I'm usually not on board with canon ships, but I love how tragic him and Bristlefrost were.
I hope he doesn't get a new love interest. Having him fade into the background with only the semi-major appearance in Sky is a good way to leave off his story. Having him move on and get a new mate seems like an ending that's too happy, and Bristlefrost is perma-dead, so it feels like it'd invalidate her character a bit, even if he got character development out of it.

No one, really. But if I had to choose one out of this list, it'd be Shadowsight. I also saw the idea of Rootspring x Nightheart floating around once on tumblr back after the start of ASC and thought it was cute so that pairing is yet another new possibility for me to ship him with someone.
