and this is now and that change is natural but sometimes when he's alone he misses those old days and cries for what those harsh years of training have taken from him. Only then and sometimes when he is with his friends can he admit that he's nothing but a broken shell of his former self and that he hates that things have turned out this way. But it's also with those few trusted ones that some of his old traits can surface every now and then and because of this he became very attached to them, seeing his bond with them as the only way to still have some sense of his almost forgotten self, though he has a hard time showing it due to not being used to having any positive connections in his life. | Likes: Proving his worth, serving the Fell Dragon, being around his friends, being left alone by everyone else. While there are probably more things he likes Maska isn't aware of them, not having thought of any good things in years. A small part of him also still loves his siblings. | Dislikes: Failing at something, the Divine Dragon, idiots, not being able to overcome his weaknesses, being touched, his siblings, his mentor, Brodia. | Hobbies: Training, trying to get better at using his own weapons on himself, listening to the wisdom of the older Followers. He never picked up any actual hobbies besides those. | Talents: | Maska is the tenth child of Finbar and the third of his first wife Aldara. He was trained the moment he could hold a weapon but, like his other siblings, only as much as was possible for his age. One day he, Askaval and Talia got to accompany their half-brother Taran for one of his errands but soon grew bored and instead of waiting for him to be done with it they decided to run off and play. They happened to run into a group of warriors from Brodia and as they talked about capturing them the three siblings fled. The adults caught up to them in no time at all and cornered them but Askaval stopped them from doing anything else, taking on the four Brodians all by themself with quick and precise strikes and slashes. Unfortunately Maska and Talia also ended up on the receiving end but while his sister was unharmed thanks to her own ability he had no such luck. Once Askaval had dealt with the Brodians they three of them made a run for it but were slowed down, Maska already getting weaker form his wounds and Askaval being worn out from having used their ability. Soon the three realized that another group of Brodians was chasing them, this one much larger than the first one. They quickly caught up to them and before he knew it one of the warriors was already grabbing Maska by his arm and yanked him back. His siblings stopped immediately, both because they could no longer run and because they noticed that the Brodians had caught him. His captor noticed his injuries and decided that Maska would be a worthless hostage and that he should kill him to make the other two kids come along willingly. Taking delight in seeing Elusians suffer, even if it's a child, he decided to slam Maska against a rock several times and then wait for him to die. But just as he was about to get slammed into it for the third time Maska suddenly activated his ability, not even realizing it at first until he was already fully healed and his captor suddenly let go of him. Maska wasted no time and rejoined his siblings while the Brodians were too startled by how his tormentor had went from perfectly fine to dying in mere seconds. Their shock didn't last for long though and soon they were going after the children again but were finally stopped by Elusia's king, some of his knights and Maska's oldest siblings and father. Initially dismissing Finbar's thanks for saving his children the king suddenly changed his mind after learning about their abilities. He suggested one of them come to the castle and train to become an assassin. Eventually Askaval volunteered upon seeing how upset their siblings were about the idea and Maska was both grateful for it but also felt guilty for putting this on them, knowing full well that Askaval was the most sensitive and timid of them. He still felt relieved that neither he nor Talia had to beging any official training before they were old enough. A few months later however the king asked Finbar and Aldara to send him anyway, not to become an assassin though but a knight with a special purpose. It took long to convince them and they only agreed because they understood that with an ability like his he needed some extra training to figure out how to best utilize it. What none of them knew however was just what kind of training it would be, believing it wouldn't be too different from the normal one. His mentor had special permission from the king to do whatever it takes to turn Maska into an effective weapon, no matter how cruel it was. Thanks to that no one could order him to stop even if they knew what he was doing. The day he began his official training everything in his life was about to change, from his bond with his siblings to his very personality. Even the day it began his mentor went all out, not caring that Maska was just a child. He always seemed to find new ways to hurt him, beating and kicking him at first and later bringing in weapons too, and only became more relentless every time he showed any weakness, often yelling at him to stop crying and calling him weak or pathetic. Most of the time his mentor would bring in a prisoner afterwards or a cult member who had failed at a task so Maska could either kill or just hurt them with his ability. Other times he forced him to just deal with it, forbidding him from seeking out one of the healers and also not bringing him a target, arguing that Maska would have to build up his pain tolerance if he wanted to be of any use in battle. Sometimes he waited for his wounds to get infected before finally letting him use his ability on someone, this too serving to make him stronger and more useful. On some days his mentor would take out his bad mood on him by being even more violent than usual but he made Maska believe that he was only punishing him in place of his siblings whenever they've done something wrong. This lie would serve to slowly getting him to resent his siblings over the years. One time Askaval happened to walk in on one of those training sessions and stepped in, telling his mentor to stop. Knowing