So I was wondering how the story would turn out if different cats were art of the Three Prophecy and I wanted to see what other people would think.
Cats can't be chosen for the P03: Hollyleaf Dovewing Lionblaze Jayfeather Ivypool
Powers that can't be chosen: Super strength and invincabilty *probably spelled wrong* Mind reading Super senses

1. Berrynose Can turn invisible while becoming imperceptible by smell (or "unsmellable", if you will).
2. Ferncloud Can produce freshkill and feathers out of nothing.
3. Cloudtail Can summon Starclan cats and materialize them with temporarily living bodies.

First Version:
1. Whitewing Can "fly" (more like jump really high and far)
2. Leafpool Mind link with Squirrelflight like in canon (where they only seemed to have it in TNP for some reason) as well as heal minorly sick cats with a healing touch (did not want to overpower her already powerful ability)
3. Squirrelflight Mind link with Leafpool like in canon on top of having the power to persuade cats to actually heed her advice (which is sort of what I personally wanted Hollyleaf to get as an ability in canon but toned down a bit since she can make cats do her absolute bidding in my version of what exactly her power should have been there)
Still in relation to the "kin of your kin" prophecy for Firestar but instead refers to his direct kin as in his two daughters and then his grand-niece (so actual kin of your kin since Cloudtail is his nephew).
Or one could just scratch that and instead make Cloudtail's second litter of three kits the Prophecised Three. As in Snowbush, Ambermoon and Dewnose. Seeing as they also apply to the "kin of your kin" prophecy regarding Firestar perfectly (kin/kits of Cloudtail who is kin/nephew of Firestar).
Second Version:
1. Snowbush Can summon snowstorms (ice powers for life)
2. Ambermoon Power of changing moonphases and making the moon vanish behind clouds (moon powers ftw)
3. Dewnose Ability to summon mist/make surroundings foggy (first wanted to make his powers be about Greenleaf because of his prefix but then decided to go for something else)

Cats who were not born then who I would of liked.
Britlefrost the ability to persuade cats to her will.
Hollyleaf speaking to animals
Ivypool silent and quick stalking and never misses. Like a shadow.

Considering the prophecy is still relevant in relation to “kin of Firestar’s kin.” There isn’t many options without nothing happening for a while book-wise. (Although considering iirc, Firestar was paranoid when the OG Three were born, him remaining paranoid with each new potential kin of himself and Cloudtail would be a very interesting take. Firestar considered his daughters and Whitewing to be the three but we’re also given various interesting takes in the form of Cloudtail and Brightheart’s second litter, conveniently two toms and a she-cat. (Ambermoon, Dewnose, and Snowbush) Unfortunately no medicine cat equivalent here since the events of Power of Three likely still occurred, so Jayfeather is still around. (Just the plot related to this prophecy is taking a back-seat along with OOTS’s plot.) But for a decent equivalent based on how these three would be in compared to their canon counterparts, personality-wise…
Ambermoon: Lionblaze Dewnose: Jayfeather Snowbush: Dovewing
Ambermoon seems the most courageous of her trio and she’s sort of a mix of Hollyleaf and Lionblaze. (Having technically told some information related to her older sister, Dovewing. But being able to speak up about it at all is note-worthy. Also explains why her apprentice Eaglewing is very traditional in values now, she got it from her mentor.)
Dewnose gets Jayfeather for a personality comparison as he’s had some rude lines here and there. (I combed the wiki since I remember nothing about either him or Snowbush other than Ashfur calling him Dewtail.) And he snapped at Bristlefrost in regards to an argument about thanking StarClan for prey. With his response being along the lines of: I thanked them in my head. Which certainly fits a very grumpy medicine cat.
Snowbush gets Dovewing as outside of having a mate and listening to Purdy’s stories with Ambermoon, he didn’t really do much before his death. (I don’t recall him even having an apprentice so his sister even has him beaten there. But it does fit in better with Dovewing as she has also never had an apprentice. He was also taught by Ivypool, interesting fact.)
For this new three’s powers, they’ll all need something inconspicuous.
Ambermoon: Sensing lies Dewnose: Invisibility Snowbush: Sensing emotions
Ambermoon and Snowbush are really more thematic compared to Dewnose. (I don’t have much for him, I just needed something to slot in there. Lol)
Ambermoon’s power returns back to her speaking the truth about Dovewing. I imagine in her development that half-truths would be very hard for her to distinguish which could be heightened with her relationship with her mentor, Spiderleg.
Snowbush gets sensing emotions as I feel like it would be most appropriate with his older sisters, Ivypool especially. He also wouldn’t want to cause tension in the family but would be uncertain as to how to fix it. It’s a lot of: when would be best to act or is it better to not act at all. (He would also be aware of the conflict his mentor experiences with being in the Dark Forest since Ivypool isn’t really a spy this time around, just a regular ole’ trainee due to lack of earlier intervention since this new trio is much younger. Perhaps later on her aunt and uncles can save their niece and restore her to her spy?)
Dewnose’s mentor was his Whitewing herself. And slipping away from his older sister who would still be rattled with her own daughters’ antics would be easy even without his powers. I imagine his abilities would either give him a thrill similar to how Jaypaw acted in The Sight or he’d be torn on what to do and vanish from both consequences and actions itself.

To still keep with the “kin of your kin” prophecy, I think a decent option could be Lionblaze’s first litter, Fernsong, Sorrelstripe, and Hollytuft. I feel like Power of Three’s events could stay mostly the same as far as the Ashfur plot, but obviously Jayfeather and Lionblaze wouldn’t have powers (but perhaps they and Hollyleaf still think they’re part of the prophecy, at least for a while). Because of their lack of powers though, Lionblaze could maybe get with Cinderheart earlier on (or someone else) and they have their kits just before Omen of the Stars, and they can be the protagonists of that arc. Fernsong and Sorrelstripe would probably need different prefixes though, as the cats they’re named after in canon wouldn’t be dead yet. However, Hollytuft could possibly keep her prefix, as Hollyleaf could still run away after murdering Ashfur like in canon and so Lionblaze thinks she’s dead and still names one of his kits after her. I don’t really have any good ideas for powers for them at the moment though.

These are all Super cool! I really like the idea of Brightheart's second litter. I also have some cats of my own, mind you they are not related to Firestar, but if the prophecy was changed to something along the lines of "Three of Thunder Blood will save the forest" or something like that. It could be even cats outside ThuderClan who have TC blood!

Shot, I guess my original thread didn't send
Breezepelt - The good/evil wavering dude POWER: The ability to cast illusions for a short period of time
Willowshine - She's very cool, and I want more attention on her POWER: The ability to mimic other's voices perfectly, as well as animals
Poppyfrost - Very chill and also cool POWER: Rain and mist increase her speed, making her very fast and almost invisible in a fight during a storm or very misty morning.
