I saw this online and then bought it at a local German bookstore just yesterday and thought sharing it on this thread might be neat. On another note though, I'm really still hoping they'll do an online
Warrior Cats advent calendar on the official website this year just like last year.
But anyways, about this calendar, it doesn't feature any new artwork from James L. Barry or new story material by the writers. Instead, it has five sections dedicated to five short stories of already existing GN material from five chosen SEs. Starting off with the one from
Moth Flight's Vision, moving onto
Tallstar's Revenge, then
SkyClan's Destiny, followed by
Hawkwing's Journey and finally
Crowfeather's Trial. Each of those sections features only a couple of days in between them and after every door to the specific short manga has been opened, there is a "warrior assessment" where a few specific questions about the story happening during it in particular are asked and one (in this case me) has to write the answers down. Some of the letter boxes for those answers to the questions contain numbers and putting the letters in those special boxes all together (on the page featuring TallJake) will form a title. My guess already is that it might be the German title for
A Thief in ThunderClan but we'll see.
Before I could start my actual review/photoshoot of the book, my cat Momo decided to photobomb as per usual
Her look of judgment at the book also as per recent usual
The actual book
