It really does not have to be a competition imo.
Firestar's death saved the Clans from Tigerstar who most likely would still be scheming in the Dark Forest on how to destroy the Clans in ASC if it had not been for his nemesis permanently getting rid of him and sacrificing his own life in the process at the end of OotS.
Bristlefrost's death also saved the Clans in TBC, this time from Ashfur who wanted to destroy them all as well. Otherwise he would have never given up on his vengeful plans and still be at it in ASC.
Bluestar's death saved her own Clan from losing more cats to the vicious dog pack and prevented the hounds from ever possibly going to the other Clan territories and wreck havov there. Granted, she was trying to save Fireheart at the time but still ended up also saving ThunderClan by doing so. Her son Stonefur "only" tried to save two cats from getting executed by Tigerstar's bonehill court but still deserves proper recognition for being the sole cat to stand against such a disgusting display of prejudice and hatred against half-Clan cats during that moment. His ensuing death due to rightfully not wanting to kill Featherpaw and Stormpaw, was technically not what saved them (seeing as Tigerstar could have easily still given the order of murdering them to Blackfoot and Darkstripe) but can definitely still be considered a sacrifice and is an honorable mention.
Feathertail's death also saved "just" one group of cats (the Tribe) plus her travel companions (Brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, Stormfur, Crowpaw and Squirrelpaw) from Sharptooth the mountain lion. Similarly to Firestar getting prophecised to save the Clans, she was destined to do that but just like Firestar as well, she would have done so anyways, even without such a prophecy.

im putting my vote in for the OG, bluestar. she was going through grief and trauma the last few months of her life. just as she was finally restarting her faith in everyone and everything, she decided her last act of faith would be to save firestar and thunderclan from the dogs.

A little off topic but speaking of sacrificial deaths, I remember how Needletail gave up her life for Violetpaw. That scene rose goosebumps on my skin.

I feel like Feathertail is a good contender. Because she saved the Tribe, the clans had somewhere to shelter and guides through the mountain, whereas a lot of them probably would have died otherwise in their half-starved state.

While not the most numerous in terms of cats saved, Rowanstar’s death struck me alot because of the meaning behind it, and him giving his life to protect kits of one of the cats who betrayed him, and he did it without hesitation. It’s one thing to die protecting other warriors, but to die a brutal death in a fight to protect kits, there’s a level of honor there that I respected and mourned alot.

Probably Bristlefrost in my honest opinion. She essentially saved every living Clan cat, as they would have been captured and possessed by Ashfur when they died had he not been defeated. And I think I recall a book mentioning that StarClan can’t exist without the living Clans? So, really, she saved everyone, dead and alive. She sacrificed her whole future AND her place in StarClan to do what was right and save everyone, and now she’s gone forever, not even a spirit. Nearly everyone else who has sacrificed themselves got to live on in StarClan; Bristlefrost didn’t.