that this would be seen as a weakness of his Maska begged them to stay out of it but his mentor was already saying that he would have to punish him for his sibling's insolence. At first Maska didn't blame Askaval for it but eventually he began to resent them. Things only got worse as all of his siblings would try to comfort him or secretly make things more bearable whenever they saw him but his mentor would find out almost every time. In turn his training became more harsh, as punishment for being so weak that he would crawl to his siblings for support, ignoring the fact that it had been them seeking him out. While Maska began to slowly resent all of his siblings, due to making things worse by being nice to him, because he believed his mentor often punished him for any of their failures and due to realizing none of them had to go through the things that he had, he began to hate Askaval the most, now blaming him for that one time they talked back to his mentor. It only got worse when his mentor came up with more lies, making him believe that if Askaval hadn't volunteered to become an assassin then Maska would have gotten a different training and mentor. None of it was true of course, the king had wanted Askaval as an assassin and Maska as a special weapon the moment he had heard about their abilities, but Maska needed someone to blame, to make sense of his awful treatment. He'd show his hatred more often, eventually outright screaming at him and one time using his ability on them. After those incidents Askaval finally left him alone and Maska both feels horrible for having driven his formerly favorite sibling away from him but also feels betrayed that Askaval would actually stay away from him. After some years of training his mentor took him on some small missions and Maska did well on those, though he only knew so because his mentor wasn't demeaning him for once. One time though he took him to the border separating Elusia from Brodia, along with some other knights. At first things went well but then they reached the point where Maska and his siblings had been attacked by Brodians back then. Instead of fighting alongside the others Maska began to panic, not even registering what was going on around him and instead reliving the encounter with those warriors. It got even worse when his mentor suddenly grabbed him by the arm and yanked him back, yelling at him to stop embarrassing him and join the fight already. Realizing the kid wasn't going to do as he was told anytime soon he just tossed him to the ground and kicked him several times for being a weak coward and for wasting his training. Once they were back at the castle his mentor decided that Maska would have to atone for his uselessness in that battle, saying that the kicking and insulting hadn't been a punishment but had been necessary to snap him out of it. Instead of beating him or grabbing a weapon however he just handed the boy a dagger, telling him if he really was sorry then he'd have no problem to prove it by carrying out the punishment himself. Maska understood what was expected of him but couldn't bring himself to stab or cut himself so eventually his mentor did it for him by grabbing his hand and forcing him to injure himself. From then on this became a regular part of his training. His mentor demanded that he best learn to quickly injure himself because in some cases he would have to use his ability on someone who couldn't harm him. Despite his best efforts Maska never got over his hesitation and soon began to think of himself as too weak for it. He still tries to get better at it but so far he hasn't succeeded and sees it as a huge failure on his part, same for how he reacts to being at that certain part of the border or having his arm grabbed. Every time he panics because of it he just gets angrier at himself and does his dagger practice as punishment. | Bisexual Demiromantic. While he only uses lances in combat, as usual for his class, he also always has a small dagger with him though he only ever uses it on himself, either so he can use his ability on someone who can't harm him or to try and get less hesitant about it. He's incapable of fighting or even being in the exact location where he and his siblings were once attacked by those Brodian warriors as he will suffer from panic-attacks there. The same thing happens when someone grabs him by the arm. | Pineclaw |
Yup, let them have something good from this. Any idea when that sibling will show up? We know that the sister who believes but resents them shows up first, kinda letting Hias hope that their other siblings might be convinced too, then the other sister but Hias doesn't recognize her at first, then Lukov who hates them. Will the next sibling show up after all that or sometime between those? But yea, Hias can't leave Marceau and Rayén alone, they would try to make sure the other takes care of themself but both can be stubborn and it's usually Hias who has the best chance to get both of them to listen

Some more quotes
Fiore: Uh, my sister over there with her tongue hanging out, has been meaning to ask you... Ivora: Yes? Fiore: What a lady such as yourself might be doing tonight? Ivora: Does your sister dance? Fiore: Like a drunk reindeer on ice. Fiore: I feel like a movie star! Maéva: You look like a mental patient. Lukov, about Levia: She's a very strange young woman. Nekosh: She's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. Her parents are probably idiots, too. Lukov: Holy shit, Maska. How much did you drink? Maska: I... fourteen. Lukov: Fourteen what? Maska: Fourteen drinks. Lukov: No, you didn't! Maska: Ok, I can't remember how much I drank. Lukov: So why did you say fourteen?! Maska: Sounded like a good number. Ivora: You’ve got that face on again. Maéva: What face? Ivora: The “She’s hot when she’s clever” face. Maéva: This is my normal face. Ivora: Yes it is. Maéva: Oh, shut up. Ivora: Not a chance. Kerah: Well, the accommodations aren’t great, but it sure is beautiful up here. Ajax: Yeeeeeah it’s pretty romantic. I mean platonic! That sure is one platonic view! Jarek: Ah, you must be the new manservant I ordered. Calais: No, father, it’s me, your biological child. Jarek: I HAVE NO CHILD. Jarek: … Jarek: No wait, yes I do! *pulls out pictures of Sedral's former daughter* Look! I just adopted her. Isn’t she adorable?

