Hi everyone! I've been thinking of this for a little while, and I wanted to start a low-maintenance Clan that caters to roleplayers of any skill level and members of the forum that don't necessarily have a lot of time on their paws, but still want to roleplay.
Here is what I have so far:
STONECLAN
Leader: Strikestar. Male. A little unpredictable, but loving and fatherly. Yellow-green eyes and a black freckle on his nose. Fluffy gray tabby.
Deputy: Shiverpelt. Male. Timid and cautious. Green eyes. Mostly black tuxedo tom with a notably shorter pelt than the rest of the clan.
StoneClan resides in a camp in the mountains, sheltered by a large cliff on one side of the camp. It often snows, however there are nice days in which the ground is free of snow, revealing a sandy-like surface underneath and small patches of grass here and there.
Skystone is the meeting place.
Dens are often formed of rocky caves and crevices in the camp area. The warriors’ den is a large cave. The apprentice’s den is, naturally, a smaller cave. The nursery is a cozy, even smaller crevice in the rocks. The medicine den has a similar build to the nursery, with a tiny opening in the roof that often drips water into the den, forming a small puddle convenient for hydration. The leader’s den is in a small cave just below the Skystone.
StoneClan camp’s clearing stretches for several tail-lengths before coming to an evergreen forest. The forest grows denser as a cat ventures deeper, littered with bushes and, in some areas, fields of tall dead grass that grow green and flowery again as the weather becomes fairer. Some areas have large rocks which a cat can perch upon to survey the territory. Another notable feature of the area is the common occurrence of auroras in the sky, and exceptionally bright stars. It is said that the auroras bring good tidings from StarClan.
Commonly caught prey includes: Rabbits, small birds, birds of prey, weasels, mice, squirrels, and in some areas, fish.
Possible threats include: Bears, foxes, wolves, birds of prey, snowstorms. StoneClan cats are known to be incredible climbers. Most have thick coats to protect against the harsh winters. As a result of the cold, prey lasts much longer than it normally might, acting as a preservative.
So! Is anyone interested, and do you have any ideas to share? I think the Clan will start off with the recovery of a harsh snowstorm, just to get things rolling.
