Background: It has been around eight years since the infection first hit the city, almost 90% of the population catching it in the following months and years and joining the ranks of infected. During this time, groups rose and fell, changing the landscape of the city. Currently three of the oldest groups make up the ruling powers of the city, the Twinmouth Blockade, the Sunmart Scavengers, and Ivy Gates Apartments. Will you survive this world or fall like many before? Locations (Open to More): Twinmouth Blockade: Located just outside the city there are two rivers that overlap, just between them is a large military camp. It is surrounded by high walls and appears to have small boats tied in the water as a form of transportation. Sun Mart: Part of an old grocery store chain, many are in ruin as of late. The only one kept up is the headquarters for the Scavengers. It is located towards the center of town, using ruined cars as the borders. It is a well known trading hub. Ivy Gates Apartments: A small grouping of apartment buildings, close enough for the residents to make makeshift bridges between them. There are also makeshift guard towers atop the buildings. Subway System: Abandoned following the infection, may use it as travel to avoid the hoards above. However, while the common zombie is not common here, there are different threats that lurk. Riverview Medical Center: An old hospital located on one of the rivers, it is a fairly dangerous spot due to large amounts of infected congregating around it. Despite this, its a fairly sought after area due to its medical supplies. Soundscape Gardens: An old park named after the interacted sound-making statues scattered around it, its usually used due to how far the sound of certain statues travel. Pridelands Sanctuary: A fairly large zoo to the south of the city. It was named so due to its first animals being lions. It is currently abandoned, though some of the animals roam the area around it. Twinmouth Blockade Locations: Sleeping Quarters: A small grouping of tents along the eastern wall, families are grouped into a single tent each while those without families are paired with several other single people into a tent. Mess Hall: The central most part of the camp, it is used for eating, meeting, and to help teach children in the camp. Docks: Located on either side of the camp, right on the rivers. There are small boats with motors located there, making it easy for soldiers to head out to look for supplies or handle infected. Sergeant's Quarters: Located at the back of the camp in a small building. It is where the Sergeant lives and conducts private meetings. Gardens: A small plot of land just outside camp where the civilians work to grow food. It is usually guarded to keep them safe. Armory: Located to the right of the mess hall, it is where most of the weapons are kept. It is also where items to repair weapons are kept, along with items to make rudimentary bullets. Ranks: Sergeant (Only 1):Jackson Smith | 53 | Male / Straight Jackson is a tall, pale skinned man who stands at about 6'3" with blonde hair and blue eyes. Jackson takes things a bit too seriously. He likes to make sure that everybody is in order and safe. Jackson Smith was a normal military man when the apocalypse started. He was married and had three kids while two died along with his wife. She is rather quick to anger if annoyed while working, though only due to how hard she focuses. She was born in the city, and had planned to leave the military right before the infection hit. A young girl at 4'2. She like her mother has ginger hair that she likes to keep in two braids. She has hazel eyes. A bubbly girl, she is too curious for her own good, and tends to be oblivious to any danger she is in. She trusts to easily for her own good, and is fairly naive for her age. Her mother died when she was 5, and with her father being unknown, the will was respected and she was sent to her uncle. Sunmart Scavengers Locations: The Wall: A border made from ruined cars, the fights of the Scavengers usually patrol this area. Storage Room: Where most of the group's supplies are kept. It is also where a majority of its members sleep, small mattresses spread out in a more open section of the room. Trading Floor: The main front section of the base, there are small stands set up for trading. People outside the group can rent out a spot here for around 3 days ration for a week. Crafter's Spot: A small former gas station that had been part of the former store. The building is now used for people to craft items to sell to people coming to trade. Manager's Office: A small room where the former manager of the store worked. It is now used to hold the more high value items the group may come across. Ranks: Leader:Dante Miller | 35 | Bisexual Cis Man Dante stands at around 6'2 and has a lean build. He has light brown hair and hazel colored eyes. Dante is a kind and honest man who will do whatever it takes to keep his people safe. Before the infection, he was a college student working part time as he pursued his law degree. The younger twin, and originally born male, but hitting middle school, they came out as non binary. Concetta is a short woman, around 5'0, with long brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has a small mole under her left eye. She finds joy in helping the younger people of the group, having wanted to he a teacher as a child. She was born in Italy and came to the States while on vacation. It was during this time that the infection hit, trapping her. She isn't a strong English speaker, but has improved greatly over the years. (Moonclaw400)
Nikoli Fargust | 39 | Male/Demisexual A man at 5'10 with already greying hair from stress, he has dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep he gets. He has green eyes, with black framed glasses. A workaholic man. He thrives to make sure his work and any other work that needs to be done is completed. He is family oriented and when it needs to, would put his family first above all else. Married to his childhood sweet heart Sapphire, the pair had been best friends since they were 6, so it was no surprise to anyone when this happened. The day their kids where born was one of the happiest days of his life. His wife had gotten turned recently, and he had to be the one to kill her, to prevent Jaime from getting attacked. He has not been able to get over this yet, and is only able to keep moving to ensure his kids can keep living in this world. (Ember34)