No work on my characters (shame on me) but I thought a bit about what kind of abilities Fenra and Rakesh could have. Here's what I have for now
This one still needs some bad side effect but I'm working on it:
Some kind of white magic based aura-shield-thingy. Absorbs physical attacks and counters with magical attack. Deals the same amount of damage the nullified attack would have dealt. User has to manually block incoming attacks since the magic shield only appears around the caster's hand
And here's the other one: Can shapeshift but only partially. For example, temporarily has dragon claws, tail or in rare cases wings. Also allows user to breathe dark fire. Causes some damage to transformed bodypart after returning it to its normal form, sometimes tearing a muscle or other times breaking a bone. The more often its used the more its user will lose their own free will and sense of personality, until they're nothing more than a mindless puppet for the fell dragon
I think I'll give the first one to Rakesh and the second one to Fenra

That's a splendid idea, I should try it too xD Nah, if it's done it's done and I still have stuff to work on myself so it's fine ^^ But hey, I may not have gotten anything done here but I wrote down some stuff for Amatus the normally-nice-but-mean-to-idiots-like-Neason-and-racist-to-foreigners-who-know-magic church member xD ty ^^ also thought a bit about my remaining two Followers and while I haven't written anything down yet I already know that Fenra is pretty good at gathering information, both from Elusians who oppose the Fell Dragon and from people of the other realms. I kinda made an ace who is good at seducing people and I have no idea how that happened. Oh well. Aside from that she's someone who tries to set a good example for her younger siblings but she dislikes how she's the oldest one now (thanks a lot, Ravis) and has to take on the most responsibility as she's actually someone who prefers to go with the flow. She often acts and talks like she takes things too lightly and she's pretty affable with everyone she meets, both friend and enemy and with the latter even when she's about to kill them Hell yea, do it! I love those two idiots and especially how Ajax keeps insisting that their feelings for Kerah are totally undeniably platonic xD Also might look through some older quotes again in case it's relevant for some other dynamics. So far I know that at earlier points Maéva will be nervous around Ivora, especially if the latter is teasing her or commends her for her good work after some missions. She'll have an easier time being around the Fell Child once her feelings for her develop more. Meanwhile Ivora will completely skip the crush stage but since working with our Followers squad is the first time she actual likes and respects some humans and it takes her a while to realize that fell dragons can love humans and it's not just her imagination she will sometimes question if what she's feeling about Maéva is actually love or just a crush or infatuation. She might ask some of the dragon laguz in Elusia to explain the difference to her xD
And some new dumb quotes
Levia: Yeah so they only give you the good shit if you say you're thinking about harming yourself AND others Maska: Ohhh... Levia: You have to say AND, not or. Maska, typing on his phone: AND others, gotcha. Nekosh: LEVIA!
Maska: Sometimes, I don’t realize an event was traumatic until I tell it as a funny story and notice everyone is staring at me weird.
Askaval: The last time I went to an urgent care clinic, I checked off 'excessive crying' on the symptom list, and then the nurse got really confused and said that was meant for babies.
Kerah: Being the little spoon when you’re tall is the best because it's like wearing a backpack that loves you. Kerah: Also I have no other option, because Ajax always wants to be the big spoon to assert dominance.
Levia: The floor is lava! Maéva: *helps Lukov onto the counter* Fiore: *kicks Fáelán off the sofa* Maska: *lays on the floor* Dalvani: ...Are you okay? Maska: No.
Ralston: I believe in you, Askaval! Askaval, to themself: God, I must suck. The nicest thing Ralston can think to say to me is that he doesn’t doubt my existence.
Astor: No offense to Confucius or anything but if I was about to embark on a journey of revenge I would simply not dig two graves Ronera: I think I wouldn't mind to be laid in the same grave as my enemy's if it had to come to that Kerah: Jesus Christ, getting laid in your enemy’s grave? That’s some freak shit but honestly I kinda dig it Maylis: Of course you dig it, that's how you make a grave
Ronera: Fist me. Ajax: I- What the ****..? Ronera: *holds out fist for a fist bump* Ajax: Right. That’s what you- Right, okay.
Hias: *exists* Lukov: Can you not?

All good have fun with the game!! Never hurts to go and enjoy your obsessions, I'm in a similar boat with star rail, that game been eating up lots of my free time. I love that though!! But that sucks it gives a no point of return sometimes it works in games and kther times it like really hurts them. Maybe that's why I adore code vein so much, that while you go through the first time you can return to various check points but for the first story run you can only get certain items then they are gone forever Omg I love that whole thing!!! The angst has me so excited with that feeling of "I am seeing her for the last time" I'm just so excited now to see this into fruition. But yes we can so do thag cause 100% I'm sure some.die hard cultists found a way to do so And it would 100% be deserved and no one would hold it against her
Yea XD, life did a 180 with them
Yea Wolfleda will let up but it will take her a bit of time to get there, so might make for a fun dynamic with her and the other two from elusia maybe. Yea Ralston's got anyone's back when they need it and is ready to help any way he can. But yea just Ralston just going round breaking everyone's beliefs and expectations they had Yep if you think hurting kids is cool you only deserve the worse things. I thibk of mine who also outside of kerah, can't remember if I said or not, hias, vigran, nyeril, yanser and nekosh would also.aid in protecting kids. Harrison will be there so while they are attacking the adults the kids are happily distracted and not witnessing it cause "Hey look I cna become a big doggie!!"
