I know there's a lot of polls asking who's the best mother/father in the series, but I haven't come across one asking who the best grandmothers and grandfathers are. I know they're not as focused as more immediate family members, but the series does acknowledge them from time to time.
Personally I think Bramblestar, Tawnypelt, Sandstorm, Graystripe, Hawkwing, and Duskfur are some of the better ones we've seen in one way or another. What about you?

Silverflame was a good one. I really liked her in YS, and her name is pretty too.

Graystripe and Millie were seen playing with their grandkids on more than one occasion but their relationships weren’t developed much, Graystripe did say he was proud of Stemleaf though.
Tawnypelt was a good grandmother to Tigerfart’s kids but she was awful to Dawnpelt’s so I don’t think she deserves the title of best grandparent.
Daisy didn’t mention Mole & Cherry in her Novella but I think she was a good grandma, especially since she cared so much about Poppyfrost.
Ferncloud probably helped raise Toadstep & Rosepetal more than Spiderleg did but it’s more due to the fact she’s everyone’s second mother if not their first, than the fact they’re her grandkids but I’m sure she loved them anyways since they were her first grandchildren after all.
Tigerstar tried bonding with his grandchildren by training them in hell but looses points for letting Flametail get almost killed there.
Silverflame was a good grandma.
Crookedstar was a good grandpa.
Gray Wing would have been the best grandfather of them all if he lived long enough to see any of his kids have children.
Fernsong & Tree would have likely been an amazing grandfathers if Bristlefrost got to have those kits she dreamed of.
