So, I was bored and did a little research into clan leaders and realized that most leaders lead their clans for between 3-5 years a few for longer (both Blackstar and Mistystar ruled for 6 years) and some for less (Brokenstar, Nightstar, & Tigerstar each ruled for a year or less) but Leafstar has lead SkyClan for over 10 years now I know she might have been a little younger than most leaders when she got her nine lives but still, it seems that Hawkwing should become Hawkstar in the next book
Anyway, that’s my random warrior fact of the day

i headcanon she was maybe 9-12 moons old when she became leader, so she's getting up there in age by now. i really want hawkwing as leader.

I mean, in real life, Bramblestar has also been leader for ten years at this point (2012-2022 and beyond until 2023 or further depending on wether or not he will retire or get outvoted in ASC and when). Although one can discount the years in which DotC got released since the modern Clans were not focused on there. That being said, I'm sure it hasn't been 10 years of leadership for him in universe so Leafstar still holds that crown here anyways. Good for her.
Love Leafstar as a leader (currently the best modern Clan leader imo) but also want Hawkwing to get his chance soon.

I love Hawkwing, but I think SkyClan needs a younger leader. he's around the same age as dovewing and ivypool i think..? so by ASC standards, he is a little bit up there as well, but he's not AS old as the actual senior warriors like lionblaze |

Absolutely agreed I was thinking this the other day! In universe, they're about 8 1/2 years old and amongst the oldest warriors.