Yea you can't blame.her at all, the only ones are to blame are the parents/joking, how dare they go and expand their family gosh, but the real bad guy in this is the cult in all seriousness cause they prayed on her and those insecurities in a child. But she does get her own sort kf found family amongst the followers and gets a girlfriend
Hmm I feel they might try at the start but perhaps Marceau sees how much they are struggling fighting Lukov so sends them away, and they see the pair heading for Rayén's sibling and they start heading there to be with her for that fight, and they come across Lukov who's dying and pauses to be there before moving on once Lukov passes? 100% deserved! Maska is a sweet baby boy who sadly was forced to grow up way to soon and put through a hell he did not deserve. Glad the parents stood up for their kid. And damn king both is cool and horrible cause while he sucks for approving this training at least he didn't punish Finbar for killing the mentor
I wouldn't doubt it that would cause some kind of issues, Maska after all this alive or not villian or not, should get to move to one of the unknown islands near the lands and just get to live their days out, like Thanos, gets a little farm with crops and animals whatever he desires, but yea Maska is valid in his feelings and I will fight anyone that tries to hurt him or make him feel like shit for them, be it sibling or stranger they better be ready to catch these hands
Yep, and if their parents were horrible like them well guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree you could have turned out different look at your kids, Yep, cause they already see him being late buying a gift for her, so they already get a sense there is more to him then what he has been showing and then Luz just pops up and they jsut witnes him just become incredibly soft, and the way Luz will be coming in there is no way anyone could hate her
Yea XD would been cool to witness, but clans sadly died but I also didn't keep them alive cause it just felt people were losing interest but I'm thinking of maybe making it a story here instead but I can still show the dad if you want cause he would have been a lovely little guy I love the quotes all of them are amazing

She and Askaval will be fun, that's for sure. Especially if the other two Elusians get involved too because back off, that's our wimpy assassin you're messing with. Oh, and do you think she and her family are well-respected in Brodia or are there people who look down on them because her father can't fight? Because anyone who wasn't there when his small group tried to capture Askaval and their siblings also wouldn't know about their ability and would have a hard time believing it if they only heard about it. Some of those proud warriors would definitely think it's embarrassing that he got crippled by a ****ing nine-year-old and that four adults weren't enough to capture three kids. The second, larger group at least has the excuse that Elusia's king and his knights eventually intervened. So yea, some of the other Brodians hearing about this would probably mock him and the others for it. "Man, you couldn't handle three little kids? There were four of you! How did you let three tiny children beat you guys so badly that one of your squad ****ing died and you got crippled?" Only for him or one of the other two survivors to point out that only one kid fought them, trying to explain what the hell they witnessed. Yup, no way in hell this would have looked good for any of them And yea, people like that are the worst. I can't even be mean to kids in videogames, let alone in real life. And nice, Harrison may not attack those jerks but he's being a good doggo keeping those kids distracted
Yup, and it's also the reason why the king insisted she grew up around the higher ranked cultists before allowing her to live with Vardan and his family, only letting her stay with them on some days. Only once Maéva had become a loyal follower of the Fell Dragon was she allowed to live with that family full-time. The king was worried that if he just let her live with them right away Vardan or his wife would have felt bad for her and either reassured her that he own parents didn't abandon her or worse, bring her back home. Not that either of them would have done the latter, as much as they felt bad for her they understood that they couldn't just let her leave. And yup, not all is bad, she has her found family within the Followers (aka the "I hate my sibling/s" club), her foster family and a girlfriend
Hm. Yup, sounds good. He allows it at first but then tells Hias to take on some other enemies after seeing how hard this is for them. Once Marceau and Rayén are done with Lukov they'll chase after Farah so like you said, Hias can go after them then but comes across Lukov. But man, this battle really sucks for both retainers Yea, the king may be awful for allowing this but also smart enough to not punish Finbar for killing the mentor because he can't let him find out that he approved of this. He needs that family's loyalty, after all
I don't know what his ultimate fate will be yet but if he gets to live then he'll probably leave Elusia. Yes, without the Fell Dragon it's a much better place but it will always remind him of his time as a Follower. And some Elusians who had always opposed the cult might still hate him and his family because of their importance in said cult, especially since they still have their powers. As for where he might go, no clue yet. One of the unknown islands sounds good though. Because no way in hell is he going to Lythos, it will also always remind him of his time as a Follower. Same for Firene because many people there worship the Divine Dragon, also the crown prince and his retainers killed Maska's closest friends. He understands why they had to but he just doesn't want anything to do with them. And of course he'd also never go to Brodia, he will always hate and fear that country. That only leaves Solm and I doubt he'd be happy there, it's too much of a change from the cold and snowy country he grew up in. So yea, probably one of the islands as long as it's not too warm there And yup, it's unfortunate for all of them but he's valid in his feelings. Most of his siblings understand why things are complicated and they don't blame him for it. One or two think it's unfair since this was something outside of everyone's control but the others are usually quick to tell them to shut up because fair or not, Maska has every right to resent those who he believes to be responsible for his mentor's cruel treatment of him and it's also not his fault he fell for his lies (like the whole "I'm only punishing you for something they did" thing), especially since his mentor also treated him worse whenever his siblings tried to help him or even just dared to be nice to him. They tried to do so in secret too but somehow Maska's mentor still found out, it's like he had his eyes everywhere. So yea, no matter what his siblings did, his mentor would punish him for being so weak and pathetic that his siblings felt the need to help or even just encourage him. Also, the kid is only sixteen and to make things worse he started this training when he was eight. He went through that hellish training for eight ****ing years and was just a child when it began, how was he supposed to grow up normally?
