Thornhawk is a dark brown tom with black mackeral spots and small black stripes. He has deep green eyes, which make him look a bit intimidating. He is a large tom with a striped tail, and scars along his haunches and his face. He has long whiskers, and a mesmerizing pelt, followed by a long bushy tail.
Thornhawk is a strong, independent tom who acts as if he feels no emotions. He is often regarded as a dark and brooding tom, and a bit of an outcast amongst the clan. He seems to have no second thoughts when it comes to both his words and his actions, and he often speaks his mind without thinking of any consequences or repercussions. He often spends his time hunting alone, though this helps him maintain his intense focus. He has an unsettling aura in which one does not want to stay around for long.

Ever since the brooding tom's family had passed away, he had never been the same. He had become stone cold, and showed no emotions. However, the tom brightened up a bit after meeting the most beautiful she-cat he had ever laid his eyes upon. This she-cat later became his mate, Goldenleaf, and the two had three kits together, though two died due to an illness which plagued them. However, one of their kits survived and grew to be their only hope.
