I kind of feel like StarClan made a mistake when they chose Moth Flight to be a medicine cat. She's just too scatterbrained in my opinion, and while I know she can't help it, I still feel like this holds her back from her true potential. Even before her kits were born, she was shown to be uncapable of the most simple tasks because she always got distracted. And when it comes to working with herbs, that's a really bad combination.
Now, it is possible that she changed as she got older. Her book only covered her life when she was extremely young. However, the fact that she wandered straight onto the thunderpath without a second thought as an elder makes me question that a bit.
So honestly, I don't think Moth Flight should have been a medicine cat. I just don't think a job that requires extreme concentration and patience is good for a cat who can't pay attention very well. Again, I know it isn't her fault but I just feel like she would have been more suited for a different position in the Clan.