Yea, but even if their parents were bad too they'd still disown them because "that's not how I raised you, you should treat your kids even worse. Beating them/sending them out on their own to hopefully get killed/hating them so much you are happy only the sibling survived, are you kidding me? You're practically babying them"
Yup xD Out of mine I think Julius won't be surprised at all (some other nameless agarthan spies have probably informed Akakios about that), Tahvo only a little bit and Callan can hardly believe what he's seeing. He only doesn't write it off as an hallucination because he already saw Searc being late to get a gift for his sister xD And yea, no one can hate Luz. My Deer will deal with anyone who's mean to her, same thing goes for my other characters once they see her at the Lantern Festival
Oh yes, please show him anyway! I wanna know what kind of cat this guy is!

And some more quotes
Maska: I can't believe you've done this..... Lukov: I'm sorry I didn't know-! Maska, on the verge of tears: YOU CAN'T JUST BUY ME A GIFT OUT OF NOWHERE NOW I FEEL LIKE A HUGE ASSHOLE! Fenra: I committed all 7 deadly sins in 30 minutes. Levia: Wow, I've gotta hear this. Fenra: I was angry and envious of my neighbor so I lazily seduced his wife and ate all his groceries and didn't share. Levia: You forgot pride. Fenra: No, I'm pretty proud of this. Rayén: *banging a pen on the table out of frustration* Ronera: Stop that. How would YOU feel if I banged you on the table? Rayén: I— Rayén: I don’t know the correct answer to that question. Ajax: I am quite oblivious when it comes to people showing interest in me. They could smack me on the head and I wouldn't notice. Kerah: *smacks Ajax on the back of the head* Ajax: Ow! What was that for? Kerah: *long suffering sigh* Maylis: Be careful! Ronera, looking back while flying: What? Ronera: *flies into wall* Kerah: You shouldn't be using a straw. Calais: I know, I know, it's bad for the environment and stuff. Kerah: Yeah, but I mean... it's a weird way to eat spaghetti. Fáelán: The only thing keeping me from running away and hiding from society for the rest of my life is spite. I could disappear forever, but there are some bitches whose downfalls I have yet to witness, and I wanna be around when that happens.

For sure!! I would say yea they were well respected but after the whole incident they post a lot, and the teasing/jabs never helped any, and with her father how crippled she saw how much it affected him. So she more drive to go after and reveal the truth, wanting her fathers name restored and get her family their honor back(okay zuko, I've been rewatching the series and God that just made me think of him) Not at all, but same I can't be mean to kids in games, unless like they actually are like the worst, but even then I try pick tamer options then just being a complete pick
Damn, **** the king. He deserves everything that happens to him and his cult. Sir be ready for your life to go up in flames. But yea she got some good stuff out of it which os good, just took a while for her to get it but she did finally get good things out of the cult, though I suppose that's just another stage of being in a cult that you start gaining things/finding good things out of being in it
It really does, but also strengthens the bonds between the trio, and makes them closer, not vigran and zinara closer, but still closer So true, so while it wasn't entirely him being a good guy but still he at least let's them think he's against what happened just to keep them loyal
Don't blame him, no where really is a place he could stay at of the established countries/kingdoms as to some extent there's some kind of religion and then solm yea there is such a big difference going from a snowy landscape to scorching deserts, but probably also doenst help that people who also killed his friends are present there, but either way he better get good things even if its in the afterlife I get where those ones are coming from, cause it truly was out of control of what anyone could do, as they all are kids, and parents didn't know, so its not like they could do anything, and with different moms it's not like they probably could have gone to one of them to get help, especially that third wife, but it's good the ones that understand are quick to tell them to shut up. But yea no real way to grow up normally with that type of trauma, honestly I'm kinda thinking if this just becomes between the two of us for the rp, I might make the twins seperate rings and have searc be on the cult side to be weirded by Maska just cause these two probably would get along
"You still put a roof over their head a lot longer then you should have, gosh haven't you heard of that myth? They left their baby in the countryside to die over a prophecy, and you just send them into the woods as a child where they have an easier chance to survive, unbelievable"
Neason would expect it obviously, Ciarra would be incredibly surprised as she still can't believe searc was late and is under the belief they all were just early meeting up to leave, but yea how she is coming in is doing the little kid idea of hiding g where if she can't see you you can't see her, and then she tries to scare searc and neason(also happily clinging to searcs leg afterwards and bombarding the group with questions, ignores neason asking for a hug in favor of being picked up by searc, cause while she loves both a lot it's very clear she has a favorite brother and it isn't neason), but yea no one cna hate her, ciarra would join in defending her, but yea I'm sure that I could win everyone over come the lantern festival
Bet! Let me get the picture and his brief personality I had written

Oof, yea, that's gotta suck. Understandable she wants to do that. And ugh, thanks for reminding me that I still have to watch Avatar someday. One series I never watched as a kid but I just keep hearing great things about it, am familiar with a few memes and watched a few scenes on youtube. So yea, I definitely need to find the time to watch the whole thing (or should I skip The Great Divide?) because it just sounds so amazing. Man, really regret having missed out on this for so long. Anyway, Wolfleda wanting to restore her family's honor. Yup, this will be fun. I wanna see her utter bafflement and disappointment when she finds out the one who crippled her father is such a crybaby xD Or is she gonna think she got the wrong person? Yea, if the kid is a piece of shit I also can pick some of the not so nice options but I still try to not be a complete jerk, I'd feel bad right away if I did that
Ohoho, I think we can make the king even worse. We can't kill him off too soon though, he's gonna live longer than his game counterpart. Hehehe.. how do you think is he gonna react when one of his kids leaves to join forces with Ralston's squad? I was thinking that he could send his assassin after them upon realizing that his heir is gonna betray him. Not only because his kid deserves to die for their betrayal but also to force Askaval to serve him again. Because with the heir out of the way Askaval would have to be loyal to the king again. Well, the assassin does follow the trio and either before or after they join up with Ralston and the others he'll try to make his move but Askaval, a trained assassin themself and also this guy's former apprentice, notices that someone is sneaking around and confronts him before he can get too close to where ever the group is staying at the moment. So yea, I guess Askaval will have to fight and kill their former mentor. Also not a super easy battle because it's just the two of them so Askaval won't be able to use their ability. But since they already had natural talent and their mentor also trained them well they're still able to defeat him though it's gonna be a pretty close match, their mentor is pretty skilled himself after all and has more experience And yea, there might have been good things too but like you said, it's also kinda part of being in a cult. It definitely makes her even more loyal to them. While she genuinely wants to serve the Fell Dragon, like everyone else, she also does all those things for the people she cares about. And the good guys killing her father figure, Lukov's sister and later Fiore is only gonna make things worse and even when she finds out that her family never intentionally abandoned her it won't change a thing, she's not gonna join the good guys, instead she wishes her family would also turn their backs on the Divine Dragon and join the Followers
