Thinking of doing a clan that's located in a Tundra ish biome, mainly just cold 90% of the year and how the clan adapts to it. I imagine they live in a tunnel system that's insulated by the snow.
Cats of this clan would have denser, longer fur. Those who don't are singled out and seen as having descent from kittypets, though obviously not true. Pelts that blend in with the snow or with their tunnels would make sense, mainly to act as camouflage. I imagine those with brighter color pelts would find this area harsh to live in.
I imagine the clan is still rather young, a few generations old. Most having been loners or rogues in twoleg place
