What's something in the series left open-ended that you want closure for? Could be plotline wise, character wise, whatever.
One thing for me..I'd really like to know who the father of Gray Wing, Clear Sky, and Jagged Peak was. I think he's briefly mentioned in one of the earlier Dawn of the Clans books but never by name, what his personality was like, etc. I kinda hope we get some book on the Ancient Tribe of Rushing Water at some point just so we can meet him, and maybe witness the births of Gray Wing and Clear Sky.

In the bonus scene for The Blazing Star, it's stated that Quiet Rain never took another mate. To me, that implies that he might have passed away. I really do want to meet him, though. I headcanon him as a brown tabby. Simply because, Fluttering Bird is the only one of Quiet Rain's kits who isn't gray like her. I also want to meet Shadowstar's father since Quiet Rain stated that she has her father's temper (or something like that). Also, Rainswept Flower's mother. Yeah... I just want a book taking place before TST in the Tribe.

Yeah, I think the father of Gray Wing, Clear Sky, Jagged Peak, and Fluttering Bird dying (not long?) before the events of The Sun Trail take place is a pretty likely theory. This is part of why I'd really like a Half Moon Super Edition, it could cover the Tribe's move from the lake to the mountains, and give us a little insight into how they first settled there. I think Half Moon witnessing the births of Gray Wing and Clear Sky could be really cool. |

How Ashfur figured out how to shut off StarClan, control other spirits, possess bodies, etc. i want to be snarky and say "bc the writers needed a plot and made crap up" but i'd like to see how they come up with an IN UNIVERSE reason as to HOW and WHY he is the ONLY ONE in YEARS to finally figure that out...there is no logical explanation how he is the only one out of hundreds of dead cats to figure that out. he cant be the only one to also hold grudges while dead. its just illogical which is why TBC sucks to me personally |

Also I really want to know who Larkwing’s mate is, and who Stripekit and Brookkit’s father is.
Also, where do prophecies come from? This question has been brought up but never really answered.

Where the heck is my favorite edgelord Scourge at?
I know he is probably just in kittypet heaven or whatever and will never be talked about again outside of the battle with BloodClan in regards to how the Clans (and Firestar in particular) fought him off but still.
Two more things which are not really mysteries but I'm nontheless sad/mad that they never got adressed again, is Hollyleaf trying to poison Leafpool (there was zero closure to that whole situation) and the "Breezepelt tried to kill Jayfeather and Poppyfrost" situation at the Moonpool (once again which never got mentioned after TFA).
Oh well, those things will stay unresolved anyways, for sure.

resolution to any of the open-ended plotholes, and unresolved mysteries in OoTS. Like the origination of the Dark Forest that’s briefly brought up, but never fully explained. The ancients predating the cats that became the tribe. The origination of the three’s prophecy and powers that apparently came from some unexplained omnipotent force that’s from bygones before the clans were even conceived just to name a few. Rocks legacy for crying out loud!. there’s quite a bit of lore and mythology that’s brought up and never delved into again, and that irks me.