Yup, no one can compare to those two xD But yea, it definitely makes them closer. A pretty messed up bonding exercise but hey, it works Dude knows what he has to do and say to get what he wants but also hide it from those whose loyalty he needs. Yup, not a good person but a smart one
The kid will hopefully get good things eventually. He deserves it. Might even learn to trust his siblings again after a few years, at least the few ones who get to live. Or meet some others he can befriend. Still needs to be somewhere away from the mainland though as none of the realms are good places for him Yup, they kinda do have a point but they still need to accept it. There wasn't really much or anything that could have been done in that kind of situation, the king knew how to keep it from his parents (if anything he'd only let the third wife know as she despises the kids that aren't hers so she'd never say anything to Finbar, Aldara or even Cylia who, while not Maska's mother, still likes those kids well enough to not allow such awful treatment) and also made sure to give Maska's mentor more authority than him and his siblings, making it impossible for them to do anything about him and letting them think they'd only make things worse if they told their parents. And funny you say that, I've been thinking about that too today xD Searc and Maska getting along, I mean. And true, it might be possible if it really is just the two of us. We'd need to make more emblems then and sure, Searc and Neason could be separate rings then. Gotta change the mechanics a bit though so emblems summoned by the Fell Child can also have conversations with whoever they're paired with. Yes, the emblems will still have to lend their powers to the baddies, even if they don't want to, but it would be cool to see how they'd interact, at least in some cases
Man, those crappy parents really don't know anything. How could they make such simple and obvious mistakes? Their own parents will double die from shame
Neason not being the favorite for once xD But then again I doubt he enjoys being his father's favorite. Still, it's cute how Luz just clearly favors Searc. Also, good thing the beastkin aren't allowed to transform on Cherith land, Rekka and Tahvo would not be safe. Even if she's curious about their ears and tails it's still not that bad, at least compared to how she'd react to seeing their beast forms xD
Alright! ^^ and aww, there's a picture of him too?

Yea avatar was my childhood, it's on Netflix if you have that, but I don't recommend the two live action versions, we...we don't talk about those(especially the movie one, I heard a few good things about the TV series version like they got the VA of cabbage man to play him in thr live action version), but yea it was a series that me and my brother could just get along about and bond over so it has a fond place in my heart. But yea she is going to be determined to reestablish her family's honor and then to find this crybaby she is truly going to think it was one of the other kids cause there's no way someone this pathetic was behind it So true, doesnt help when npcs treat you badly for treating the kid bad, but like come on I choose a decent option where I wasn't overly mean Oooo yes!!!! I love it battle of two assassins, and poor Askaval just can't have anything nice but I suppose when you join a cult and follow kingdom that embraces said cult you got to tease expect some kind of harsh retaliation if you leave or switch sides Yea it's just how a cult keeps members happy, but don't blame her stances either even after learning the truth, but yea she won't get that either cause her family know the truth of the fell dragon and know he's bad and the what not but also even if they did they would probably upset their people and could risk a coup It truly does, not healthy thing to be what you bond over, but I mean it strengthens their found family bond and helps them heal from the deaths of their siblings cause "Hey we still got each other" but yea they probably need therapy Indeed a smart but horrible man, just wow guy knows how to keep people in line Good for him,yea and we did establish some islands have life on them like the island Harrison came from, so he could make new friends if not being languz but people that just left mainland for a different kind of life on the island(such as wanting to get away from the whole fell and divine dragon religions) Yea I won't be sad if third wife is for some reason just mysteriously disappeared one day and then is found in a dumpster, like no officer I wasn't anywhere near her on the 4th street next to the bar where they sell delicious pancakes if you know the right bartender, and I didn't see her go into a tailor shop because her dress was torn and needed to be fixed, like nope sorry I was five blocks away playing poker with my friends Dave and Steve but don't ask them about thay night cause they were really drunk and probably won't remember it, but mentor deserved to die, I'm sure it's possible, could be explained that ivora dabbled with her powers for a bit and it could be a system that using her powers make them talk buy it's like a "you don't speak unless i(the wearer) directly address you by name and give you permission to answer" type thing so that way we still can have them act as they are supposed to but also open the window to let the followers be able to bond with the emblems they got I know right, they had one job and they failed so horribly Yea XD and naw neason hate sbeing the favorite maybe when he was really young and before he learned what was going on with his brother he loved being the favorite, I mean like yea a 2-5 would adore that kind of attention in any situation cause you just get all that love type feeling and whatever, but yea he doesn't mind the clear favoritism of their little sister, for their beast forms she would probably get scared of them at first but Rekka she would warm up to that beast form easier cause just a giant fox, tahvos would take her time just due to how drastic it looks but ultimately she would grow to love it as well after seeing it enough Ye I got him from this thread in the art forum where they drew cats for people to adopt His personality was: Diamondseed is a rather fun loving tom, choosing to slack of then take any responsibilities. He at first was horrified at the prospect of being a father and hadn't truly wanted to be at the birth, but upon seeing the four little ones, he became determined to better himself and be someone they could be proud to call their father. He still hasn't fully embraced any responsibilities as he should have, but he at least is using that time to play and be around his kits. He is a fierce warrior in battle, though he has held back nowadays with a family to return to.

