Anyway, RootShadow is my OTP so-

Up until a few months ago, no one really. But ever since seeing someone mention the fanon ship of Shadowsight x Sunbeam, I've been lowkey shipping that out of some amount of spite in regards to NightSun. So yeah, ShadowSun it is for me. Although RootShadow definitely is number two regarding Shadowsight ships in my book. That said, aroace Shadowsight is still a valid headcanon I have as well. Which will now just simply have to coexist beside my two ships for him, I suppose.

It would just be way more interesting in canon if there was another attempt at writing a medicine cat x warrior from the same Clan romance (since RaggedYellow was severly lacking) than yet another seemingly badly developed forbidden romance (which is no longer considdred forbidden as of this newest arc). I know we are only at book two of ASC but NightSun just feels rushed/forced so far, like a rebound for Sunbeam (from Blazefire) and an escape for Nightheart (from ThunderClan). At least that's my opinion. Sorry about the small NightSun rant there.

Nobody. The one reason I'm grateful for Splashtail's existence is that it stopped the like three or four people I saw going "what if Frostpaw x Shadowsight?" The guy's fine as he is.

for me, i was hoping for frostpaw x nightheart instead, but now we're book 2 in ASC, so those hopes r pretty much dashed already lol

I also think Rootspring and Shadowsight are better off as friends.
