Give me a reason to love Squirrelflight.

People say she's abusive but What has she done to be douned as abusive? Sure she was anoying and immature about the hawkfrost situation but bramble was being even more stuped. And when she asked for kits it was one time. Then she dropped it. I relate to squirrelflight alot. Feeding I'll be forgotten and I have no one and want to have people to care for. Bramble in that scene got mad so quickly. Also this has been said alot but squirrelflight was lied about being barren and was pressured by starclan into taking these kits and was a loving mother. And she only told the truth was because she had to save them fighting ashfur would of been to dangerous he would easally of killed them and maby there was a little part of her that wanted tho old ashfur. Also in no way is she responsible for hollyleaf killing ashfur. Also she could of easally after the fire said. I just told him that to get you safe and go on with it but she didn't. She also went behind bramblestars back after trying and falling many times for him to see reason. And then in the broken code she displayed her love for him and what does he do in asc fights with her when she tries to be what a deputy Is there for. Squirrelflight is definitely anoying in the resent arc but she has a voice would you rather another bland female character or this cat full of opinions and salutations someone who is there to challenge a cat when she thinks there's a better salutation and when it is she does not rune it in. She should of gotten way more respect in tbc and we need squirelstar!!! If anyone thinks she's deserving of the dark forest than any cat who has an opinion is bad and evil. She's unique and smart and a loving sister mate mother you name it! If you could not tell she's my second favorite behind bristlefrost. Copy past because I'm not typing this again

Her and Brambleclaw were a cute ship at first, and I feel really bad for her about the whole being lied to and pressured so that she could lie about having given birth, (not saying it was necessarily something she should have done she is in the wrong for this, though I do feel like Brambleclaw held his grudge way longer than he actually had to)

Hm, I'm sure you've already heard a lot of arguments on why you should like Squirrelflight, so I'll throw out this random idea instead...

Based on how popular Squirrelflight is and how the writing and editing team insists on keeping her alive, I have a feeling that her death will be grand and exciting - something worth keeping her alive for.

I know I'm putting a lot of trust in the writers here. But if she actually does receive a well-written death, I have a feeling that more people might respect her. That's how I felt about Bristlefrost (I didn't care much about her character until her death).

The main reason what it looks like personality Squrrielflight in books and fandom view of the her character can be two different things. She isn’t an uncontrollable impudent and daredevil, she isn’t manipulative coquette; she isn’t weak-willed and silent victim of abuse. She is hot-tempered, stubborn, sharp on the tongue, fast on decisions; but have strong will, good heart, idealist, protective and can hear and respect the strong and the brave warriors.

I think the problem here is you asking for reasons to love her- either you love her or you don't. (And I really don't mean any offense here. If this was too offensive or something I'll take it down.)

To be perfectly honest it is something people only really say on this forum and sometimes Reddit. The amount of Squirrelflight haters here is wildly disproportionate to most places I’ve seen in the fanbase. Most corners of the community like her.