Yea, I heard pretty much no one likes the movie and I'll definitely stay away from it. The TV series version doesn't seem all that well liked either and since I'm not a fan of live action remakes anyway I'm not gonna bother with it. So original it is once I have the time. And nice, having something like that to bond over. I think for my brother and me it was Pokémon, both the games and the anime. The coolest thing he did was trading me his level 80 Dragonite so I could beat Red since my team wasn't strong enough back when we played Gold and Silver xD Can't blame her, no one in their right mind would think someone like that could have beaten four powerful warriors on their own, and definitely not at such a young age. Nope, must have been their brother or sister. She'd only believe it when she sees it for herself, either when Askaval is still on the enemy side or when they've joined Ralston's squad already
Yea, that's just how it is. No one can just leave the cult and get away with it, not even the king's own kids. And the easiest and quickest way to deal with them is to send his best (well, I guess second best at this point) assassin after his heir and their retainers. Unfortunately for him Askaval shows that they have surpassed their mentor so now those traitors still get to live and the king is without any good assassins, one being dead and the other still sticking with his kid. But yea, definitely sucks for Askaval, they got along well with their mentor and will hate having to fight him. Not to mention how scary that fight will be for the poor thing, their former mentor is definitely one of the most dangerous enemies at this point Yup, Firene's royals would never join the Fell Followers, they're loyal to the Divine Dragon. And yea, even if they wanted to they couldn't because of their people. So yea, either way Maéva won't get her wish, her family won't join her side and even if they wanted to they can't
I think by the end of it everyone needs therapy. But yea, those three will have that to bond over. While it's a bit different for each of them they still understand what the other two are going through. Definitely looking forward to those battles where those three have to kill their siblings (or have the others do it, in Lukov's case) I wonder what kind of father he is and how he raised his kids. Yes, he'll want them dead if they betray him, but what's he like when they're loyal to him?
Definitely possible that some humans left the mainland and now live on one or some of those islands or in some cases even live on one with a laguz tribe (if both sides are tolerant of the other). So yea, if Maska gets to live he can move to one of those Yea, no idea how she got there, I totally have an alibi and so do all of the other suspects. Same with the crappy mentor, no clue how that happened. And yea, that would work. Ivora likes to experiment and invent new spells anyway so it's not impossible that she also tried to work on her powers like that too. Having the emblems be able to speak but only if they're allowed too sounds good, that way we can have them bond with the Followers, or at least as much as they are willing too. I bet some will be ordered to shut up because they keep being sassy or otherwise disrespectful xD Oh, and if this ends up being an rp with just the two of us we'd also have to decide who makes which remaining royal and retainers. If the others want to join, awesome. But if not, we need to figure that out. Since I already have the Fell Child and also those kids with the crazy powers it's only fair that you get to make someone important in Elusia too. So I guess I could make the royal for Brodia and you the one for Elusia. If you want to, of course. And we need a second retainer for Vigran. Do you want to make that one? Also, either we need two more retainers in Elusia (and another royal in addition to the one we already need) or we say there's only one and Korith is their second retainer. Since that's your crazy dragon it's all up to you. Of course, all this only applies if this really is a 1x1 rp, otherwise we can ignore this
Unbelievable. You'd think it's impossible to mess up being a shitty parent
Yea, at 2-5 I think anyone would like that kind of attention. But yea, after seeing how Desai treats Searc it's just different. And aww, Luz being a bit scared at first. Can't blame her though, especially with how weird the wolfskin look. And yup, giant fox is easier to warm up to. Same thing goes for the taguel, I guess. Giant and kinda weird looking rabbits. Néo will know this all too well once Luz sees him at the Lantern Festival xD
Aww, I love him. Still needing to work a bit on himself but doing his best to be a good father to the kits. Yup, I think they'd love him. Some of them might see that he's not perfect but they'd still want no one else as their father and also that other parents have flaws too

Yea the movie suckss, and TV version sucks to cause they changed a lot of core aspects about characters and even about the fire benders, but yeawe also bonded over pokemon, can't remember which game but he was further ahead in it then me and he traded me an eevee cause I was no where near the route and he knew it was my favorite Yea makes sense, but poor Askaval having this girl going around harassing them over that traumatic incident and demanding a fight and the such, but yea she realizes it soon enough after seeing the ability that it was in fact this wimp
Mhm no exceptions will be made in our family friendly cult, hell yea good on askaval for surpassing his mentor, but yea going to suck though having to do it, especially with how scary going against a skilled assassin would be Yea an unobtainable wish sadly