Emilie Fargust | 19 | Female/Heterosexual Emilie is a tall girl at 5'7, she git her father's green eyes, though she is blind in her right eye, that she uses an eyepatch to hide. She has her nother's black hair. An ambitious person, she thrived to be the best at everything. Often working to outshine her peers in anyway she could. She does react quickly, often facing things with her fists then her words. She was the first one that Jaime came out to, and she often was the one to defend Jaime from bullying. Ivy Gates Apartments Locations: Ground Floor: Not used due to how easily it is for infected to enter this area. The stairs leading up have also been destroyed. People living here use the emergency stairs if they need to get to the ground floor. Second & Third Floors: Mainly used as housing, these areas are used due to how easily it is to get to the ground floor and leave. This area is also where the bridges are built, attaching to the other two buildings. Fourth and Fifth Floors: Used to store supplies. If need be, several of these floors may be used to house newcomers to quarantine them. Roof: The roof area has been made into a makeshift gardening area also with water collection. There is one guard tower on each roof, having guards on each. Ranks: Leader:
Lázaro Molina | 28 | Gay trans man Lázaro is a short man, around 5'6, with messy black hair tied back into a bun and dark brown eyes. He is usually seen is bulky clothes to help prevent bites. He's a bit of a jokester for the most part, trying to make those around him laugh. However, he is quickly able to drop this should the situation call for him being serious. He was raised by his grandmother Araceli. He had been a college student when the infection hit, and worked to assist the older residents in the apartments. Kaeya Oshiro | 27 | Female/Pansexual A small woman at 5'3 with mouse blonde hair that she usually dyes. She has hazel eyes and a fair skin tone. A loving woman, she tends to see the good in everyone and wants to protect those that cant protect themselves. She loves her younger siblings, and always tended to look out for them, especially Naji. She loves to be there as a listening ear for people to vent to, not liking the idea of them holding it in. She is the first born of her siblings, and loved whenever she had a new one come into the picture. When the abuse started, she often was the one to help Naji take care of his injuries. She wished she could have taken Naji with her when she moved out. She has no clue if any of her family is alive, but often prays that they are. (Ember34) Guards:

He didn't quite understand what was happening, but knew he had to hide. When he was 15, his sister, Sandra, died when she was 8. He avoids talking about his feelings or when things are bothering him, to avoid being a burden, but there is nothing he wouldn't do for the people he loves, willing to sacrifice anything, even his own happiness. The second born of his family, he was never accosted when he came out about his sexuality, often abused by his father, and often would get kicked out from the house for various periods of time. As a result he developed D.I.D., among a few other mental health disorders to cope with everything. He was kicked out when he was 18. He used to go to therapy for his disorder. He has no clue if anyone in his family made it. (Ember34)
Damian Rochevès | 25 | Male/Bisexual A lean man at 5'9. He has has sandy ginger air, with stubble on his face. He has grey eyes. He wears a black mask that resembles a fox, with red markings. A quiet man, that prefers being on his own then with company. He struggles to make and maintain relationships, and tends to run away when he feels hes getting to close to someone. He was never close to his family growing up, tending to keep to himself. He ran away at 15 and never went back. So when his sister died, he was surprised to find that she left Marva to be in his care in her will. He tried his best to care for her, but he never knew what to do to care for a child. When the outbreak hit, he began to survive purely on the instinct to keep Marva safe, which caused a lot of close calls. To the point he felt like he had no choice but to part ways with Marva. He abandoned Marva at Twinmouth Blockade, and has not bothered contacting her. (Ember34)

