Does anyone else think that Tigerheart has become obsessed with Dovewing by this point? Even long after they've broken up he still seems to be pining after her. He even asks Alderpaw about her at one point in TAS and is clearly jealous when he sees her talking to Bumblestripe.
What do you guys think? Do you think Tigerheart has become obsessed with Dovewing, and if he is, do you think he'll become like Ashfur or at least Spottedleaf?

I hope that Tigerheart doesn't become a yandere, omg. I still ship Dovewing and Tigerheart, pls don't hurt me.
Tigerheart is different. Loyalty is probably his strong point now. And if his loyal character was destroyed because of his past-or-still feelings for Dovewing get in the way, I will cry.

I hope he won't become Ashfur 2.0. He does seem to act bitter at some points, when he said "She chose her Clan over me" to Ivypool in TLH.

I doubt that. If he was he would have done it a long time ago when she was still with Bumblestripe. It makes sense for him to be jealous. They never had a proper talk. Dovewing just ignored him instead of talking with him and giving an actual well spoken explanation of why she wasn't going to be with him. She never really explained herself or even offered friendship. Something that Tigerheart himself spoke of wanting at least that back in the Forgotten Warrior before he asked for them to get back together.
Then she seems shocked that he growls at her. Why wouldn't he? She's pretty much ignored him and they've never had a real talk about why they ended their relationship. Tigerheart never even got to plead his case she just up and ignored him.
And even if he does know that her and Bumblestripe are over, the fact that she at least is still on friendly terms with Bumblestripe must hurt considering she wouldn't even let them be friends.
Obsession maybe but that doesn't automaticaly mean he'll be like Ashfur. It's obvious he hasn't found anyone who brings out the same feelings he had with Dovewing. And with the whole CLan rebelling I doubt he holds any love for any she-cat who blatantly rebelled against his father.

I kind of hope he becomes a more well-written version of Ashfur and does something extreme, like kidnap Dovewing or start killing the single toms off in the Clan, one by one, to keep her from taking any as her mate. With Darktail around, it'd be easy to pin it on him.

No. I don't think it's that extreme. From what I can gather, Dovewing still likes him too. She was shown being excited to see him at one point of the book, so there must be something going on.