Oh 100% no one will be normal after all of this, except maybe Harrison but that boy is oblivious to a lot of things so he can be a therapy dog, yea still going to be fun to rp out regardless Just makes me think just Ozai type of father, where he is still rather cruel but treats you decent if he thinks you are of use but isn't afraid to just outcast you if you slip up
Sounds good!! I'm sure there is an island where they do get along especially if it'd people from solm ot firene where they do get along with them quite well Yea most have been some strange freak accident, that only seems to happen to absolutely horrible people, really strange, maybe karma truly exists and goes after people, sounds good then she is able to figure out a way to get them to speak but it's only when spoken too otherwise yea they would probably tun their mouths Yea doesn't hurt to plan if it's jsut a 1x1 so that way we at least have things figured out comes launch time for the rp, but yea thay works out I can do the elusia royal and take the last retainer for solm and you can take brodia royal, and I can make korith be the retainer for elusia royal or we could do a second royal and I can still make another retainer all together for the elusia hier royal, but yea hopefully others join but I'm fine if it becomes a 1x1 but regardless like I said at the start of this paragraph I think never hurts to have it planned put as a plan b type thing should it be just us, we'll also need to plan further emblems as well then
I can't believe how bad I failed them I should have been cruelest to them
Mhm! But yea I thibk it was like around 6/7 neason witnessed first hand what searc gets put through and just grew to hate the favoritism, but yea Luz probably would grow to love the beastkin though her favorite would be the tangled
Indeed was going to be a nice character arc for him was him slowly growing to gain a responsibile side

Yea, I've read some rants about it and most agree that those changes were neither good nor necessary. So yea, I'm not gonna touch the TV version either. And aww, that was nice of him. And can't blame ya, Eevee is great. Got myself a pretty big Eevee plushy last Friday. I didn't even plan on getting anything more than the new album of my favorite band but when I walked past the aisle with the game merchandise I spotted that big Eevee and just had to buy it. I definitely stood out a little on my way home, carrying that thing around xD Yup, Askaval will have a hard time dealing with her. She's the daughter of one of those scary Brodians, keeps reminding them of that traumatic incident and keeps demanding a fight. Someone really needs to keep her away from them. Can't the royal or the other retainer just distract her like "Wait! What's that? I think it's your honor!" "WHERE?"
Yup, it's great and all that they win but it's still a tough and scary battle and Askaval will definitely feel bad about having to kill him
Yea, Harrison can be everyone's therapy dog along with Sommie. The rest of the squad though? Yup, most of them will get at least some form of trauma Makes sense and would definitely work with what we've already established about our Elusian king. Man, his kids sure are nuts to go against him
I'm sure for that we can either pick something near Firene or Solm or some of those people chose an island that's a bit more north. Either way, laguz and humans will get along there, just like in those two countries. Sure, they get along in Brodia too but it seems like the bird laguz still like to keep their distance from most humans Yup, this kind of stuff just happens. Bad karma and all that. Truly horrifying but they deserved it, nothing suspicious about it at all. And okay, we'll do that then. Emblems only get to speak with permission, otherwise they're either silent or only spew some cultist garbage in battle on rare occasions I'm fine with either option too (two royals in Elusia or Korith becoming the first one's retainer) so I guess we'll just wait and see for now? And same, having others join would be nice but I also don't mind it being a 1x1 thing. Besides, we have no time limit. Like we suggested once, we can run this parallel to our other rp if we want to but even then we're in no hurry, especially since we still need to finish our characters, come up with personal skills for everyone and finish our emblem skills too. But yea, if it does become a 1x1 rp we need six more emblems (three from each of us) and we can start thinking about who they will be. Also, I have some ideas for the Brodian royal (if I get to play that one) and might start writing up her form. If someone else comes along and wants the royal though I just give that character a different role, maybe make her the second royal instead. For names, I'm currently stuck between Tiyani, Srena, Anaid, Aryuna and Saikhan
Yea, those parents must have done something wrong. "Did I not raise you badly enough? Was there any time when I went easy on you? Should I have been more harsh?"
Understandable. It would be different if he was anything like Rossi. I bet she wouldn't give a shit if she was the favorite and saw how her father treats Searc. So yea, good thing Neason is a good person. An idiot but a loveable idiot. And yea, Néo will have to put up with being this kid's favorite beastkin (or one of her favorites if Megumi isn't a jerk to her for some reason) and he's gonna have a hard time pretending he hates it
Yea, I like him even more now. And it would not have been an easy task for him, those kits can be a handful xD
Sounds good to me! So you'd get to play the Fell Dragon and I'd get the Divine Dragon. Though we could still discuss a few things about them beforehand, just so we know what we want them to be like