Elizabeth was in the mess hall, humming as she worked on a walkie talkie. Some of the privates had been stupid and broken their one item for communication. She groaned"needs new wiring..what did they do to these things?"she murmured
Nestor was laying on his mattress in the storage room, quietly reading a book. He was trying to rest after delivering a few items to Ivy Gates.
Lázaro was helping bring the supplies upstairs. He had made an order for new books for the teachers, along with a few luxuries. They had been doing well on the food front, but knew they needed more than basic supplies to be happy.
Araceli was quietly sewing in her apartment, humming softly to herself as she set her things aside. She rose to her feet, deciding to make some food to share with the other people.

Dante walks out of his office and stretches his limbs. He had been reading over some papers but had ended up taking a nap. Now, he wanted to move around and see what the others are up too.
Tyson notices Lázaro bringing in some stuff and walks over to him. "Need some help?" He questioned.

Maxwell was doing some training out by the sleeping quarters, doing some stretches and running laps.
Concetta entered the storage room, carrying a few repaired clothes. She set then on a self, softly humming to herself.
Araceli quietly left her room, planning on heading to the roof to fetch a few ingredients. Her eyes landed on Alex"Mijo, would you mind helping me?"she asked softly

Dante perks up and waves at Nestor. "How are ya kid?" He asked. No matter what he would always cause the teenagers kids.
Tyson makes his way over to the stairs and picks up the box. He precedes to go back the way he came to meet back up with Lázaro. "Where shall I take this?"

A small woman at 5'3 with mouse blonde hair that she usually dyes. She has hazel eyes and a fair skin tone. A loving woman, she tends to see the good in everyone and wants to protect those that cant protect themselves. She loves her younger siblings, and always tended to look out for them, especially Naji. She loves to be there as a listening ear for people to vent to, not liking the idea of them holding it in. She is the first born of her siblings, and loved whenever she had a new one come into the picture. When the abuse started, she often was the one to help Naji take care of his injuries. She wished she could have taken Naji with her when she moved out. She has no clue if any of her family is alive, but often prays that they are.

The younger twin, and originally born male, but hitting middle school, they came out as non binary. On a scavenging mission with their mom, she git bit, but hadn't noticed till she had turned.They were saved by Nikoli.

An ambitious person, she thrived to be the best at everything. Often working to outshine her peers in anyway she could. She does react quickly, often facing things with her fists then her words. She was the first one that Jaime came out to, and she often was the one to defend Jaime from bullying. She has grown to resent both Nikoli and Jamie since her mother's death.

Married to his childhood sweet heart Sapphire, the pair had been best friends since they were 6, so it was no surprise to anyone when this happened. The day their kids where born was one of the happiest days of his life. His wife had gotten turned recently, and he had to be the one to kill her, to prevent Jaime from getting attacked. He has not been able to get over this yet, and is only able to keep moving to ensure his kids can keep living in this world.

He is adventurous and thrives being on his own, having developed survival skills before the outbreak. He avoids talking about his feelings or when things are bothering him, to avoid being a burden, but there is nothing he wouldn't do for the people he loves, willing to sacrifice anything, even his own happiness. The second born of his family, he was never accosted when he came out about his sexuality, often abused by his father, and often would get kicked out from the house for various periods of time. As a result he developed D.I.D., among a few other mental health disorders to cope with everything. He was kicked out when he was 18. He used to go to therapy for his disorder. He has no clue if anyone in his family made it.

A quiet man, that prefers being on his own then with company. He struggles to make and maintain relationships, and tends to run away when he feels hes getting to close to someone. He was never close to his family growing up, tending to keep to himself. He ran away at 15 and never went back. So when his sister died, he was surprised to find that she left Marva to be in his care in her will. He tried his best to care for her, but he never knew what to do to care for a child. When the outbreak hit, he began to survive purely on the instinct to keep Marva safe, which caused a lot of close calls. To the point he felt like he had no choice but to part ways with Marva. He abandoned Marva at Twinmouth Blockade, and has not bothered contacting her.

Her mother died when she was 5, and with her father being unknown, the will was respected and she was sent to her uncle. Her uncle abandoned her at Twinmouth Blockade, and she has remained convinced he is coming back for her.
