Near the end of Sky, Tigerstar goes ahead with his plans to lead RiverClan while they're "rebuilding", leading to a battle between ShadowClan and RiverClan. In the end, ShadowClan gets the upper hand and RiverClan is forced to accept their temporary occupation, as Tigerstar begins to order hunting patrols and rebuilding of dens damaged during the battle. Where do you think this is going to go? The other clans voiced clear disapproval of this suggestion at the emergency Gathering, and most RiverClan cats are opposed to it, as expected. Do you think the other clans will try to force ShadowClan to withdraw from RiverClan, or is it just fait accompli at this point? Part of me wonders if the discovery that RiverClan did have at least a little catmint in their stores led Tigerstar to go through with his plan, as while he claims that he would not invade RiverClan because of his grief over Rowankit's death, but that was before the discovery was made. What do you all think?

Added the spoiler tags for ASC.
I feel like since Leafstar is the third cat included on the cover of the next book Shadow, together with both Tigerstar and Frostpaw, she will definitely have something to do with the RiverClan plot to a certain extent. Either by wanting to help them get rid of Tigerstar and ShadowClan with their temporary takeover or by getting written to somehow agree with Tigerstar that RiverClan needs the help of the other Clans in such a forced along manner until they find a cat to truly become the next leader and get proper nine lives as well, who knows. I'm really hoping for the first option to be the case instead of the second one.
Please keep in mind that I've not had the chance to read Sky properly yet due to my copy of it not having arrived up until this point, it's still on the way though. Either way, I'll have more insight into the situation after finally reading the book myself but still wanted to give my two cents on the topic. Cannot remember Leafstar's reaction from the spoiler thread to Tigerstar's idea at the gathering for which he was thankfully majorly criticized for overall, however the reason I'd brought it up at all has to to with the fact that certain characters (*cough* Finchlight from the Sky preview in contrast to her attitude regarding Nightheart in River *cough*) had a sudden change of heart or outright personality tweaks in between books before to fit the plot so it wouldn't surprise me if the same got done to Leafstar. Would be disappointing to say the least but sadly not surprising.

I dont think Tigerstr wants to take over Riverclan. He is definetly acting like this because of his kits death. Besides, he didnt try to conquer Thunderclan after he basically took their leader as prisoner, which means that he doesnt want to be like his predecesor. If they are going to make him power hungry they will ruin his whole character arc of escaping his grandpa's shadow, which was even more condensed than Bramblestar's

It's interesting because it's actually acknowledged that history is repeating itself, just under different circumstances. And that Tigerstar somehow knew about the secret catmint even though the circumstances make it unlikely he would have found out by the time he invaded RiverClan.
Since Leafstar is on the cover, I'm assuming she'll play a role once the other Clans find out about it. She was wary about Tigerstar's plans prior so I don't expect her to be that pleased. I'm guessing Bramblestar and Harestar will side with Leafstar when they find out how Tigerstar just forced them into submission despite RiverClan's protests.
That said, I can see them tolerating it for the time being because RiverClan does need a leader, and Owlnose isn't cut out for the job right now.
