ya! so this was discussed in the initial collab page between me and ember, but basically this prophecy is where there is a clanborn cat who disagrees with and wants to break up the structure of the clans and return everyone to the rogue lifestyle--"as it should be" and whatnot. the prophecy is delivered in two halves, with BrambleClan receiving the first half and ThistleClan receiving the second half. But since there is still some tensions between the two clans, neither leader wants to divulge the fact they received a prophecy with the other. But the prophecy was delivered in such a way so that the two clans HAVE to come together, as they will need each other to overcome a common threat.
and another cool thing I thought of was that maybe the cats could be taking the omens literally, so no one in brambleclan wants to name new kits with the prefix Seed-, and maybe there can be a loner named Serpent that thistleclan finds and they are immediately afraid of them or suspicious of them.
ember and i haven't gotten into the super nitty-gritty of the details yet, but just now I thought that perhaps this clanborn cat could start by receiving dark forest messages? like visions or dreams?

I like that idea! As it's a nice way to be able to "find" that cat, as while we as humans k ow who it is, none of the characters in the rp would at the time until the grand(?) Reveal,
But one question I do have for the prophecy, should I have Ferretsnap receive it through an omen/dream in the rp or should I play him as already having gotten his portion?

Hmm yeah I did consider that. Maybe we can give the rp some time to breathe and expand with short-term plots and drama before we introduce the bigger all-encompassing prophecy? I only consider that because we just started so I wanted to maybe give these new oc's time to develop their own inner conflicts and histories with each other first, yknow? what yall think?

as a matter of fact, i'm going to change the prophecy areas on each clan page so the omen isn't showing just yet. just so there's no confusion and we can build some suspense

oh i like that, like a kid being a junior? More so like "this cat helped me greatly and as thanks I'm naming my kit after them" like if they saved their life or helped raise them. A good example would be Lionblaze's Kits in the books. They're named after cats who had an impact on him. |
